5 GENZ BENZ Acoustic Amplifiers SHENANDOAH Acoustic Pro Since the introduction of the first GENZ BENZ Shenandoah Acoustic amp a few years ago, they have gained immediate notoriety and praise for their thoughtful design, full-feature set and warm, rich reproduction of acoustic guitars and other acoustic instruments. Today, we have expanded that original Shenandoah signature acoustic tone into a broad series of acoustic amps with power and features for a variety of playing styles and venues. The Shenandoah Acoustic amp line now encompasses five models, each with its own unique design and features. This, along with our growing roster of endorsers, positions GENZ BENZ as the leader in the acoustic amp market. We have taken the initiative in the design of the Shenandoah Acoustic Pro to include a 12AX7 tube to the preamp, which enhances the acoustic guitar s timbre with the tonal characteristics, warmth and compression of the tube but without distortion when driven hard. This innovation is combined with a highly efficient and lightweight 300-watt Neodymium 12" loudspeaker, chosen for its articulate full-bodied response and unique tonal characteristics. The power amp platform is a stout 200 watts RMS that provides tremendous headroom for full-bodied, clean tone and the foundation for the high-level output of this professional acoustic tool. The cabinet is strong, yet lightweight and constructed from Baltic birch plywood. The cabinet is rear ported and utilizes a bottom-mounted tiltback handle that will angle the amp up towards the performer. Along with the tube preamp feature, the SHEN-PRO offers two identical channels, each with an XLR and ¼" input, 3-band EQ with sweepable mid-range and a separate Alesis digital effects processor for each channel. Each DSP offers 15 studio quality programs for complete flexibility. GNX NEODYMIUM LOUDSPEAKERS Our custom-designed 12" Neodymium loudspeaker is rated at 300 watts RMS and utilizes a 2½" aluminum edge-wound high temperature voice coil. The combination of this highly efficient, lightweight speaker and its unique clarity and response characterisics make it an excellent transducer for acoustic guitar amplification. 6 SHENANDOAH 200 The Shenandoah Stereo Delux 200 has been designed as the most full-featured professional acoustic amp available able to reproduce the warm, natural, distinctive tones of acoustic instruments, even at high output levels. The stereo 200-watt design provides incredible headroom and is capable of continuous high-level dynamic output for the club or concert stage. The stereo amp design and Flexed speaker baffle work together to better project the rich, detailed stereo programs of the two onboard Alesis Digital Effects processors. Both DSP s can be assigned to operate on the same or individual channels and can be turned on and off by the footswitch (included). SHEN-200-EXT-L/R We offer a pair of compact extension speakers that provide a wider Stereo image for the Shenandoah Stereo Delux 200. These extension cabinets are available in matched Left/Right pairs and are designed to be speaker stand mounted or set underneath the combo for the ultimate acoustic half-stack!! The speaker configurations are the same 10" loudspeaker and compression tweeter as each side of the Shenandoah Stereo Delux 200. 7 SHENANDOAH 100 The Shenandoah 100 is the latest rendition of the original Shenandoah Acoustic amplifier. This model is world-renowned for its warm and woody tone and unmatched versatility. The SHEN-100 offers two identical channels with XLR and ¼" inputs that mix together in the signal chain. Each channel has a 3-band EQ with sweepable mid-range flexibility. The SHEN-100 was the first acoustic amp on the market with two mic inputs, digital effects and a complement of 3 XLR direct outputs designed to offer exceptional flexibility in many performance venues. The power amp delivers 100 watts at full power and is designed to power an external 8 ohm speaker cabinet as well. Offering huge output, exceptional tone and professional features, this model is further enhanced by the onboard 24-bit Alesis digital effects processor that produces studio-quality lush reverbs, delays and chorus effects. SHEN-100-EXT12 This extension cabinet transforms the SHEN-100 combo into a powerful acoustic sound reinforcement system. It features the same speaker configuration as the SHEN-100 and has a bottom-mounted stand adapter and tilt-back handle. 8 SHENANDOAH 60 This model is just as compact as the Shenandoah Jr. but offers an expanded preamp section, stereo output and digital effects. Though small in size, the Shenandoah Stereo 60 pumps out 60 watts of power and projects warm, articulate tone from its dual 6½" speakers and studio-quality lush stereo Alesis digital effects processor with 16 preset programs. The preamp has two separate channels, each with a 3-band EQ with sweepable mid-range for flexible control of possible offending frequencies. The preamp offers one XLR mic input (with phantom power) and two ¼" instrument inputs which mix together for additional versatility for use with multiple players. The rear panel offers a Left and Right XLR Direct output and a headphone jack with a speaker on/off switch. ACOUSTIC AMPLIFICATION The cabinet design incorporates a stage monitor shape for added flexibility during performances. This shape allows the amp to sit upright or tilt back at a 30-degree angle and also enhances the tone of the amp. Tilting the cabinet back helps to reduce boomy low frequencies and augments the projection of the mid frequencies. All in all, the Shenandoah Stereo 60 will serve as a reliable and valuable tool for the professional or hobbyist performer. The smallest of our Shenandoah models, the Jr. is a 35-watt little dynamo that offers many of the signature features of our larger models. This compact affordable package is ideal for many small to medium venues. The versatility of this unit is enhanced by its two-channel design, including three inputs, global 3-band active EQ with variable mid frequency control and a powerful 10" speaker, enhanced by a compression bullet tweeter. An Alesis digital effects processor provides studio-quality effects that enhance the beautiful, rich response of this combo. A bottom-mounted handle is provided so that the Shenandoah Jr. can be tipped up towards the performer for better monitoring projection.
