4 News and Notes Continued New Website We recently launched a new website for blood donors, where they can access their accounts like the old site. If any donor happens to mention any issues login-in during one of your shifts, please advice them to reset their password and that should solve the issue. Thank you! Patient Spotlight Meet Friends, Ella and Kamila 10-year-old Ella and 3-year-old Kamila have Thalassemia, also known as Cooley s anemia. A chronic illness that causes life threatening anemia. They receive blood transfusions every 2 to 3 weeks and will continue to depend on them the rest of their lives. Ella enjoys singing, dancing and bike riding with her twin brother. She also loves listening to music while playing with her Monster High dolls. Kamila is a spunky 3-year-old who loves to sing and dance, host tea parties, play dress-up, and pick flowers. Her favorite characters are Draculaura & Lagoona Blue from Monster High, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Rarity (My Little Ponies), and Princess Poppy from Trolls. She's a major chocoholic and gives the biggest hugs!

5 Bloodmobile Greeter Schedule - December 2017 The average time for blood drives is approximately 4 to 6 hours. To ensure that your time is respected, you can choose a 4 hour shift. Please indicate if you would like a 4 hour shift when signing up for blood drives. Procedures number listed following the blood drive time corresponds to the donor projection for that particular drive. Please note, the blood drive schedule is subject to change. If you have already signed up for a drive in December it will NOT be listed unless it needs more than one volunteer.
