1 Flower English translation by Fabia Taverna Materials: Yarn Poema one 150 gr. Ball. Needle size 4,5. GAUGE: cm. 5x5 = 10 stitches and 13 rows STITCHES : GARTER ST.= K all rows. DECREASES: SKP= slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over; INCREASES: K2tog = knit 2 stitches together; SK2P= slip 1, knit 2 stitches together, pass slipped stitch over; P2tog= purl 2 stitches together. - Knit Front and Back increase (KFB)= knit one stitch but dont drop it off the left needle, knit the stitch again through the backk loop, then drop them of the needle. - Make 1(Raised Increase) = make one by picking up one a loop between two stitches and knit the new stitch. - Increase at the beginning the row= cast on the number of stitches indicated.

2 FLOWER= * Cast on 3 stitches, cast off 3 stitches, replace the stitch back on your left needle*, repeat from * to* twice, but the last time keep the stitch on the right needle. ABBREVIATIONS: K= knit P= purl YO= yarn over SKP= slip 1, knit 1, pass slip stitch over. KFB= knit front and back increase. RS= right side, WS= wrong side M1= make one by picking up one a loop between two stitches and knit the new stitch. K2tog = knit 2 stitches together; P2tog= purl 2 stitches together. SK2P= slip 1, knit 2 sti, pass slipped sti over. NOTE This shawl is worked back and forth and the shape is a triangle. The leaves are on the right of the shawl (seeing the RS). 5 CAST OFF AFTER WORKING THE LAST FLOWER: cast off 7 stitches, * (replace the stitch from the right needle to the left one, cast on 3 stitches, cast off 3 stitches) repeat from ( to ) 3 times, replace the stitch back on the left needle and K2tog, then loosely cast off 7 stitches * repeat from * to * to 3 stitches before end. Use these 3 stitches for the cord and the leaf. CORD AND FINAL LEAF (OPTIONAL) With the 3 stitches left work an I-cord as follows: K3, * replace the 3 stitches back on your 8left needle, K3 * repeat from * to * until the cord measures 10 cm. LAST LEAF : only RS rows are written; all WS rows are P.
