3 Alumni Panelists Maria Lavinia Baldeo Penaverde (Lavi) MBA Class of 2001 President and Managing Director, Opus Ad Lucem Inc. Originally from Manila, Philippines Currently Living in Manila, Philippines Lavi is the founder and Chief Learning and Development Officer of Opus Ad Lucem Inc. (OAL), an emerging player in learning events management based in Manila, Philippines. Anchored on the mission of Strengthening One, Empowering Many, she has dedicated more than two decades of her career in organization development and training across industries and functions for global and local companies. She is the first Filipino recipient of the Young Leaders Program (YLP) MBA scholarship by the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) and belongs to the ICS Class of She graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines, Manila with a BA degree in Social Science with a major in Behavioral Studies. She has earned the distinction of being the first Filipino Junior Chamber International (or Jaycee) member to win a back to back grandslam award as Outstanding Member and Outstanding Local Chapter President in the area, national convention, Asia Pacific Conference and World Congress. Companies from various industries such as Banking, Retail, Insurance, Real Estate, Business Process Outsourcing, Manufacturing, Government and Universities have made Lavi their partner consultant for their personnel and business development efforts, especially for Leadership, Communication, Customer Service and Sales learning requirements. Donal Crilly (Donal) Class of 2003 Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, London Business School Originally from Belfast (Northern Ireland), UK Currently Living in London, UK Donal Crilly is Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at London Business School, where he teaches corporate strategy on the MBA, Executive MBA, PhD programs in London and conducts executive education both in the UK and overseas. His research on how firms manage their stakeholders to create long term competitive advantage is published in the leading academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, and Organization Science. His current research investigates why some managers focus their attention only on short term concerns whereas others also focus on the longer term. Prior to joining ICS, he was General Manager of KDDI Europe, London. He holds a PhD in management from INSEAD, Fontainebleau. 3

4 Alumni Panelists Tatsuro Yamaguchi (Tats) Class of 2005 Managing Director and General Manager, Mitsui E&P Middle East B.V. Originally from Kamakura, Japan Currently living in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates After graduating ICS, Tats (Right) returned to Mitsui & Co. and worked for six years in the Energy Business Unit (including Planning and Administrative Department), Tokyo headquarters. He has been in the Middle East since 2012 as MD and GM, Mitsui E&P Middle East B.V. (MEPME). MEPME, an E&P affiliate of Mitsui & Co., and is responsible for E&P business in the Middle East and North Africa region. E&P stands for Exploration and Production of oil and gas. MEPME currently has 30 staff coming from 10 different countries. Even in the United Arab Emirates, Tats appreciates ICS global network with meeting Salem Almarri(ICS 2007, left). Shin Feei Siow (Shin Feei) Class of 2006 Head of Legal, J.P. Morgan Malaysia, J.P. Morgan Originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Currently living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Shin Feei is the head of legal for the J.P. Morgan entities in Malaysia since In this role, she is responsible for the overall legal affairs of J.P. Morgan Malaysia. Shin Feei is qualified as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia. Shin Feei received a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Monash University, Australia and an MBA from Hitotsubashi University ICS, Japan. Kunshan Cai (Vincent) Class of 2011 General Manager, Agricultural Bank of China Originally from Shanghai, China Currently living in Shanghai, China Kunshan Cai is the General Manager of Operations and Administration Division, Private Banking Department, Agricultural Bank of China (ABC). He joined ABC Shenzhen Branch, in 2000, after graduating from Beihang University. In 2009, he was transferred to Shanghai by the Agricultural Bank Head Office to organize and launch its own private banking service. Prior to his study at ICS as a YLPer, he was appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Marketing Division. After graduating ICS in 2012, he returned to the Private Banking Department, in charge of marketing, and then was appointed as General Manager of Operations and Administration. ABC is one of the major integrated financial service providers in China, with over 23,000 domestic branch outlets and over 480,000 employees, ranking No. 47 in Fortune's Global 500, and No. 9 in The Banker's "Top 1000 World Banks" in terms of tier 1 capital in

Korver 17:00 Informal Reception with Alumni Panelists (7 th Floor Open Area) DESCRIPTION Knowledge Week begins with the Distinguished Alumni Panel Day in which students have the opportunity to interact with ICS alumni. During the day, students hear about the alumni s experiences post graduation, including descriptions of how their studies at ICS have benefited them professionally and personally, and what lessons they would like to share with current students. In the small group sessions, students can enjoy a closer dialogue with individual alumni, and are free to ask questions in a more intimate setting. The Day closes with an informal reception, offering students another opportunity to speak with their sempai who were themselves ICS students not too long ago. 5
