1 The Communicator Navajo County s Employee Newsletter Volume 2, Issue 2 February 10, 2011 County Manager James Jayne Recognized In recognition of his outstanding record of professional service, Navajo County Manager Jimmy Jayne was honored by the Arizona City/County Managers Assocation (ACMA) with the John J. DeBolske Professional Excellence Award at the ACMA Winter Conference in Sedona. Jimmy has served as Navajo County Manager since His public service has also included serving as a congressional chief of staff and director of operations for the Arizona House of Representatives. (Picture and article continued in adjacent column) I N S I D E T H I S I S S U E 2 Birthday Congratulations & Reminders 3 County Employees are Honored at Board Meeting 3 Dottie Wilson Retires Jimmy is a dedicated public servant whose commitment to the public management profession is demonstrated by his service to the elected officials, employees, and residents of Navajo County, said CSA President and Navajo County Supervisor David Tenney. The award is the highest honor that ACMA may bestow upon an active member. Previous recipients have included former Phoenix City Manager Frank Fairbanks and former Scottsdale Manager Dick Bowers.
