2 Nadia Campion Recognized as a leading practitioner in Best Lawyers Annual Guide for securities law Experience Nadia has a broad civil litigation practice that includes complex commercial disputes, shareholder oppression applications, director and officer liability, estates matters, class actions and professional liability. She has extensive trial experience, having acted as counsel in trials, arbitrations and administrative hearings involving a number of industries and subject-matters, including securities legislation, wrongful dismissal suits, shareholder disputes and corporate fraud. She has appeared repeatedly before the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal, as well as the Ontario Securities Commission and the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC). She also has an active land development and real estate litigation practice, appearing before the Ontario Municipal Board. Prior to joining Polley Faith, Nadia practiced law at another leading litigation firm where she gained broad experience in civil litigation, and trial practice and strategy. She also completed a one-year in-depth secondment with a securities dealer, where she provided support on a range of legal issues, including broker/dealer liability, regulatory compliance, capital markets litigation and employment law matters. Nadia has both Canadian and U.S. law degrees and is bilingual. Education Nadia received her BA Honours from McGill University, her LLB from University of Ottawa (Magna Cum Laude) and her JD from Michigan State University (Summa Cum Laude). She also received her Certificate in Civil Law from Universidad de Panamericana in Mexico. During her final year of law school, she clerked for Justice Belanger of the Ontario Court of Justice. She also earned various awards for her achievements representing both Michigan State University and University of Ottawa at the William C. Vis International Arbitration Moot in Austria and the Niagara International Moot Competition in Chicago. Most recently, she was the Chair of the Gale Cup Moot, the most prestigious bilingual law school mooting competition in Canada. Nadia was called to the bar in Ontario in Admissions and Memberships Nadia is a member of the Advocates Society, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association. She is a guest instructor at the LPP Trial Advocacy Program and is a frequent speaker, moderator and writer for various organizations and publications on a range of legal issues, including for the Lawyers Weekly, the Law Times, Corporate Disputes Magazine, the OBA and the Advocates Society. She also acts as a mentor and principal to junior lawyers and students.

3 P.A. Neena Gupta is a partner with Gowling WLG and focuses her practice on employment/labour/human rights litigation as well as commercial litigation. She serves as co-chair of the firm s Diversity and Inclusion Council. She serves on the Rules Committee of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and on the Board of Directors of the Advocates Society. In her spare time, she is often found mucking out stables with her horse-crazy teenager. She is a popular speaker and presents frequently with the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA), Partners in Prevention and the Ontario Bar Association.

4 Geoff R. Hall is a partner in the Toronto litigation group at McCarthy Tétrault LLP. His practice encompasses a broad range of corporate/commercial litigation, including contract disputes, banking litigation, shareholder disputes, tax disputes, bankruptcy/restructuring litigation, administrative law litigation, and Aboriginal litigation. His recent major engagements include Canada (Attorney General) v. Fairmont Hotels Inc., 2016 SCC 56 (appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada involving the test for rectification in a tax context), Canadian Northern Shield Insurance Co. v Canada Inc., 2016 ONSC 5843 (dispute over the enforceability of an alleged contract), Pavao v. Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, 2016 ONSC 604 (Div. Ct.) (stay pending judicial review), a major international commercial arbitration seated in the United States, and defending The Toronto- Dominion Bank in an action for $5.5 billion arising from the collapse of Stanford International Bank. He is also a widely published author, his most notable work being Canadian Contractual Interpretation Law, which has been cited multiple times by the courts including nine times by the Supreme Court of Canada. He teaches widely in both contract law and trial advocacy. He clerked for the Supreme Court of Canada in , and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in MT DOCS v1

5 Alexandria M. Little was called to the Ontario Bar in She articled with and subsequently joined the litigation group of a national firm. In 2008, Alexandria joined Hydro One Networks Inc. as an in-house litigator until she relocated to Northern Ontario in 2011 and returned to private practice. Currently, Alexandria practices both commercial litigation and corporate law at Laidlaw, Paciocco, Dumanski, Spadafora & Johnson LLP in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

6 Alan T. Mak, FCPA, FCA, CBV CPA/CFF (Illinois), FCPA (Hong Kong), CGMA, CFE Alan Mak is a co-founder and partner in Ferguson + Mak LLP, a forensic and investigative accounting firm based in Toronto, Ontario. Since 2000, Alan has specialized exclusively in forensic accounting, with a particular focus on accountants and auditors professional standards and economic loss calculations (including business valuations in a litigation context). Alan has extensive experience with litigation support and dispute resolution, having been retained by plaintiffs and defendants counsel as an expert witness in a variety of matters. Alan has been involved in securities class actions, complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, corporate fraud investigations and professional accountants negligence claims. He has also provided expert valuation opinions on businesses ranging from multinational high technology companies to professional firms. Examples of industries to which Alan has been exposed in a professional capacity include: bank and nonbank financial institutions, automotive parts manufacturing, mining and natural resource companies, insurance companies, public utilities, real estate development and management, waste management, healthcare (including acute care hospitals), public school boards, crop and livestock farming, restaurants, community housing, among others. Alan has provided expert testimony before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Manitoba Court of Queen s Bench, the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, the Ontario Energy Board and the Copyright Board of Canada. Alan presently serves as an elected member of the Governing Council of CPA Ontario. He is currently Vice-Chair of Council, following three successive terms as Secretary and Chair of the Governance Committee. Alan also serves on the Board of Directors of the Scarborough and Rouge Hospital. He has also held faculty appointments at the University of Toronto and the Schulich School of Business at York University.

7 Brian N. Radnoff is a partner at Lerners LLP in Toronto, in its Commercial Litigation and Appellate Practice Groups. Mr. Radnoff s practice involves work in many facets of commercial and complex litigation. He acts as counsel for clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes, including securities litigation, shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, professional liability, employment claims, administrative law, defamation claims, estate litigation, class action proceedings, competition and trade litigation and insolvency issues. He has appeared in the Ontario, British Columbia and Federal Courts. Mr. Radnoff is knowledgeable about e-discovery issues as he has worked on several large files requiring preservation and production of significant amounts of electronic information. He is co-chair of his firm s e-discovery committee. Mr. Radnoff is listed in Best Lawyers In Canada and was a recipient of a 2015 LEXPERT Zenith Award. Mr. Radnoff has been published on various litigation issues. He is also adjunct faculty at the University of Toronto Law School as the Coordinator of the Upper-Year Moot Program. Mr. Radnoff is a member of the Advocates' Society, the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, and the law societies of Upper Canada and British Columbia. Despite a busy practice, Mr. Radnoff finds time to be a culinary artisan and an arts enthusiast.

8 Greg is a partner at Wright Temelini LLP, a litigation boutique specializing in regulatory defence matters, and commercial and securities litigation. Greg has litigated before the Supreme Court of Canada, every level of Court in Ontario, and the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition to securities litigation and appeals, he routinely provides advice and represents clients in securities and financial regulatory investigations, enforcement proceedings and registration matters before the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and Self Regulatory Organizations such as the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association (MFDA). Greg was co-counsel for the successful Appellant in Antrim Truck Centre Ltd. v. Ministry of Transportation, a decision of the Supreme Court of Canada which analyzed and refined the law of nuisance. Earlier in his career, Greg worked as counsel in the Trade Law Bureau of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade where he appeared for Canada before the World Trade Organization in cases concerning the softwood lumber dispute with the United States and Canada s regime for dairy product exports.
