This is for your eyes only. How To Best Use This Cheat-Sheet It is impossible to go EXACTLY step-by-step with anything in business. For example, you might have two things being done at the same time, or you might get your designs back before the copywriting, etc. There is no set in stone, by the book, step by step in existence. Use this as a guide or checklist on what you should get done and completed. It s important to understand that the difference between those who succeed and earn big money and the HUGE MAJORITY who fail, is purely Implementation! Most people stop short of finishing anything. They get going down a certain path and then they stop and quit, and move on to something else to chase. They lose confidence that this system will actually work. They lose faith and certainty. Life gets in the way and before you know it, 1 month turned into a year and nothing was completed. The key is to keep faith and keep tweaking it, and keep moving forward and improving on each step and piece of the system. For example, you might get a squeeze page up and online and functional and that s a great accomplishment, but that thing needs to convert! You can always make that squeeze page convert better and better over time through sticking to it and tweaking as you go, keeping the faith!

3 I cannot stress enough the importance of completing the steps and continuing to tweak and tweak until results are huge and money is flooding in. Go through each step and ask yourself, Did I get this completed yet? If your answer is no, then it s highly likely that you are not making any money. For example, do you have a squeeze page that is active and functional and getting traffic? If your answer is no then I m 98% sure you are not making any money online. If there is any area that you do not understand about this cheat-sheet, then be sure and get the answers to your questions and master this cheat-sheet so you know it top to bottom like the back of your hand. For example, if you don t know what split testing means, then be sure and put the responsibilities on your own shoulders to go figure out what split testing means. Ask questions, research, Google it, do whatever is necessary to master each step and know each step well. I believe if you follow these steps, you will make money. However, here s the biggest advice of all it s not good enough to simply follow the steps. You must do each step very well. For example, anyone can get a squeeze page up and online, but how good is that squeeze page? Anyone can get their own product by going and buying some PLR product, but it is any good? Get an A+ on each and every step and do very well at each step. Just tossing stuff up and online in a half-ass manner will not generate solid results. It must be done well! VERY WELL! If you can do the steps VERY well, then it s easy to succeed. Lastly, keep in mind this is a business and nobody will ever do it all for you. Own your own business here and make sure and get after it and MAKE it succeed!

4 The Four Pillars Of Online Success The 4 Main Steps First, before we get into the cheat sheet list, I want you to know that there are four main areas or main steps to focus on for earning money online. Pillar Number One Is Conversions! If you cannot convert traffic into customers, then this entire business will be difficult. If your sales copy or copywriting is not very compelling, then everything else will be difficult. This is the cornerstone of making money online. You must make sure you get a B, or B+, A or even A+ on your conversions. If you are not making money, it s likely because your conversions are not compelling enough to generate money. IF you can convert well, then you can get tons of traffic from all over Internet land. Pillar Number Two Is Traffic! Traffic and conversions go hand and hand. It s these two things that make income. If you can get traffic, you can make money. If you can convert, you can make money. These two pillars are a MUST for making money. All it takes is concentrated effort and focus for these two areas to be well taken care of. Anyone can drive traffic and convert if they focus, focus on it. Unfortunately, most do not focus on these two areas. 90% of your time, energy and effort should be on traffic and conversions. Not the other way around. The two best ways to get traffic are: 1. Paid traffic (advertising) 2. Affiliates promoting for you

5 I m not big on SEO unless you are a local small company. Social media and the rest are great for branding and positioning and can be good for traffic too. But, you can control paid traffic and affiliates. Pillar Number Three: The third pillar is technical. Most people are not tech people and this can cripple them from succeeding for years. If they cannot master this pillar, then many never get any results. If you know you are not good at tech stuff, then you need to get this covered or success will escape your grasp. There are only 2 things you can do: 1. Get someone else to do it 2. Learn it yourself Pick one from above and get after it. Realize, most let this barrier prevent them from succeeding for many years if ever. These days, you can get anyone to do tech stuff for you for very cheap so really there s no excuse. Get it done! Pillar Number Four! The last main pillar here is content or products. Content is king online and most miss the boat here too. They constantly look for the path of least resistance and they never get any good at content. Think about yourself for a second. You buy a book and the book is terrible, will you buy anything else from that author? What if you watch a video by some expert and the video is terrible and the content is worse. Would you click to see more of that person s videos? If you read a blog post and it s of no value, will you follow that person? Now flip it, let s say you find someone who has tremendous content and you get so much value out of it, you want more and more right?

