1 2016 FWA Pacesetters AMY HERTENSTEIN Vice President, Equity Capital Markets, Investment and Corporate Banking BMO Capital Markets Inspired by a mother working in finance and buoyed by attending an all girls school, Amy understood early on the significant contributions women can and do make in business. Armed with this understanding and the confidence it gave her, Amy pursued a career in finance and has been making her mark in a highly competitive environment. To pay it forward, Amy has spoken on numerous career related panels, mentored junior women and served as a role model. As the Co Head of the Barnard Recruiting Team she has attracted and recruited students, participated in their Finance Day and motivated young women to pursue careers in finance. In addition, Amy serves on the Junior Board for Project Renewal, a non profit that provides health and housing work services to New York City s homeless. CLAIRE SIEUZAC Global Markets BNP Paribas claire.sieuzac@us.bnpparibas.com Claire co founded and co chairs the BNP Paribas Americas Microfinance Business Networking group, which focuses on both microfinance awareness and employee engagement by creating teams that volunteer partnerships with major microfinance institutions. She co leads its Executive Committee and has built a strong volunteer platform that actively engages close to 200 employees. Claire is passionate about innovation and is committed to exploring new ventures and new projects, which serves her well as a member of the Innovation Board. In addition, Claire participates in the HR Career Development Program as a career advisor to junior professionals.

2 JAMILYNN CIMINO Vice President Sales/Relationship Manager Pershing Prime Services BNY Mellon JamiLynn co founded and co leads Pershing s Millennial Program named Connect, a strategic initiative designed to leverage Generation Y talent to help shape Pershing s future direction and position it for continued success. Connect reaches over 300 millennials across the firm. JamiLynn s leadership led to the development and implementation of a Reverse Mentoring Program and a Business Unit Ambassador Program, among other projects. She has worked in both Global Client Relationships and Pershing Prime Services and has gained invaluable experience in two vastly different, diverse, and complex client bases, all of which have contributed to her success. For year end 2015, she was the top revenue generating sales person in Pershing Prime Services. TANNISHA TROTMAN Manager Strategy and Operations Deloitte & Touche LLP ttroutman@deloitte.com Tannisha has been influenced by two female partners in her firm who successfully balance the demands of being exceptional professionals. committed mothers, and community volunteers and has recognized that these are not mutually exclusive. These role models have been inspirational to her as she navigates her professional and personal life. Tannisha is an avid supporter of Junior Achievement of NJ (JANJ) where she leads her team s efforts in fundraiser also volunteers as a teacher in a variety of their programs. She has also volunteered for the Women s Future Leadership Forum in which New Jersey high school girls learn from today s generation of women s leadership. Valuing both education and financial literacy it is important to Tannisha to give back to others. In addition, Tannisha is the proud mother of three extraordinary young men. SHERRY WANG Vice President Urban Investment Group GS Bank Goldman Sachs sherry.wang@gs.com Sherry was drawn to social impact investing because she recognized how positive social change could be created through smart financial investments. Leveraging her expertise in investment banking and capital markets, as part of the Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group she has helped grow a small investing platform into a $4 billion portfolio of direct investments. Sherry is active in her company s women s network and in 2015 moderated a panel for associates on Create Your Credentials as a Leader and Leave Your Mark. She recognizes the importance of being a role model and takes it seriously. Outside the company, Sherry sits on the boards for McCormack Baron Salazar, Enterprise Community Partners and Glass Roots.

