2 Materials Needed: Fabric (amount based off your design and size) Fabric to buy Standard Queen King Tri-Color Cuff Main: ¾ yard Cuff: ¼ yard Trim: ¼ yard Main: ¾ yard Cuff: ¼ yard Trim: ¼ yard Main: 1 yard Cuff: ¼ yard Trim: ¼ yard Same-Color Cuff 1 yard 1 and ¼ yard 1 and ¼ yard Basic 1 yard 1 yard 1 and ¼ yard *(you only need 2 wide strip for the trim, but more fabric is only sold by the ¼ yard. * Fabric must be at least 41 long

3 Basic: Measure, Mark & Cut To Cut Standard Queen King fabric 31 in. tall 35 in. tall 41 in. tall

4 Basic: Step 1 Place your fabric right side (print) down with the two 41 inch sides along the top and bottom Fold the top edge down ½ inch and iron flat Then fold the top edge over another 4 inches and iron in place

5 Basic: Step 2 Sew the flap down ¼ inch away from the bottom fold

6 Basic: Step 3 With the fold still at the top, fold the entire thing in half, with wrong sides together (to create a french seam). Pin and sew along the right edges and along the bottom, using ¼ inch seam allowance.

7 Basic: Step 4 You should have a pillow case shape, but with raw edges along the right side and along the bottom Clip the corner off the very bottom right hand corner...do NOT clip through the threads

8 Basic: Step 5 Trim about ⅛ of an inch off the right raw edge and the bottom raw edge (again DO NOT cut through the threads).

9 Basic: Step 6 Turn inside out and press flat, making the edges as flat as possible. Sew along the right edge and bottom edge (making sure those were the edges that were sewn before) Use ¼ inch seam allowance.

10 Basic: Step 7 Turn right side out and iron flat Done! Follow the turn in process to receive your textile project grade!

12 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 1 Fold your trip piece in half lengthwise with wrong sides together. Iron flat

13 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 2 Place your cuff piece down with the right side of the fabric facing up. Place the raw edges of the folded trim piece along the top edge of the cuff Pin them together

14 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 4 Place the main fabric piece on the top of the first 2 pieces face down (right sides touching). Re-pin along the top to include all 3 pieces of fabric (be careful so they don't move one you)

15 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 4 continued... Pin until the entire main piece is pinned with the other layers

16 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 5 Roll up the main fabric, to get it out of the way.

17 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 6 Fold up the bottom edge of the cuff up and over the rolled up main fabric. Line up the edges and re-pin again Side view shows the cuff surrounding the main fabric

18 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 6 Fold up the bottom edge of the cuff up and over the rolled up main fabric. Line up the edges and re-pin again Side view shows the cuff surrounding the main fabric

19 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 6 continued... Be sure the first edge of the cuff is along the bottom, the two edges of the trim, the edge of the main, and the other edge of the cuff on top (see image)

20 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 7 Sew all the edges together using ½ inch seam allowance.

21 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 8 From one end, pull out the main fabric Keep pulling until it looks like the last picture

22 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 9 Iron the cuff flat Add a little seam along the trim piece to keep it flat and in place.

23 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 10 Open end Fold Raw edges Fold the case in half (wrong sides together) Pin and sew the two sides and bottom edges together, using a ¼ inch seam allowance.

24 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 11 You should have a pillow case shape, but with raw edges along the right side and along the bottom Clip the corner off the very bottom right hand corner...do NOT clip through the threads

25 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 12 Trim about ⅛ of an inch off the right raw edge and the bottom raw edge (again DO NOT cut through the threads).

26 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 13 Turn inside out and press flat (wrong sides showing), making the edges as flat as possible. Sew along the right edge and bottom edge (making sure those were the edges that were sewn before) Use ¼ inch seam allowance.

27 Tri-Color Cuff : Step 10 Turn right side out and iron flat Done! Follow the turn in process to receive your textile project grade!

Same-Color Cuff : Measure, Mark & Cut To Cut Standard Queen King Main fabric 23 in. tall 27 in. tall 23 in. tall Cuff fabric 9 in. tall 9 in. tall 9 in. tall Trim fabric 2 in.
