Themed "Change the Game SMEs!, ", this World IP Day seminar celebrates how SMEs have successfully leveraged upon their valuable intellectual assets to change the rules of the game and transforming their businesses creatively to thrive in the increasingly challenging global economic environment. He is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, and is also qualified as a Solicitor, England & Wales. 3 SPEAKERS PROFILE Ms Lorraine Tay ATMD Bird & Bird LLP Ms Lorraine Tay is a partner at the Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology Groups of ATMD Bird & Bird in Singapore. Lorraine actively participates on various Committees with the International Trade Marks Association (INTA), and currently serves on the Non Traditional Trade Marks Committee. She is consistently recognised as a leading IP lawyer by clients and top legal directories including The Legal 500, Chambers & s and World Trade Mark Review. She regularly presents on intellectual property issues at seminars and events. Lorraine is also a registered Singapore patent agent. Lorraine focuses primarily on non-contentious intellectual property and general IP advisory work. She has worked with numerous clients across various industries to manage and protect their portfolio of intellectual property rights which include trademarks, patents and design covering multiple jurisdictions worldwide. The remaining 25% will be charged as an administration fee. No refund will be made for any withdrawal after this period except in mitigating and extenuating circumstances (e.g. bereavement, illness and accidents), subject to management s approval. Documentary evidence must be produced in such circumstances. Substitutions are welcome at any time. However, such requests must be made to the IP Academy in writing. Cancellation & Refund The Organiser reserves the right of cancellation. A full refund will be given to registrants if the course is cancelled by the Organiser. The IP Academy reserves the right to make changes to the programme. Payment Payment is required before the start of the course or within 14 days of receipt of invoice, whichever is earlier. IP Academy reserves the right to refuse entry to participants who have not made payment of the course fees. All cheques should be crossed and made payable to IP Academy.
