June was the rst woman president of the local Lions Club. In 1995, she was the District Lion of the Year as well as citizen of the year. She was president of the Chamber of Commerce, a member of the F. L. E. A. S. and E. A. S. June and Junior loved traveling. They visited 49 of the 50 states along with Canada and Mexico. June was an amazing artist and seamstress. She would whip up anything including costumes, a prom dress or school clothing. She loved her roses. She was a caretaker and a professional hugger.

At one time or another there hasn't been a person or group in the community that she hasn't helped. No matter what activity the kids or grandkids got into, June and Junior were highly involved. Then came along grandkids. Terry, Will, Jacque, Robert R., Preston, Cody and Callie. Granny June was the lifeguard of the King Community Pool where she spent 33 years on duty as head lifeguard. Granny June never missed her grandkids or the Wildcats sporting events. She earned herself a lifetime athletic pass and Wildcat Fun of The Year in She always made sure the referees and umpires made the right call, even when it might not be the correct one. She loved cooking and making Disney character and Batman pancakes, taking the grandkids to Six Flags and to multiple sporting events - and even on occasion forgetting one Jacque. Some of the grandkids' fond memories include hour long

10 trips to Walmart with Granny June. They were hours long because of the countless people she would stop and talk to. Great Grandkids, Grier, Lane, Claive, Makenah, William, Isaiah, Hayden, Jayden, Rylie and Porter, and soon to be a great-great grandchild. She loved them and they meant the world to her. Thank you. Your love and support at this dif cult time is very much appreciated and of great comfort to all of the family. We cannot thank you enough for kindness and efforts to console our hearts.
