1 NEW CASTLE COUNTY VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION REGULAR MEETING 7:00 P.M. The following Board members were present for the School Board meeting, which was held at the St. Georges Technical High School: Madeline Johnson, Vice President; Robert Gilligan; Nello Paoli; Mark Stellini; and Renee Taschner. Victoria C. Gehrt, Superintendent, was also present. Cheryl Dennis arrived at 7:05 p.m. Yvette Santiago, President, was absent. CALL TO ORDER Ms. Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE REPORT / SECRETARY / SUPERINTENDENT Minutes A motion was made by Mr. Stellini and seconded by Mr. Paoli to recommend approval of the minutes of the September 24, 2018, regular meeting of the Board of Education. The motion was carried with 5 affirmative votes. Those in affirmative were: Ms. Johnson, Mr. Gilligan, Mr. Paoli, Mr. Stellini, and Ms. Taschner. Mrs. Dennis was absent at the time of the vote. The District generated Division I Units (this is an increase of 0.74 units from FY18). The estimates have been sent down to the Department of Education for review and verification. At 8:42 p.m., a motion was made by Ms. Taschner and seconded by Mr. Gilligan for the Board to come out of Executive Session. Ms. Johnson reconvened the meeting at 8:42 p.m.