6 I mean, you ll research that person and watch every video and read every post you can find put out by that person, right? You ll become a fan. And, you ll be 100x more likely to spend good money with that person. However, most marketers online look for crappy PLR products and crappy articles and so on. They get a F on content and then wonder where the money is hiding. I ve heard all the excuses over the years such as, I m not good at content creation. I m not a writer. I m not a speaker. I hate doing videos. I cannot do webinars or public speaking. I don t like attention because I m shy and so on. Well, then maybe this type of business is not for them? Content is needed and pretty much required. I was not a public speaker. I am not a pro writer. I am shy in front of groups. I hate doing videos. But I get it done. It s a business. However, the good news really is you do not have to be good at any of those things and you don t have to be good at creating content. You can do one of the following: 1. Pay someone who is good at content to do it for you 2. Partner up with someone who is good at content to do for you and you do other stuff that person is not good at. 3. Buy quality content others create. Again, all of this can be done if you pay for it or get others to do it for you. Lastly, people always react the same way to these main points. If they are not good at content, I tell them to go pay someone else to do it then. If they are not good at copywriting, I say go pay someone else to do it then. if they are not good at tech, I say to go pay someone else to do it for them then And they respond by saying what?

7 But, But, Eric what if I cannot afford to pay these people to do these things for me? And I say (with tough love): Then learn it yourself and master it yourself There are only 3 things you can do to get these things done: 1. Do it yourself 2. Pay someone else to do it for you 3. Partner up with someone to do it for you That s it. If none of those above are an option, then this entire business might not be for you in my honest, tough love, opinion. I know that ruffles some feathers, but that is my point. The point is to snap-out of the barriers and start getting things done by facing reality. Ask yourself right now the following questions and be brutally honest with yourself: The ONLY answer is yes or no, not maybe: 1. Are you good at creating content (yes or no)? 2. Are you good at technical stuff (yes or no)? 3. Are you good at copywriting (yes or no)? 4. Are you good at traffic (yes or no)? That should give you a solid answer to where you are on the scale of making real money online. Get these 4 areas covered and done well, and earning money is easy as pie! Last question: What are you going to do about the areas you are not good at?

8 The Fifth Pillar The Real Secret To Success After 10 years of coaching people to make money online, I have come to the final conclusion that the number one secret to success is: Courage! Most people refrain from succeeding because of fears. They just don t realize its fear based. They do not take action because of fear of the unknown. They do not complete anything because of fears. They are not confident which leads to being fearful. They look for quick-fixes to make themselves FEEL better but that does not make money. They buy quick hits of hope to feel better, but that does not make money. What will make money is sales. It s trading value for money. It s all about math. It s traffic and conversions. However, most people screw the numbers all up because of their emotions (fears). The fears get in the way. The lack of faith screws things up. Their lack of confidence screws everything up. Their self-sabotage screws it all up. Most people have learned plenty of ways to make real money online, they just never get any results because they are not courageous enough to FINISH anything or stick to anything. Why else would people be in this business for 5, 6, 10 years and never make any real money? It s them! It s their mindset. It s their fears! Therefore, no cheat-sheet, no step by step, no course, no workshop, and no system will ever work if your mindset is not right. I d say that if you have been at this (seriously at this) for a year or more and have not earned any real money, then I d put a lot of focus on your mindset and confidence. Invest in transforming your mindset.

9 THE CHEAT-SHEET! Each step could be an entire home study course in itself. Remember, this is a cheat-sheet. Entire courses are created on just step one. Here are the steps: 1. Step one is to pick a niche market that is big enough and lucrative enough. 2. Step two is to find a problem to solve in that niche market. 3. Step three is to set up a squeeze page that gives something valuable away for free, like a teaser report or audios or videos or a mini-course, or a webinar, etc. a. Give something valuable away that is good solid content people will love. Give the content away to build up a list of targeted subscribers who all have that problem you are looking to help them solve. b. Later, when you have products to sell, advertise these products inside your free stuff (like your reports or audios) 4. Step four is to find 3-5 different affiliate products you can promote to these subscribers as an affiliate and earn commissions. a. Instead of affiliate offers, these can be your own offers/products. 5. Step five is to really get behind these affiliate products (or your own products) and promote, promote, promote the heck out of these products to your subscribers and the marketplace a. Promote every day b. Promote to your subscribers via s you send out to your list c. Promote on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media platforms. Just Sell Baby! Keep selling every day. d. Promote via paid traffic through Facebook or Adwords or direct mail, etc. e. Do webinars or tele-seminars and promote that way too.

