BARN TOUR - $89 Friday, September 14 Join us for a beautiful drive in Carver County touring quilt barns. Lunch will be At The Farm, in an old restored quilt barn. The tour will end with a wine tasting at The Winery at Sovereign Estates. Celebrate Sue s Birthday with us!, September 22 Oh, do we have a day planned for you thanks to Sue being born! See back for details! OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER MONTH Decorate a bra, be creative with it. Drop it off with an entry fee of $5. We will hang all the entries on our wall, and have a vote throughout the month. The one with the most votes will be announced November 1st. Winner receives a $100 gift card to Gruber s. QUILT BINGO NIGHT, October 20 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm Join us for a fun night raising money for a great cause. Prizes will include fat quarters, precuts, gift certificates, and more! Grand prizes will include finished quilts!! 50 per card, and all proceeds will be donated to breast cancer. WRAPPED IN LOVE BY GRUBER S We will be working with the local police station and making quilts for emergency foster care. We are creating this program to keep the police cars supplied with quilts for when children are taken out of their homes without any of their belongings. If you d like to donate your time to make a quilt or donate an already made quilt, let us know. Your donation can bring a great deal of comfort and a feeling of safety to these children in such tough situations. If you have any questions, please give us a call. CHRISTMAS IN THE COURT, November 3 Come and join us in a Pinterest themed day in the courtyard with all of the businesses of DanTree Court. WOOLY WEDNESDAY - $5 Third Wednesday of every month from 4:00pm - 7:00pm Come and be the first to see new patterns, wool, and kits while working on the monthly project (or your own). Beginners are welcome. LITTLE WOMEN - $10 First Thursday of every month from 6:00pm - 9:00pm OPEN KNITTING - FREE Every Tuesday of the month from 1:00pm - 3:00pm Come, knit and get help if you need it. APPLIQUE CLUB - $5 Fourth Thursday of September & October from 4:00pm - 8:00pm Work on any applique project. Learn new techniques, tips, and a new products and patterns at each meeting. EMBROIDERY CLUB - $5 Third Thursday of every month from 6:00pm - 7:30pm Come to learn, or refresh your embroidery skills. BIG STITCH - $5 Second Monday of every month from 1:00pm - 3:30pm OPEN SEWING Our classroom is your classroom! If it is available, come use the room for only $5 per person. Classes KNITTING AND CROCHET BEGINNING KNITTING - $25 September 10 and 17, 4:00pm - 6:00pm KNITTED HACKY SACK - $25 October 22, 4:00pm - 6:00pm Learn provisional cast on and knit in the round. COFFEE CUP JACKET - $25 November 19 and 26, 4:00pm - 6:00pm Learn to steek after knitting a Fair Isle pattern. We will be using a free pattern found on Ravelry called Steek This Coffee Cozy by Rachel Henry for this class. BEGINNING CROCHET - GRANDMA S KITCHEN ESSENTIALS Grandma always made sure that all our kitchens had these simply crocheted essentials. Two classes will be available. September 15, 11:00am - 3:00pm - $25 Learn all the basics of crochet to make a simple crocheted washcloth. December 12, from 11:00am - 4:00pm - $25 We will work on towels with a hanging topper and color coordinating pot holders. FAT QUARTER 2-STEP WITH SHARON HULTGREN - $35 September 8, 10:00am - noon This fun, easy design goes quickly when using the Easy Angle!! JELLY ROLL RUG - $40 September 1 or December 11, 10:00am - 5:00pm Want a great way to use up your batting and fabric scraps? Working with 2 ½" strips, you can make this wonderful scrappy rug. CATHEDRAL WINDOWS - $35 September 8, 1:00pm - 4:00pm The Cathedral Window will WOW your friends and family with its intricate and complex look, but it is so much easier than it looks! 3 COLLAGE APPLIQUÉ - $40 September 12 & 26 (2 part class) 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm or November 24, 10:00am - 5:00 pm You can bring any Laura Heine or similar style pattern to this class. We will go over all the different techniques that are used in Collage Appliqué patterns, such as Raw Edge Appliqué, Fusible Collage, her Painterly technique, and her Underlay technique. BEGINNING QUILTING - $35 September 14, October 19, November 16, or December 7, 10:30am - 4:00pm Start with the basics and move from a simple four patch to half square triangles. WATERCOLOR - $45 Landscapes: September 18, 6:00pm - 9:00pm Northern Lights: October 8 & 9, 6:00pm - 9:00pm Church on the Lake: