Computational Thinking K-12 Education. Using abstractions and pattern recognition to represent the problem in new and different ways Logically organizing and analysing data Breaking the problem down into smaller parts Approaching the problem using programmatic thinking techniques such as iteration, symbolic representation, and logical operations Reformulating the problem into a series of ordered steps (algorithmic thinking) Identifying, analysing, and implementing possible solutions with the goal of achieving the most efficient and effective combination of steps and resources Generalizing this problem-solving process to a wide variety of problems
Computational Design Sketching Visual Programming Scripting

Future Airport Complex facade modeling and resolving. Developing complex design forms and algorithms. Consulting for designs of non-uniform Facade, roofs or any building components. Development doubly Curved geometries. Solar Shading Analysis. Light weight semi open structures
Dynamo Organization are always looking for possibilities to simplify, optimize and improve their processes. Develop design in much dynamic and complex forms Potential of Dynamo to help companies and employees improving their BIM workflows. Graphical programming environments like Grasshopper or Dynamo offer all typical core functionalities and an accessible approach to programming To reduce especially labor-intensive tasks.
Mixed Use at Nairobi Logic developed to divide the facade surface into segments Segments were subdivided to develop façade panels. Adaptive component was developed to be placed on the panels. Facade was developed through series of constructive algorithm.
Dynamo Studio Dynamo is Autodesk s visual programming tool. We are working algorithmically - defining a step-by-step set of actions that follow a basic logic of input, processing, and output.

LEVEL 3 BIM
BIM Maturity Level
BIM Maturity Level Level 0 Level 0 is defined as unmanaged CAD, in its simplest form it is 2D drawings that are generated from an electronic format, then information is shared by traditional paper drawings or in some instances, digitally via PDF, essentially separate sources of information covering basic asset information.
BIM Maturity Level Level 1 Level 1 is a mix of 2D and 3D information, it is also known as managed CAD. The workflow typically starts with hand drawn or CAD design and then tons of 2D information is generated, followed by non-federated 3D models. Collaboration is introduced by means of a CDE (common data environment).
BIM Maturity Level Level 2 Level 2 BIM so widely known as the mandated level, it is also what we call the collaborative BIM level. All parties create their own 3D models, rich with information (metadata) but not necessarily working on a single shared model. Design information is shared through a common file format, which enables any organization to combine that data with their own in order to make a federated BIM model that is used for coordination and project communication. This all happens through the (CDE) common data environment. This level of BIM may utilize 4D construction sequencing and/or 5D cost information. It is imperative that all stakeholders make US of software that is capable of exporting information in IFC ((Industry Foundation Class) as to not exclude any party from this integrated BIM Process.
BIM Maturity Level Level 3 It will be a fully integrated and collaborative process. All disciplines will be supplying information by means of a single, shared project model which is held in a centralized repository. All parties can access and modify that same model in real time, and the benefit is that it removes the final layer of risk for conflicting information.
Autodesk BIM360
Level 2 Example Our office premises were completely developed in BIM, from the Concept stage to As built stage, the project has been tracked and documented in Smart sheets, to clearly establish the timeline & progress of the project. This BIM based model is now being sent in to VR to develop & create a real-time experience.
908 MTC, INTERIORS Level 2 Level 2 BIM so widely known as the mandated level, it is also what we call the collaborative BIM level. All parties create their own 3D models, rich with information (metadata) but not necessarily working on a single shared model. From Concept we used Autodesk Revit for all disciplines, various options developed numbers checked from one source Design information is shared through a common file format, which enables any organization to combine that data with their own in order to make a federated BIM model that is used for coordination and project communication. Navisworks work flow set up from the day one and regular checks were done. This all happens through the (CDE) common data environment. This level of BIM may utilize 4D construction sequencing and/or 5D cost information. BIM360 Team established as a trial version and design coordination happened continuously. As-built are being done and looking for affordable FM software to integrate. It is imperative that all stakeholders make US of software that is capable of exporting information in IFC ((Industry Foundation Class) as to not exclude any party from this integrated BIM Process.
908 MTC, INTERIORS Architecture The office space has been divided into 4 sections recreational, open office, conference collaboration area and executive office area. These working areas communicates and interacts in the space, together creates an atmosphere for an efficient and collaborative team.
908 MTC, INTERIORS Construction projects by nature are difficult to manage. If a detail is missed it could delay the project and end up costing the owner and contractor in time and money or even result in legal action. For the Interiors project, we've completely extracted all the material & Element schedules from BIM, which was very helpful in estimation & budgeting the project.
908 MTC, INTERIORS To track the ongoing construction progress, we have used Smart sheet which was very helpful in tracking the work progress & delays that happened throughout course. the

Next Let s get back into the most happening of the times Virtual Reality Augmented Reality Mixed Reality
Virtual Reality
Virtual Reality The term virtual reality basically means near-reality. Virtual reality is an artificial environment that is created with software and presented to the user in such a way that the user suspends belief and accepts it as a real environment. On a computer, virtual reality is primarily experienced through two of the five senses: sight and sound.
Augmented Reality Turns the environment around you into a digital interface by placing virtual objects in the real world, in real-time. It is an integration of digital information with the user's environment in real time. Unlike virtual reality, which creates a totally artificial environment, augmented reality uses the existing environment and overlays new information on top of it.
Augmented Reality -IKEA
Mixed Reality A hybrid of both AR and VR, Mixed Reality (MR) is far more advanced than Virtual Reality. It combines the use of several types of technologies including sensors, advanced optics and next gen computing power.
Virtual Reality This may seems like a lot of effort, and it is! What makes the development of virtual reality worthwhile? The potential entertainment value is clear. Immersive films and video games are good examples. Virtual reality has many other, more serious, applications as well, like : Architecture Construction Sports Medical Army
VR Gadgets HTC VIVE OCULUS RIFT SONY MORPHEUS GOOGLE CARDBOARD SAMSUNG GEAR VR MICROSOFT HOLOLENS
VR Software
Virtual Reality Most CAD and BIM models feature extremely detailed geometry, which is not needed for VR. Fully Interactive VR software also has extremely high performance demands, so some form of model optimization is required when bringing BIM data into a VR environment. Once the model is inside the VR environment, things like materials, lighting, furniture and other small details that make the VR experience feel real are added.
Virtual Reality Applications Building Design & Construction Automobile / Product Design Gaming Simulations Educational Tourism experience Immersive
Conclusion BIM /Revit / Dynamo Studio Complex designs are made simple Cut down the time for day to day production Provides connectively to Automation, Robotics, 3D printing Level 3 BIM Standardizes the Industry Enhances the Integrated delivery Reduces re-work and saves construction time and cost VR Shows how things really work in reality, Helps us to make design and construction decisions Extensive applications in various kinds
