4 Notes The body of this cardigan is made up of eight large squares that are worked from the center out. Each sleeve is made up of 4 small squares that are joined into a single square, then formed into a cylinder. Join the squares using your choice of Kitchener Stitch grafting or the Three Needle Bind-Off Method. Body Using dpn and circular needle in larger size, make 8 Large Squares 38 (43, 48, 53) sts on all four sides of each square. Block each pc to 9 (10, 11¼, 12½)" square. Join Body Squares Notes: When joining squares, match St st edges to St st edges, and Rev St st edges to Rev St st edges. Follow the diagram for placement; the Rev St st quarters of each square are shaded in gray. The live sts can be joined using either Kitchener st grafting or the three needle bind-off method (use the larger needle to work the BO).
