2 Kit Graves Lee and I moved here in 2005 and we have enjoyed and participated in the Coosaw Creek neighborhood experience. I have been on the Country Club Board of Directors for three years and have seen this community rise from financial difficulties to having a sound financial future. My professional career included working for Carnation Company/Nestle USA for 26 years. I began my employment as an Account Manager, calling on grocery, drug, convenience, and military headquarters. Later, I was a Business Manager, overseeing sales and growth of Nestle s Petcare and Nutritional divisions in the Mid-Atlantic region. My final years were spent as a Broker Manager, responsible for 100 million dollars in sales of Stouffers, Lean Cuisine, Tollhouse Refrigerated Cookie Dough, Buitoni Refrigerated Pastas, and Ortega Mexican Foods in the Southeast US. These various positions enabled me to develop leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills. I also have a business sewing custom dance dresses for an Irish Dance School in Maryland. I have served in several community positions in Coosaw Creek: Coosaw Creek Country Club Director, Coosaw Creek Country Club Board VP, 2011 Coosaw Creek Women s Club Board President, 2008 Board Vice President, 2007 Welcome Committee Chair, 2006 Property Stewardship Committee, Club Board s Advisory Committee, 2008 LGA Board Member, 2007 My hobbies include golfing, reading, visiting my 4 grandchildren and cooking. I have always enjoyed working with fellow neighbors to reach common goals. If reelected I will continue to contribute to Board of Director decisions to make Coosaw Creek a wonderful, financially sound community.

3 Jeff Hemphill Jeff Hemphill, who has lived in Coosaw for 13 years, is a long-time resident committed to the effective management and long-term improvement of the Club to ensure that members enjoyment of and investment in Club are maximized. An avid golfer and equity member of the country club, Jeff has leadership experience in this community by serving on the Golf/Tournament Committee for the past four years. Jeff has seen many changes in our neighborhood over the years and has provided his input through participation in all Club meetings and several focus groups. Jeff is a Charleston area native who was born in Hanahan, SC. He participates in the community by serving as a volunteer basketball coach for the Garrett Academy Varsity Basketball Team as well as the Cathedral of Praise Youth Basketball Program. Jeff is a mechanical engineer who has been employed by Robert Bosch for 13 years. Jeff is a very productive individual who has a methodical approach to getting things done. In his professional and volunteer leadership roles, Jeff is adept at working effectively with large groups of people. Prior to returning to Charleston, Jeff lived in Greenville, SC, where he was an engineer for an automotive parts manufacturer. He has a bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering from UNC Charlotte. Jeff has been married for 17 years. He and his wife, Trina, have a 9-year old daughter and two dogs. Their family participates in the Coosaw community by attending most family events at the Club. Their daughter, Victoria, is a swimmer for the Coosaw Creek Crocodiles.

4 Deon Knecht I am originally from the Peoria, Illinois area. I attended Central Illinois College. I moved to Charleston in My wife Daniela, daughter Cecelia and I moved to Coosaw Creek in June 2004 from Summerville. We are an active golfing and swim team family. Currently I work for US Foods as a Territory Manager providing wholesale foodservice products and solutions to local businesses in the Charleston area. I have worked for US Foods for eight years and prior to that I worked in the Information Technology field with several local companies. We are active members of Peace Lutheran Church on Dorchester Road and I serve on the Church Council. Since moving to the neighborhood, I have been active in various subcommittees of the POA including the Government Affairs Committee, and I also am a current block captain for the Disaster Preparedness Committee. I have also been a volunteer coach for various youth sports teams over the past several years. I am looking forward to be able to bring the enthusiasm and passion of our swim team families to other areas within our club.

5 Marion Phillips I am a native of the area and have always lived in the low country. My wife Donna and I moved into Coosaw in 1998 from Summerville and we enjoy the many amenities offered by the community. Shortly after moving into the neighborhood, I was a member of the Golf Committee. I served as a member of the Financial Oversight Committee in 2009 prior to being elected to the Board where I have served as Treasurer for the past three years. I began my career in 1972 at what is now called the Bushy Park Industrial Complex located on the Cooper River in Goose Creek. Under the company names of Verona Chemicals, Mobay, Miles, Bayer, and Lanxess, I held numerous positions in manufacturing and logistics. Currently I am the Plant Manager for Kemira Chemicals who purchased our operations from Lanxess in The Club has made great strides to improve our financial stability over the past few years and I would like the opportunity to represent the members for another term.