10 f. If you have your own products, recruit affiliates to promote for you. g. Be everywhere! Flood the marketplace with your content, offers, promotions, tips, advice, presentations, videos, etc. 6. Step Six is to focus on traffic and conversions a. Dial-in your traffic by laser focusing on it and tweaking your advertisements, keywords, bids and so on. This requires tweaking. b. Dial-in your copywriting and conversions and tweak your sales copy so it converts higher and higher. c. Dial-in your auto-responder s so they are captivating, engaging and getting opens and response. Tweak these s until they are working very well. 7. Split test your landing pages, offers, ads, everything! a. A-B split test your squeeze page and try to beat the control. This is never ending. You always want to try to beat your conversions as time goes on. Try new landing pages and copy ongoing. b. A-B split test the offers you promote. Find the one s that convert the best and hammer-promote those! c. A-B split test your advertising. d. A-B split test your prices. Higher prices can make you more money. More people might buy if it s higher in priced because they believe it more. Raise your prices, lower them, try different specials or discounts. 8. Add continuity to your business by creating ongoing residual membership sites or programs that autocharge customers monthly a. Create a membership site that charges people monthly. b. Create a club or a service that charges people ongoing. c. Promote this offer heavily with everything you do. 9. Add high-ticket offers to your business, such as home study courses or workshops, or done-for-you services, coaching, etc. a. These high-ticket offers can earn you a ton of money if done right. This can change your life. b. For some of my clients, I skip everything above and go straight for developing high ticket offers. Why not start at the top? High-ticket

11 offers are where the real money is found. Memberships and high ticket offers have made 80-90% of the millions I ve generated online. 10. Build relationships with other high-caliber people a. This is in here because it s so lucrative! Everyone I know who generates big money has go-to people and mentors and masterminds they are involved in. b. Actively put in the effort to build key relationships, they will pay off big time! 11. Focus on selling. Once you have a system set up like a squeeze page and your own products and offers, then focus all your time on selling. Get your business to where you CAN focus all on selling. You want to put the major amount of your time and effort on traffic and conversions and outsource or hire people to cover the rest. If you do coaching then sure, you have to do that as well (time and effort wise) but other than that, you should be putting your major emphasis on selling. a. If you are not making six figures online yet, then you need to get your business system to the point where you can focus 90% of your time on sales. IF YOU ARE MAKING LESS THAN A MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR IN BUSINESS, THEN YOU NEED TO SPEND UP TO 90% OF YOUR TIME AND ENERGY ON SALES, PERIOD! Above, in this cheat-sheet, are the steps to earn a sixfigure income or even a seven-figure income. If you follow those steps and stick to them, and master them, then achievement will surely follow. However, there s one MAJOR part of this game that % of people miss and that is sales.

12 Most people refrain from selling. They do not like sales and do not want to be considered pushy. Let s be real, most people hate selling. However, that s where the money is at and if you want to make a bunch of money, you need to get good at sales. Scratch that, you need to become a master at sales! I know a lot of people would debate me on that, however, it s true. Your ability to influence, persuade and sell will dictate how high you reach. One thing I tell my small business clients is that I don t care what kind of business they are in. Whatever it is they do, it s a sales and marketing business period. You say you re a dentist? No, you are a marketing and sales company and your product is teeth/dentistry. You say you are an attorney? No, you are a marketing & sales company that sells law. You are a chiropractor? No, you are a sales company that cracks backs! When it comes down to it, making money is selling. Donald Trump is a great salesperson. Oprah is a masterful persuader and influencer (salesperson!). Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Obama, Bush, any politician that walks the planet, all of them are persuaders, salespeople, marketers and influencers. YES, the key to making big money is sales. You should invest in learning what you can about sales and persuasion and copywriting. That s where the money is at. AND, if you are not good at sales, you need to: A) Get good at it B) Find others who are good at it and hire them! If you are not good at sales then you are 95% likely to NOT be good at copywriting or promoting. If you are not good at sales, then that means you are not good at figuring out what the market wants and providing it to them in a compelling way.

13 If you are not good at sales, then you cannot promote effectively, or brand your company (or yourself), or present yourself as an authority, etc. If you are more of a tactical, technical or analytical person, then the very best investment you could ever do is in sales. You could hire a copywriter and that would change your life. If you are not sales oriented then the chips are stacked against you right now and what you need is to get this covered. Get sales covered. Find someone, anyone, who is good at sales, and build your business around them. Outsource this. Get it covered and manage it. It s a prerequisite to earning money. Many do not earn money because they flat hate sales, so they refrain from taking any action. They keep doing things up and until they reach that brick wall and that brick wall is sales! The reason some marketers make tons of money and most others don t is because those who DO earn money have figured out how to sell something effectively. One of the best things you could ever do is invest in 3-5 books on sales or copywriting and read them cover-to-cover. Here are a few books I recommend: Influence By Robert Cialdini The Ultimate Salesletter by Dan Kennedy How To Master The Art Of Sales by Tom Hopkins Ogilvy on Advertising Mail Order! By Eugene Schwartz Million Dollar Mailings by Hatch Scientific Advertising by Claude Hopkins The Boron Letters by Gary Halbert Triggers by Joe Sugarman That should get you going.

