2 Who We Are Portfolio Managers Solomon Chin, MBA, BSc, CIM Senior Vice President Portfolio Manager, Senior Investment Advisor, Solomon entered the financial services industry in 1987 upon completing his MBA degree. BaseLine Growth TM, designed by Solomon, is a highly disciplined investment strategy specialized for investment growth and capital preservation. For over 25 years, Solomon has assembled a team focused on using this unique in-depth technical analysis to increase clients wealth while mitigating risks. Solomon was born in Brunei and spent his younger days in Malaysia before immigrating to Canada in Solomon obtained a degree in Science from the University of Victoria and an MBA from York University. He enjoys living in Vancouver with his wife and daughter and leads an active lifestyle which includes gym exercise, golf and badminton. Steve Sun, CFA, MBA Vice President Portfolio Manager, Senior Investment Advisor, Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, Steve was an Ivestment Advisor for two major bank owned asset management and securities firms. Steve specializes in providing personalized investment solutions for high net worth clients. Over the last 17 years, Steve has developed a reputation as a highly trusted Investment Advisor in the industry. Steve was born and raised in Shanghai, China. After completing his studies in the prestigious Shanghai International Studies University, he obtained his business degree from the University of Wisconsin. Steve came to Vancouver in 1993 and graduated with an MBA in Finance from Simon Fraser University. Steve has chosen Vancouver as a perfect city to raise a family. When not at work, he enjoys golf and traveling with his wife and two sons.
