1 Freezer Mates Hi everyone, I want to thank you all for coming here today. I am so excited to be here. Are you all excited to be here? Before I get started with my demo I d like to tell you about myself and the wonderful company that I represent. My name is ; I have been with Tupperware for, (other stuff about your and your family). And I absolutely love my job because it allows me to be stay at home with my children while I can still enjoy a very rewarding career. Now, Tupperware has been around for more than 60+ years and we re sold in over 100 countries all over the world. So you can go just about anywhere and say Tupperware and people will know what you mean. Now I found when mention Tupperware there s usually one word people think of and that word is value. And you know we really do offer an extraordinary value to our customers for 3 reasons. 1) Is because of it s superior award winning design 2) Is because of the function and versatility of all of our products they always do what we say the will do and them some. 3) Probably the most important reason is because of our quality. So having said that I d like to move along to our demonstration. I m going to be showing you Tupperware freezer mates today. By the end of the demonstration you ll see how you ll save money and aggravation by using these products as a system every single day in your home. And because you will be using them every single day in your home they will never take up any storage space in your kitchen cupboards. Does that sound good? Ok let s get started! The first thing I m going to explain is the shapes and sizes of these containers. Now they come in 4 basic shapes and they re named for how long they are around not how deep they are. So we have mini, small, medium and large. And now you ll see as I put them on the counter top that even though they are 4 different shapes they re all exactly the same height. These are the heights of our ones. I have the same 4 different shapes but these are deeper and these are our 2 s. Now everybody knows what happens when you add 1+1 you get 2, so you can take one of these freezer mates 1 s on top of another 1 and you will get the exact same height as a 2, isn t that easy? Now I have a question for you. How many of you have ever opened up the freezer door and had something roll out on your foot? Ever had that happen? (Raise your hand and nod your head) Isn t that exciting? It s usually when you have just one nerve left isn t it? Well, you re never going to have to worry about that again when you re using your freezer mates because they stack so beautifully. As you can see I m putting a large on top of a large and that fits perfectly. On top of our large containers you can fit 2 mediums, on

2 top of our medium container you can fit 2 small. Therefore on top of our large container you can fit 4 small. It s also important to know that on top of our small container you can always fit 2 minis. OK, so isn t that nice how they stack? Now I ll put this back over here. Now look at all the containers I have in such a small compact space. Isn t that great? Tupperware designed these to maximize the space that you have in your freezer. And you will find that as you use these in your home as opposed to all the miss matched boxes, bags and packages, you will almost double your storage space of your freezer. Another thing I want you to notice as I hold these up, can you see the air going inbetween the container, and can you see that? There s light going between them and that s so important because Tupperware designed these with rounded corners and made them with 4 little feet on the bottom and this allows for 6 sided airflow. This airflow is important for maintaining the integrity of your food. Your food will freeze quickly and it will freeze evenly. You may already know this but your food bill is probably the second highest bill you have every month. It s right up there after you re rent or mortgage. You really want to protect that investment by using your Tupperware Freezer Mates. They are also airtight and they are designed with the optimum wall thickness protecting your food. They have flat seals, which make them easy to slide in and out of your freezer. Nice tabs so they re easy to open now when you remove a seal. Please lift up on all 4 corners and then remove your seal. Do you remember when I said optimum wall thickness? Look at this; do you see how flexible this is? It will protect your food but it will still remain flexible. When you food is frozen rock solid hard you can pop it right out. Any of you ever banged a container on the counter or took a knife at it to get the food out? You will never have to do that again. Another wonderful feature is the windows. Can you see back here, you can see through the container? How many of you have UFO s at home, anyone here? You might know them as Unidentified Frozen Objects! They re wrapped in foil in the back of the freezer, you never eat them but you don t throw them away either. With our windows you won t have that worry anymore. So now that I have shown you the features and benefits, let s talk about some of the food that you can be freezing inside your Tupperware Freezer mates. We re going to do basics today, vegetable and uncooked meats. At a future demonstration we can do more advanced freezer tips. (See the freezer charts) Let s start with vegetables. How many of you buy the 16 oz poly bogs of corn, peas, green beans, anyone here? Do you realize you can fit the entire bag inside one of these small 2 s? Isn t that amazing? Have any of you had a half opened bag fall open in the freezer and then later you re chipping peas off the bottom of the freezer, never again.

