It s a reminder that our professions often drive us to avoid or ignore work-related functions in our personal lives. CPAs aren t immune to this pattern. The last thing a CPA wants to do after a long day at work is spend personal time budgeting; tracking finances and investments; and planning for the future. For young CPAs, social activities, family concerns and networking make this even more difficult. Successful financial planning is relatively easy and requires a minimal amount of time.