14 Here is a Cheat-sheet On selling online! 1. Most people don t make any money because they are not selling anything. Just Sell Baby! 2. Find something you really believe in, and go sell the snot out of it! 3. People buy YOU. They want to buy you. They are buying your brand, reputation, name, what others say about you, your testimonials, etc. 4. Be everywhere. Most people are not buying from you because they don t know you. They don t know you because you are not anywhere to be found. Go be everywhere you can be. Utilize all the resources and platforms out there at your disposal to be everywhere (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) 5. Create your own solutions to problems and go sell the snot out of those solutions. 6. People buy from those they know, like and trust but mostly they buy solutions and desires. 7. They will not buy from you if they don t believe you, so invest in believability factors. Get them to believe you. 8. Put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself what would you buy? 9. Ask yourself why would people NOT buy this? and then address those objections in your sales copy or sales presentations. 10. People, customers, the market will LABEL you based on what you do, what you say, how you conduct yourself and your prices. If you are amongst the cheapest prices in the market, they could end up categorizing you as the least valuable in the market. 11. Positioning is everything. 12. Presentation is everything. 13. It s not who you know, it s who you know and what do they think of you. 14. All little things matter to the herd marketplace out there. 15. Create fans.

15 16. If you say you are an expert, then people will say you are an expert. 17. People buy from authorities. Be an authority figure. Be an expert. 18. People buy enthusiasm. Be enthusiastic about your offers and what you do. 19. People buy you. Be magnetic. Be remarkable. Be interesting. Be captivating. Be different. Be the best version of you. 20. Act as if. If you want to be a millionaire, act like one now. What would a millionaire do? 21. Raise your game. How do you think of yourself? Do you think very highly of yourself? Then others will too. Do you think low of yourself? Others will too. Expect more. 22. Drink your own kool-aid. You need confidence. Nobody will believe you or buy from you or follow you if you are not in love with yourself. LOVE YOURSELF! 23. Provide solid proof. People want proof. Show them proof your products work. The more proof you can provide the more you ll make. 24. Provide a tremendous guarantee if you can, for digital products. 25. Be sharp. People want to buy from those who are sharp when it comes to the solution they are buying. Be bold, stick to your guns, be decisive and be sharp. 26. Be very confident and certain! People buy confidence. They want certainty. Sell them that. Be that. Have no doubts. Know your stuff. 27. People can sense fear or timidity or uncertainty. They can sense your tone and your thoughts. You might say this is a great product but they can sense if it really is a great product or not. Realize your tone and your attitude is shining through even if they cannot see you. 28. Pull take-aways. Tell them this is closing. Tell them if they do not get this they will continue to fail. Tell them they need to take a leap of faith. 29. Indirect selling can sometimes work better than selling. Get them to ask or get them to think about questions or ideas themselves, then they think it s their idea. 30. Promote, promote, promote! Always be selling and promoting, because people need to see something over and over again before it sinks in and they buy. Keep promoting. 31. People are resistant to sales attempts.

16 32. People are not resistant to sales attempts they cannot detect. 33. Listen. Ask people what they truly want and listen. 34. Ask open-ended questions, get them talking. 35. Toot, toot, toot your own horn. Nobody will start tooting your horn until you toot your own horn. 36. Have character. People want leaders to follow and plug into. Be that person and making sales becomes easy. 37. Social Proof is powerful. This is a proof factor, but what the market is saying about you or reviewing your stuff, is paramount to success. They are researching you before they buy. Get testimonials, reviews, videos, social proof out there in the market and get cheerleaders and fans! 38. Build an audience 39. Don t be afraid to give away free valuable content because people will always want more and more! You ll never run out of valuable content. 40. Ask for the sale! Close people. Are you ready to roll with this? Conclusion! You opened up this document to read because you wanted a cheat-sheet to making money online. Here s all you need to make money online: I. You need a lucrative niche market to stick to and attack II. You need a problem to solve that people in that niche market have and desire to solve. III. You need a lead-capture system (squeeze page) so you can capture subscribers onto an subscriber list. a. This squeeze page or system needs to be great so IV. it converts well. You need something valuable to give away free on that squeeze page to turn people on to you! a. This can be a report. V. You need to drive DAILY traffic to that squeeze page through paid traffic like Facebook Ads or Google or through affiliates. VI. You need to stick to that traffic and test it and tweak it to dial-it-in.

17 VII. You need either affiliate products or your own products to sell to that list of subscribers and the marketplace. VIII. You need to focus on conversions (copywriting, split-testing, tweaking, tracking, etc.) IX. You need to create your own products and high ticket offers that are good quality. That s pretty much it. Focus on those things and get them done, but done very well! Any areas that are left confusing for you or unknown, go get all the answers you can find and master each step. All you really need to earn money online is a list of subscribers. Lastly, I d say that 97% fail because of their mindset, not any of these steps. I mean, anyone can get a squeeze page up and online if they really want to, yet after 10 years, most still don t have one and probably never will. Mindset is 97% of what it takes to succeed, period.
