Now templates are graphically shown and can be edited graphically. Now in the template it is possible to center the text not typographically. Now it is possible to make text on circles also in templates. Now the needle for the text can be selected in the template definition. An alternative font can be selected if the straight text has to be compressed because the line length. Now multiple Text parameter sets can be named and stored to use proven parameter sets for certain types of work again and again. Now also languages with writing direction from right to left are supported. For this the responding language support from windows (keyboard layout) is necessary. Ligatures (combined letters) as used in Arabic lettering are not supported! For TrueType fonts now center line underlay is available to produce best small sized lettering. Now the automatic connection can be chosen. This is the shortest straight connection if no lock stitches are necessary. It is the original connection, if lock stitches are needed. The original ending point can be defined in the font editor to the most inconspicuous place. Now the running line border is made with shortest point connection also. Now at running line borders multiple runs are also possible without Punch option. The view of the order of embroidery is now integrated in the normal view, based on a gray view. Only closed figures are filled. Now parameter sets for ACE can be presented, which contain all Punch parameters. The parameter set contains settings for running lines, satin stitch and fill stitch. Now it is possible to do small areas as running border instead of satin fill. Now the rpm (speed) command for ZSK Machines is supported (at output to ZSK Transport Code) Standard fill and structured fill are separated. At running stitch, now a free start and end point can be selected and the order of input for branches is not restricted. Also the connection between branches is optimized and crossing branches are now done on both sides. Now also branches, which describe separate contours (holes in letters like 'O' 'd' 'B' ) are done good with shortest point connection. At closed branches all runs are made in the same direction. Now it is possible to create a real bean stitch. The stitch quality is again improved. Too long or too short stitches are avoided. Now center line underlay is possible for structured fill. At structured fill it is now possible to define stitch direction lines for miter corner. Now there are 2 different density adjustment algorithms to select to get a optimal density in wavy step. Now in step stitch calculation always the rule to avoid thread breakage is used. At acute edge type now long stitches in the end are prohibited. (Only possible at Windows 2000/XP). Because of the restrictions of external drives it is only possible to operate with DOS compatible Disk formats. The access to "not DOS compatible" formats is still blocked. Now the design can be saved optionally as PCX or JPG File. With JPG Files you have the advantage, to view them on new computers without extra software and the compression rate is higher. But PCX files do have a lossless compression. Now the direct output through USB to Brother PR-600 machines is available. For this the data storage device as which the machine is connected by the computer is used. In the text parameters extended now also without punch option the parameters for overlap and pull compensation can be set. Automatic lock stitches are now made upon the space left between the letters and not upon the real length of the connection stitch. The stick in point in the connection is now in the middle of the free space and not in the middle of the connection stitch If empty lines are in the text and all is marked and the letter size is changed, the empty lines were not changed in size. Now these lines are also changed in size. When loading an alphabet add ional tests for corrupt fonts are implemented In the text format now also the Boldness is saved. In some cases (Needle change at design start) it was possible that the alphanumeric. Stitch display was delayed by one stitch to the selection. This is corrected. At removing head selections it could result in a system crash when now head selection was at the actual position. Now this function can only be selected if there is a head selection function. In some very seldom cases the starting point changed if it was selected and the cursor moved out of field. This is corrected. At pasting blocks in stitch mode was in some cases the starting stitch not correctly inserted. This resulted in a moved block or an additional stitch. Also the preview was sometimes wrong, especially when inserting multiple independent blocks. The Design start/end mark is now drawn correctly also during editing. If automatic parts which have tack and lock stitches are removed completely these tack and lock stitches are now also removed. Now these corners are kept as miter corners. The parameter bar was partially hidden after switching between different modes. Now the parameter bar is always completely shown. Also at structured input now the conversion in other types with duplication is possible. The conversion between structured and standard fill is now possible also with only option Punch ACE or Punch SE activated. In recalculation now also macros on running can be removed The minimum stitch length is now saved in the designs Now the input of freehand drawing lines is made more accurate. The Short-long rule to distinguish thread breakage at step fills is now able to be turned off because there were cases where this rule made too much stitches at the edges of the parts. Now the parameters for recalculation can be loaded through a saved stitch type. Now the contour of a structured fill is always closed automatically before calculation or input of stitch direction lines to avoid errors through non closed curves. The fill order at branches is optimized. Overlap is now also at fill in same direction after branches done. Turn over to running underlay is optimized. Overlap at holes optimized. Through changing in fill order now there are less direction changes in the underlay. The connection between top stitches and underlay is optimized. The algorithm is enhanced. The error at the miter corner calculation if starting point is near the miter corner is removed. At macro on running line it did not calculate all macro lines if there are multiple closed curves. 