3 PREETI NARAYAN Assistant Vice President & Senior Counsel Corporate Transactions and Advisory The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America Preeti is passionate about the empowerment and advancement of women. She has been active in a Lean In circle and has experienced first hand the power of women supporting other women. When Guardian launched its Diversity and Inclusion Council, Preeti was selected to be a member; she was instrumental in expanding the Lean In initiative to make it a company wide resource group. In addition, she was involved in the launch of Guardian s Women Leadership Network. As a leader, Preeti recognizes her role in shaping company culture and developing the next generation of women leaders. Given her role as counsel to Data Telesis, an India based company that Guardian acquired, she also has been able to impact progressive change for women in India. YAI VARGAS National Marketing Manager Latino Market New York Life Insurance Company yaindhy_vargas@newyorklife.com Leveraging her involvement as a member of New York Life s The Women s Initiative, Yai started an external group for women called Latinista, a meet up group dedicated to the personal and professional advancement of Latinas. This group grew to 450 members in New York and has branched out to Miami with 300 members and Seattle with 100 members strong. As a key member of New York Life s Latino Employee Resource Group, Yai works with the National 4 H Council s Juntos Program, which supports economically disadvantaged Latino students. Yai is a passionate supporter of providing financial education to members of her community and finds it rewarding to see others experience the rewards of financial freedom. SMRITI KODANDAPANI Associate Corporate Department Proskauer Rose LLP skodandapani@proskauer.com Smriti works on matters related to hedge funds, funds of funds and other private investment funds, and is committed to the advancement of women in the legal community. She is a member of the Proskauer Women s Alliance (PWA) Steering Committee and has served as the Welcome Committee co head, raising awareness of the PWA s efforts among summer and lateral associates. She serves as the recruiting liaison and coordinates with the legal hiring department to support the recruitment and retention of strong female talent. Smriti has moderated a panel for PWA s Building Blocks for Success series, and is a participant in Proskauer s Women s Sponsorship Program.

4 JAMILA HOUSER Prudential Mortgage Capital Company Prudential Career inspiration comes from many different sources. In Jamila s case, it was woodworking courses and renovating historic homes, which led to her career in commercial real estate. In addition to underwriting credit risk for multifamily assets for Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, she is committed to drawing more women and more women of color into the industry. Others are drawn to Jamila given her leadership abilities, impact on junior professionals and commitment to developing talent. Jamila recently attended the Women s Forum and the MBA Diversity Conference, at which she addressed the forum to share her authentic leadership. TAISHA WALKER Manager Assurance, Insurance PwC taisha.m.walker@pwc.com Community service and giving back are hallmarks of Taisha s personality. As an active supporter of PwC s diversity efforts, Taisha is a leader of the Black Inclusion Network, a member of the Women s Network and, in 2016, she became a Diversity Committee leader. Taisha also has been engaged in the Earn Your Future program, which teaches financial literacy to students in middle school and high school. Based on her contributions, she was selected to teach a week long financial literacy course in Belize. She also has participated in a volunteer tax preparation program for low income families. Taisha serves on the Executive Board for the National Association of Black Accountants (New York Chapter) and represents PwC at the NABA annual convention. MICHELLE CARROLL Global Investment Banking RBC Capital Markets michelle.carroll@rbccm.com During Michelle s tenure of more than 11 years as a banker at RBC, she has been a leader on the company s Campus Recruiting Committee and has played an active role in diversity recruiting focusing on women, underrepresented minorities and the LGBT community. In 2015 she led RBC s inaugural MBA Women s Immersion Program, which gave prospective female bankers an inside view of investment banking and exposure to RBC senior management. Michelle s strong diversity recruiting track record contributed to her appointment to a newly created role designed, among other things, to leverage her accomplishments and to support the Global Investment Bank s talent management strategy.

5 ELEANORA GLILOVA Global Private Markets Investment Management TIAA In college Eleanora benefited from the wisdom and guidance of a mentor who encouraged her to take finance courses. In addition, she learned about the various facets of finance from him. She landed several internships in the industry throughout her freshman and sophomore years. In her junior year she was accepted into a rotational summer internship program at TIAA which resulted in a full time job offer. Over her subsequent nine plus years at TIAA has had several different assignments which have broadened her skill set and exposure. Today she is on the Credit Tenant Loan team and, as a director, is responsible for making investment decisions. Eleonora is also involved in TIAA s Women of Asset Management (WAM) program which has proven to be an important networking tool for her. She is also a CFA Chartholder.) BONNIE PARK Executive Financial Planning UBS Financial Services Inc. bonnie.park@ubs.com Bonnie participated in Forward, UBS s sponsorship program for women that not only supports the development of women but also actively encourages participants to pay it forward and support the development of others. By doing so, Bonnie has assisted in building a culture that supports the development and advancement of women. She also has been a participant in the UBS All Bar None Network, a formal network to engage, educate and empower employees to promote the professional network of UBS women. In 2015 Bonnie managed the successful re launch of UBS s high net worth financial planning platform.
