3 Standard UNE EN 20811:1993 RESISTANCE TO WATER PENETRATION Scope: This test aims to determine the resistance to water penetration of fabrics. Hydrostatic pressure test. Equipment used: HYDROSTATIC HEAD TESTER FX III Conditioning of the specimens: 24 hours to 20ºC ± 2ºC - 65 % ± 4 % h.r. Test atmosphere: 20ºC ± 2ºC - 65% ± 4% h.r. 4 Standard UNE EN ISO 105-E02:2013 Scope: This part of the Standard ISO 105 describes a method to determine the colour fastness to sea water immersions of fabrics. Equipment used: Perspirometer, Evaluation chamber, Balance, Dryer. 5 COLOUR FASTNESS TO CHLORINATED WATER (SWIMMING-POOL WATER) Standard UNE EN ISO 105-E03:2010 Scope: This part of the Standard ISO 105 specifies a method to determine fabrics colour fastness to active chlorine in the concentrations normally used to disinfect swimming-pools water. Equipment used: Gyrowash. Conditioning of the specimens: Not required Dimensions of the specimens: (40 ± 2) mm x (100 ± 2) mm Aqueous sodium hypochlorite solution containing 20 mg of active chlorine per litre. ph of the solution 7,5 ± 0,05 Bath ratio: 100:1 Specimens submersion time (min): 60 Test temperature: 27 ºC ± 2 ºC Air-dry at room temperature and in half-light. 6 SOILING & CLEANABILITY TEST FOR INTERIOR TRIM MATERIALS. Standard FLTM BN ( ) Scope: This procedure is used to evaluate the soiling & cleanability behavior of automotive interior trim materials. Equipment used: Light booth, GRETAGMACBET SPECTRALIGHT III, no.eq213 Conditioning of the specimens: >24h / 23ºC ± 2ºC / 50 % ± 5 % r.h. Test atmosphere: 23ºC ± 2ºC / 50 % ± 5% r.h. Dimensions of test specimens: 200 mm x 300 mm Number of test specimens: 1 for each type of product Soiling agents by request of the client: (the amount of product applied is in function of the useful surface of the specimens): - Grease: 1 g - Ketchup: 1 g - Orange juice: 5 ml - Coffee: 5 ml - Synthetic soil: 1 g ( applied load: 5 kg / 30 s ) - Marking pen, red & black - Ballpoint pen, red & blue - Crayons - Plastidecor Conditioning after soiling: 24 h / 23ºC ± 2ºC / 50 % ± 5% r.h. Cleaning agent: in accordance to the costumer, detergent without optical brightening agents,empa, acc. to ISO 105-C06/97 (4 g/l) Cleaning: scrub with a damp sponge or cloth with an uniform force to remove any soiling. 11 SLIPPAGE RESISTANCE OF YARNS AT A SEAM IN WOVEN FABRICS Standard UNE EN ISO :2004. Fixed load method. Scope: This test aims to determine slippage resistance of yarns at seam. Equipment used: Constant elongation gradient dynamometer (VCA) INSTRON (Class 0.5) Conditioning of the specimens: 24 hours to 20ºC ± 2ºC - 65 % ± 4 % h.r Test atmosphere: 20ºC ± 2ºC - 65% ± 4% h.r. Dimensions of the nippers: 25 mm x 25 mm Distance between nippers: 100 mm Test speed: 50 mm/min Maximum load applied: 180 N (Upholstery) No. of specimens tested: 5 Type of stitch: 301 (ISO 4915) Sewing margin: 12 mm Type of thread: Polyester yarn, core spun, made from continuous filament of polyester heart and covered with cut fibre. Titre of the thread: 74 ± 5 tex Dimensions of the needle: 110 Nm Number of stitches in 10 cm: 32 ± 2 Previous treatment: Null Measurement of the opening of the seam under a load of 5 N after having undergone a maximum load of 180 N. Equipment used: Abrasion tester Nu Martindale. Conditioning of the specimens: 24 hours to 20ºC ± 2ºC - 65 % ± 4 % h.r. Test atmosphere: 20ºC ± 2ºC - 65% ± 4% h.r. Abrasive: Rubbing against a standard wool fabric (UNE EN ISO ) Test pressure: 12 kpa (795 ± 7 g) Top mobile plate 38 mm: Specimen to be tested. Type of abrasive: Rubbing against a standard wool fabric (UNE EN ISO ) Load elements mass: 415 ± 2 g. Number of cycles: (requested by the client.)
