20 IMAGE QUALITY SIMITRI TONER Business need Putting the ink on the paper is naturally critical, and in the case of most mainstream digital engines, that ink is in fact toner! The toner therefore needs to look still natural while sticking to the flat sheet and, most importantly, it must not cause problems with the finishing processes that turn the printed sheet into a finished product Why bizhub PRESS 1250? uses Simitri HD toner which has been developed to not only give excellent image quality results, but to ensure that you can take the printed sheet and create the finished product. 35 RELAY UNIT RU-510 Relay unit meets the high output speed of the bizhub PRESS 1250/P Turns sheets for smart punch (GP- 501 & GP-502) and post-insertion print jobs (PI-PFU) Also on bizhub PRESS 1052 RU

36 RU-509 & HM-102 The RU-509 relay unit has two paper de-curling mechanisms a standard mechanical de-curler and an optional humidifier type de-curler ICE (Inter-cooler Curl Eliminator) (HM-102). The mechanical de-curler reduces paper curls w hen the paper goes through its zig-zag mechanism. The de-curling strength can be adjusted in 5 stages in both directions. The optional ICE (Inter-cooler Curl Eliminator) humidifies the paper passage to remove unwanted static electricity and heat from the paper, as well as reducing paper curls and paper clings to realize highly accurate paper delivery when combined with the mechanical de-curler.
