1 OUR VALUE PROPOSITION We act as Construction Managers, accountable to the client for quality delivery of projects within time and budget. We spend considerable amount of needs and project objectives, time planning and evaluating clients in order to deliver quality products in the most cost effective manner within set timelines. We provide local solutions and continuously assess international best practise for possible adoption. We coordinate high level activities such as: Programme master plan and contract management. Concept development support and construction design input on turnkey operations. Procurement of materials and management thereof. Progress monitoring including quality control and compliance with OHS requirements. Mentorship support services to emerging construction industry contractors. Skills transfer through project collaborations with public sector employees and local emerging firms.

3 PERTINENT OTEO CONSTRUCTION EXECUTIVES Clive Manci is the founder and Chairman of Oteo Capital (Pty) Ltd. Clive started his business career in 1995 at the age of 23. In 1997 he started his own business, Isivuno Auctioneers, which was a joint venture with the Aucor Group. In 2000, Isivuno Auctioneers merged with Aucor (KZN) and he became Managing Director of the merged entity (Isivuno Aucor) and served on the Aucor Group Board. He consolidated all his business interests into Oteo Capital and his focus is now on growing that business to its full potential. Clive is currently the President of the Durban Chamber of Commerce, a Council Member of Mangosuthu University of Technology, Board Member of SACCI and Smart Exchange (a Durban based IT incubator owned by the ethekwini Municipality). Clive holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College (UK) and has a completed two M&A programmes at Harvard Business School and London Business School. Xola Sithole is the Chief Executive Officer of Oteo Capital (Pty) Ltd. Prior to that he was Managing Director of Khula Enterprise Finance Ltd, a R1.5 billion development finance institution for small businesses. In his tenure at Khula, the organisation s lending & investment portfolio grew from R380m to R850m, income from core operations from R32m to R150m and annual advances from R200m to R500m. Xola started his investment career as a Business Analyst at the IDC and went on to spend over 9 years in that company in various operational, strategic and leadership roles. His areas of expertise include investment assessment and execution, financial structuring, private equity and venture capital. Xola has served as a non-executive director in Foskor, and possesses a keen understanding of the company s strategy and operations. Xola holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Natal and has undertaken a number of postgraduate executive development programmes locally and abroad Sfiso Memela is currently the Managing Director of OFS, a subsidiary of Oteo Capital. Sfiso has a strong background in Financial Services which started in 1999 when he joined Edcon Financial Services as Debt Recovery supervisor. Soon after that he was offered an opportunity to become a credit trainee manager and later appointed a Credit Manager covering four provincial operations in South Africa. Sfiso became a National Credit Control Manager co-ordinating all credit operations across the country for brands such as

4 Edgars, United Retail & CNA. In 2003 he joined Toyota Financial Services (A Division of WesBank) where he looked after debt provisions and debt write offs. In 2005 he became an Executive Officer and was duly invited to the WesBank Board during the 2005/2006 financial year as part of his executive development. Sfiso has a Bachelor of Technology (Business Management) Durban University of Technology Dennis Mashile is currently the Managing Director of Oteo Resources, a subsidiary of Oteo Capital. Dennis Mashile is a qualified mining engineer who spent over 10 years in various mining operational roles at Anglo American prior to venturing into the mining investments arena. Since July 2003 Dennis has been an entrepreneur with various business interests in mining and related sectors. Until recently, Dennis was a Fund Manager for a R200m junior mining fund (Anglo Khula Mining Fund) and serves as a specialist consultant in mining operations, mining investment and finance. Dennis Mashile has worked as a mining analyst at HSBC Securities, covering six listed companies He was a project manager at the New Diamond Corporation, running a large open-cast mining operation in the Northern Cape Dennis holds a BSc Eng (Mining) from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from the University of Pretoria Sbu Bophela is currently the Managing Director of Oteo Construction (Pty) Ltd. He has extensive experience in project and construction management of major building and civil engineering projects, property development and valuations. He started his career at C.M.G.M Civil Engineering and later joined the Ithala Development Finance Corporation, responsible for leading and managing various projects. Sbu also consulted at RTM Consultants as Technical Manager for the delivery of the R100m KZN Peace Initiative Infrastructure Programme. Most recently, as part of the LOC Technical Team, he participated in oversight project management, cost monitoring and compliance of the ten FIFA World Cup Stadia valued at R16.4bn country wide. Sbu holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, B. Tech Degree in Management,

5 Advanced Project Management and T4 Civil Engineering. He is a Professional Construction Project Manager, (Pr CPM) and is also an Accredited Construction Industry Mentor.
