1 UNIVERSITY OF DELHI DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION Ph.D. Admission 2018 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES List of Candidates Shortlisted for Interview Date of Interview: 23 th and 24 th July, 2018 Venue : Department of Education, University of Delhi 12/07/2018 Interview for each candidate will be conducted in two sessions (Morning and Afternoon). Each candidate has to appear in both sessions. Therefore, the candidates must ensure to be present for both sessions on the date allotted. At the time of interview, you are required to bring the following: 1. Two copies of application form submitted at the time of on-line registration. 2. Eight copies of your research proposal. Each candidate will go through a two-phased interview, one on Research Methodology and the other in the area of specialization. Each phase will have the same marks, i.e. 15. (Total = = 30 marks). Proposed theme must be same as submitted at the time of on-line registration. The content can be reorganized (not more than 1000 words) in following themes : Area of Research including proposed Title Theoretical/conceptual background Research Gaps Tentative research methodology Contribution to the discipline 3. A copy of Photo Id proof (such as voter Id card/aadhaar card/driving license/ Passport) with original for verification. 4. A copy of Class X Board Examination Certificate with original for verification of Date of Birth. 5. A copy of mark sheet of qualifying degree (M.Ed./M.A. Education/M.Phil. Education) with original for verification 6. A copy of certificate of qualifying national examination as applicable (such as NET/ JRF/ etc.) with original for verification 7. A copy of SC/ST/PwD Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority with original for verification. 8. A copy of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Candidate) issued by competent authority and valid for 2018 with original for verification. NOTE The admission of the applicant shall be considered in accordance with the rules of University of Delhi Eligibility for interview is subject to verification of all the relevant documents.