November 12 & 13, 6:00pm - 9:00pm Beginners welcome! We will use a Soft and Stable foam lining to create this adorable stand up tote. 4 PATCH WONDER - $45 September 29, 10:00am - 5:00pm One floral print fabric makes all your blocks and the border! See what kind of kaleidoscope effect you can get with your favorite large scale print. BORDERS & BINDINGS OH MY!! - $40 October 3, 10:00am - 4:00pm We will be going over the best techniques in the troublesome areas of finishing our quilts. TULA PINK S BLINK - $60 October 6, 10:00am - 5:00pm & October 27, 10:00am - 2:00pm This is a striking pattern whether you use Tula s De La Luna Halloween fabric or not. This project uses a combination of Foundation Paper Piecing with Traditional Piecing. NECESSARY CLUTCH WALLET - $35 October 12, 10:30am - 5:00pm This wallet has space to carry your cell phone, checks, cash, cards, and coins, and still has room for your favorite lipstick! HALF SQUARE TRIANGLES 7 WAYS - $40 October 13, 10:00am - 4:00pm This class will have you learning 7 different methods for creating your best half-square triangle blocks. Blocks made during class can be used to build fun wall hangings, including the Carpenters Star. COUNTRY FAIR RAW EDGE APPLIQUÉ - $40 October 18, 10:00am - 5:00pm See how fun and fast Raw Edge Appliqué can be. This version of appliqué uses a fusible product, which means there are no turned edges. We ll cover everything you need to know to complete this wall hanging. 3

This is a Raw Edge Appliqué pattern that uses a fusible product and has no turned edges. READING PILLOW - $35 October 26, 10:30am - 3:00pm Perfect pillow for little readers. FLEUR DE LIS REVERSE APPLIQUÉ - $40 Machine Applique- October 30, 10:00am - 4:00pm Hand Applique - November 19 & December 3, (2-part class) 5:00pm - 9:00pm Choose your method and learn the art of Reverse Applique. LOVIN HALF-SQUARE TRIANGLES - $35 November 7, 10:00am - 3:00pm Half-square triangles made easy and perfectly squared. This is an interesting and fun way to lay out your blocks - planned or scrappy - any size, as long as they measure the same! BEGINNING PAPER PIECING, HOUSES AND TREES - $40 November 10, 10:00-4:00pm Draw your own patterns and use Judy Niemeyer s sewing techniques. A house and tree pattern are provided. WIRE FRAMED TOTES - $40 November 17, 10:00am - 5:00pm The Wire-Framed Tote by Fat Quarter Gypsy is a great tote with a wire frame that is velcroedin at the top. The wire frame comes out to make this a washable bag. Can be made in small, medium or large. DINNER AND LECTURE WITH KRISTA MOSER - $25 November 29 Krista Moser is the creative force and inspiration behind The Quilted Life. A quilting and fiber arts enthusiast, she started sewing at 8 years old. She has been teaching sewing and quilting lessons for more than twenty years. Her work has been featured in quilting magazines, published by Martingale Press, and hung in prominent quilt shops around the country. 60⁰ DIAMOND CLASS WITH KRISTA MOSER - $79 November 30 & December 1, (2 part class) 10:30am - 4:00pm FanFaire is a six month Block of the Month with each block made twice to total twelve blocks. We are doing this as a two day workshop where you will get all twelve blocks done, as well as the setting construction started. Every block teaches you a new way to use the Creative Grids 60 Degree Diamond Ruler, designed by Krista Moser. Cut a combination of diamonds, triangles, hexagons, parallelograms and trapezoids to create this fun quilt, and all with one ruler! IMPROV TECHNIQUES - LUMINARY - $45 December 8, 10:00am - 5:00pm This class will concentrate on trying out several different Improv Fabric techniques. With the Luminary pattern by Jamie Swanson and a background fabric, we can turn your favorite improv fabrics into this wonderfully modern throw. Open: December 24, 10am - noon December 31, 9am - noon Judy Niemeyer MOON CATCHER - $150 October 5, November 9, and December 14, (3 part class) 10:00am - 4:00pm Join Certified Instructor, Kristen Bender, to make this stunning quilt designed by Quiltworx. This will be taught over three day sessions with breaks in between to get some sewing done. The quilt has a great balance of straight lines and gentle curves. The finished size is 99 x 99. TWINKLE STAR - $100 November 14 & 15, time to be determined. Twinkle Star is a paper pieced pattern by Quiltworx and will be taught by Certified Instructor Kristen Bender. It will be held in the retreat center and includes staying overnight in a mini retreat. Meals not included. This is a great pattern for both beginners and advanced alike.
