7 A U R A C O L L E C T I O N The Aura pendant pares down lights into its two elemental components: the light source and its light. When illuminated Aura s brass ring creates a glowing halo highlighting the simple magic of the light bulb we so often take for granted. 21 S P U N C O L L E C T I O N Spun, Ladies & Gentlemen s original lighting series produced by Seattle-based Standard Socket considers lighting as the most essential accessory to a space. As if designing jewelry, L&G considered how each lighting component could complement the other to create tidy elegant compositions. Spun features a polished brass shade, which encases an exposed globe light bulb. An adjustable interior reflector (in black or white) causes the bulb to sit in the housing like a precious stone. The Spun Series is manufactured by Standard Socket.

29 S H A P E U P C O L L E C T I O N Shape Up is a versatile lighting series in celebration of geometric shapes, and materials. These playful collages upend traditional notions of symmetry in favor of a dynamic spatial harmony. SHAPE UP s abstracted lampshade forms are networked via connecting cords and hubs. The resulting modular system allows the shapes to be suspended and composed indefinitely in response to a space s architecture and function. As if connecting the dots, the cord network graphically expresses the light sources formal and electrical connection to each other. Shape Up is skillfully crafted to order by Roll & Hill with hand-blown glass shades by Northwest glass designer John Hogan.

Where Forward Slash reduces the parts of a task lamp into three basic geometries, Composium uses contrasting materials and shapes to create a three dimensional abstract tableau. Equalizer s undulating framework is inspired by folding metal room dividers, mechanisms for spatial definition without solid walls. 57 K A Z I M I R C O L L E C T I O N The Kazimir Chandelier was inspired by the late 1800 Russian artist, Kazimir Malevich, who created paintings often composed of flat, abstract areas of multi-layered shapes and compositions. Like his work, the Kazimir fixture is the result of our increased experimentation with complexity & layering, geometric abstraction and minimalism. Kazimir explores an elemental complexity through a 3 piece collage of textured and dichroic plate glass shapes arranged around an illuminated triangular frame. The resulting arrangement celebrates layering of shape, texture, color, and effect. Complexity lies at the intersection of the three elemental forms and invites one to see how the composition transforms. Kazimir is made and manufactured by Roll & Hill and available through L&G Studio.

A metal and whitened maple frame supports a leather sling seat. Leather will darken and age beautifully over time through use and exposure to sun light.