6 Design management Read transport code Output When reading ZSK Transport Code in very seldom cases some needle changes were ignored. This is now corrected. Now at "needle coding until" also 0 can be used to change all needle changes to stops. Print & Statistics Print needle sequence When printing needle sequences now the additional switch "order of embroidery" can be selected. Now the lock stitch is optimized in this situation. If the text is selected in monogramming and the needle is changed, and it is he first block of the design, the start needle was not changed before, but a needle change was inserted. Now the start needle changes (Same response as if the text is entered with this needle number). Now the rule for accepting a picture format is made a bit wider, so more pictures which do not exactly fit the specifications can be read. At JPEG Pictures now also CMYK Colors are accepted. At designs with very wide movements (more than 1,6 m) the movement was divided into wrong parts, so Stitches had been created which laid outside the design boundary. Is text on curve in module mode adjusted (by width or size) and text parameters changed afterwards is now the adjustment kept. The connection original or automatically is now also at envelopes done correctly. Now the calculation of optimized connections is ignored at GiS Fonts again. With Alt+F1 now the Character table can be opened anytime in Monogram. With this it is more comfortable to select special characters. If the ending point of a letter is changed in punch mode, now the automatic recalculation of the connection point is skipped. The starting point is now inside the contour even when a user defined tack stitch sequence is used. At changes in the template setting now the needle number is used also. Now also if Sequin 2 is active the sequin size is displayed correctly even in automatic parts. The using of drawing lines is optimized. Head selection The head selection is now limited to number Search function Stitch direction input At search now the stitch length is valid up to 9999 mm. 9 Stitch calculation miter corner running underlay structured fill The calculation of miter corners is optimized. The calculation of contour underlay is renewed: - Better observance of contour distance. - At curved bands is now an automatic correction to make bigger contour distance at inner contour. - At start and end of band the contour distance is separately selectable and can be smaller than at the sides. - The connection between parts is done now at the opposite side and is using overlaps if needed. - At miter corner now the center line underlay is no more running through the spike. It uses 2/3 of the width. Pick-up stitches are now adjusted separately from the running underlay. Pick-up stitches and running underlay are done separately selectable at centerline or at contour. To make a more secure connection between covering stitches and pick-up stitches the band side is crossed. Fill underlay structured fill The fill underlay calculation is now dependent from the Underlay stitch direction angle: - At stitch direction angle > 60 the fill underlay is done the same way as at standard fill, this means with constant stitch direction. Hereby fill underlay at cut lines do not overlap. - At stitch direction angle up to 60 the fill underlay is calculated as before and the direction fits to the covering stitches. Hereby the fill underlay at cut lines do overlap. When the covering stitches do have changing stitch directions it is much better not using stitch direction angles above 60 to have the underlay stitch direction fitting to the covering stitches direction. Recalculation Parameter sets Parameter sets Alphabet Editor Insert letters Scaling QuickText Machine selection If a parameter set for running stitches is activated, the proportional length setting is no longer activated. If a parameter set for areas is activated, the proportional width for center line is no longer activated. Now it is also possible to insert letters in DBCS fonts (Chinese). At output to all disk formats and export the design can be rotated by 90 steps now. At active ringbuffer, but no machine entered now the system is no longer slowing down. When deleting designs now a list of all selected designs is shown. Locked designs can be unlocked directly from the "Design is locked" message box. At Export to NCE now the Filter from NC Shuttle is used. At output for Laesser machines in NC Shuttle type, now the functions can be filtered. The view errors when using the Windows Vista Aero scheme are corrected. In the character map now also the character '&' is shown correctly. In the list of the selected letters now also the character '&' is shown correctly. The tack stitches at the first letter after the combined design could be outside the contour in some seldom cases. Now this is corrected. Between design and text it is now ensured, that only one trimming and needle off / needle on sequence is made. The setting for bean stitches is now saved in the template. The setting for pick-up stitches is now saved in the template. Now the middle mouse button can be used to move the selected stitch. With this the selected stitch is kept in contradistinction to the left mouse button where the selection is done again. When using drawing lines it was possible, that the starting point of the line was ignored if it was near the insert point. Now the complete line is used. When using pick-up stitches as centerline the cause of an error which was coming up seldomly is removed. In some cased the pick-up stitches were made outside of the contour. This is corrected.
