Image quality automation Achieving the image quality your customers are expecting is easier than ever with the automated Colour Maintenance Tool built into the Xerox igen Press. In conjunction with the Inline Spectrophotometer, the Colour Maintenance Tool removes the manual and subjective steps that are otherwise involved in getting the press ready for production, automating functions such as press linearisation, creating profiles and system diagnostics. The tool assesses a set of patches and provides feedback on the readiness of the press. The right choice for every job. Line screen flexibility The Xerox igen Press offers a choice of line screens. 160/180/250-line screens and their existing dot patterns are available for traditional applications. In addition, Object Oriented Halftoning can be selected to maximise the quality of images and text in the same document. Designed with the photo market in mind, a 210-line screen optimises the softness in skin tones while maintaining detail in hair and background images.