3 If you have a smaller family say 2-3 people, you may chose to split the vegetables up immediately. Put half into a small 1 and the other half in another small 1. That s one perfect meal. So won t that make meal preparation just a little bit easier for you? How about ground beef? Do any of you buy the large family size packages? You can get such a great bargain on them. And when you bring it home you usually want to split that into smaller packages for freezing, right? Typically it s a pound because that is what most recipes call for. Just eyeball your package and divide it in 1 pound parts. You don t have to worry about that anymore. All you have to do is put your ground beef loosely packed into the small 2 container with an inch of the top and you ll have a pound perfectly every single time. Now how about frozen potatoes? Do any of you ever purchase French fries, tatter tots, hash browns, etc? The entire bag will fit in our medium 2 container. One thing about potatoes is that they are very absorbent. They will pick up odors and flavors from foods in your refrigerator and freezer if they are not wrapped properly. So putting them in Tupperware Freezer mates will help keep your French fries tasting as good as your first one. Another thing about freezing. Have you ever opened up a package and seen frost all over the top of your food? You may not realize this but that s actually condensation and bacteria. Now when you open up the Tupperware Freezer mates the frost will not be all over your feed but on the inside of your seal. Just take your seal over to the sink, wash it off and it is gone. Let s talk more about meat! Do any of you like to bar-be-cue? I have some great ideas for you. This medium 1 is wonderful for a sirloin steak. You can put it in here but how about another great money saving idea. If you like shiscabob you can make it so inexpensively. Instead of purchasing the stores very expensive packages they ve put together already. Just purchase a very inexpensive stew beef, coat it with Italian dressing and put into your Tupperware Freezer mate. As it s freezing it s going to marinade. The day you want to have it for dinner take it our and put it in the refrigerator, it will marinade more. So by the time you have dinner it s nice and juicy, tender and delicious. Our large 1 is great if you have a bigger family or expecting a company. You can fit a couple of steaks; lots of shicabobs or chicken legs after you have coated them with barbe-cue sauce or maybe teriyaki. Have another one you will just love! You will love this container in your home! How many of you have every purchased the large family size package of chops, steaks or boneless chicken? You bring them home and probably do what I used to do. You don t want to put the entire package in the freezer cause you will have one big chicken pop sickle. So you stand there and wrap every single piece! And aren t those the missiles that end up landing on your feet later? Then you have to keep track of how many you have. You can use our large Freezer Mate container and save you time, money and aggravation.

4 When you get home from the grocery store take out a cookie sheet, put the pieces on it so they don t touch, put it in the freezer and you can walk away. It is what we call flash freezing. You can go play a game with your kids, watch TV, and talk on the phone, walk or anything else you like. After about half an hour comeback and take the cookie sheet out of the freezer, you ll find the chicken is firm to the touch. Take your chicken and put it right in your Freezer Mate large 2 container. You will not need any paper, foil, plastic to separate it. And when you get your chicken, chops, steaks you can grab just what you need. Isn t that great, aren t you glad you came? The average family spends hundreds of dollars on food wrap annually. For less than the cost of all that stuff that goes into our landfill. For less than the cost of that you can buy an entire set of Freezer Mates and you will save money! Now for our mini s. These are wonderful because you can line them all right up in the door of your freezer. And because they are small they have so many uses, you will want a few sets of them. Before I get to the freezer let me give you a couple ideas in other areas of your life. For traveling this is the best little soap dish, it won t leak all over your clothes. It s also wonderful for children s lunches with carrot sticks, celery sticks, brownies or a couple cookies. In the baby bag to hold Q-tips. An emergency kit for the car, you can put in a few band-aids with some antibiotic ointment and slip it into the glove box. Sewing kit for those unexpected times. Have cheerleaders use it for the hair ties. Now for your freezer, how many of you might have a little bit of left over ham, or some cold cut after a party. How about left over cheese and you say to yourself do I throw it out now and cut out the middle man or do I put it in the refrigerator? Of course, you throw it out in a week. Instead store them in your freezer mates depending on how much you have left over. Keep these right in the door of your freezer and then the next time you go to make home made pizza, omelets or baked potatoes you ll have all kids of toppings, on hand. My last idea for the mini s is this mini 2. You are going to love this idea especially for those of you who work the 9-5 jobs; I know how busy you are. You probably go grocery shopping on the weekends and that s when you buy bananas right? Doesn t it seem like bananas always go bad on Wednesday? Who wants to make banana bread on Wednesday? Instead you can freeze your bananas when they start to turn brown. This container will hold up to 3 smashed bananas. So if you have 1 left over smash it up put it in the bottom, then you can add more later or put three in at the same time. The next rainy day you feel like baking you will have your 3 smashed bananas for your bread. Do you remember what I said at the beginning of the demonstration when I said you re going to be using these every single day, they will never take up any storage space in your kitchen cupboard? This is the idea that s going to make all the difference for you in how much you use them. As you can see I have the smallest on the bottom and the largest on top. I know it s a little bit different than what you see in the catalog but please just trust me for a moment. Cause this really works. You see this large container is going to be filled with your meats; it s going to be heavy. So you want to make it easy to take in and out of your freezer. When you want to get at those vegetables or the ground beef you

5 can pull it right out (TADA)! No major collapse, isn t that exciting? After you ve washed your container please, don t put this in your cupboards. Cause if your house is anything like mine the seal will go one place and the bottom will go another, the two will never meet. Somewhere along the way you will end up using the Freezer mates to store screws, nails, Barbie shoes or hair stuff, just to name a few things! So here is a great tip, fill the container back up with water up to an inch from the top and put it back in that hole where it came from. This will do two things; first you will have them ready to go (just dump the frozen water) when you are ready to put away your food. It s also going to help save money on your electric bill. You might not realize this but a full freezer runs a lot more efficiently than an empty one. And who knows the next time you go to the beach, camping or a day trip that you won t need a chunk of frozen ice to keep your food cold. One last helpful tip is how to know what date you should use the food in your Freezer mate containers. Use painters tape and mark the month in which you need to use the food; also you can note what it is for quick identification. I can also supply a safe chart for freezing upon request.
