6 CONNEX Coupling When connected to a CONNEX coupling the STATIS turbines can be swiveled through a full 360º, without tension in your wrist and without dental tubing becoming twisted. The coupler also contains a non-return valve to prevent contaminated water from returning to the dental tubing and unit. 5

9 HPS HYGIENE PROTECTION SYSTEM Filled with SciCan s HPS resin (Hygiene Protection System) to help prevent build up of debris. A dental handpiece is an intricate assembly of finely engineered components built into narrow channels within the handpiece. In a traditional construction, these channels can collect matter and are notoriously difficult to clean effectively. These hard to clean channels within the SANAO line of handpieces are filled with SciCan s HPS resin that closes the door on any material that might otherwise find its way inside. 8
