Scenario 1 In the Trash Event: You saw this guy digging through some messy garbage right outside the cafeteria and you thought it was funny. When you told a group of your friends about it someone said that maybe he was looking for dessert...everybody laughed. Later, that same guy came to you and asked if you ve been spreading rumors about him and you said no. He got all mad, walked off and called you a liar. Scenario 2 Playing PS2 Event: Today when you got home from school, your brother was playing his new PS2 game. You get home two full hours after your brother so you thought that it should be your turn to play as soon as you walked in. When you told him to get off because it s your turn he said no which made you so mad that you grabbed the controller out of his hands. You both started to wrestle until your mom came in and turned off the TV. You got even more mad and stormed off to your room. Scenario 3 Hurt Feelings Event: It has been hard to think about school lately since your mom and dad split up and your grades in class have been going down. On yesterday's test you got an F and the guy behind you saw it when the teacher passed them back. He got a D and blames you for rubbing your stupidity on him. You try and ignore it but your feelings are hurt. You called for a Peace table.

What happened: I just told my friends I saw (name) going through the trash and then he calls me a liar. How you feel: Annoyed because I didn t do anything wrong. Why you feel that way: I don t like being accused of spreading rumors or being called a liar. What happened: (Name) would not give me my turn with the PS2 and we got into a fight. How you feel: Mad because now I m in trouble and don t get to play at all today. Why you feel that way: It was my turn to play. He would not share even after 2 hours of playing. What happened: (Name) teased me about my test grade. How you feel: Sad and upset because I m trying my best but it s just so hard to work right now. Why you feel that way: It s none of his business what grade I get and it hurts my feelings.

Scenario 1 In The Trash Event: You accidentally dropped your lunch money in the trash and when you were getting it out, a girl you hardly know walked by and started laughing. efore you could explain, she walked off. Later that day, some other girls started laughing and pointing at you. You heard one of the say I have some dessert I threw away if you want it which really embarrassed you. The next day when you went to the first girl (who had seen you) and asked her if she was spreading rumors she said no but you didn t believe her and walked off calling her a liar. You called for a Peace Table. Scenario 2 Playing PS2 Event: All week you ve been practicing a new PS2 game and you are very excited because now you ve gotten to Level 5. When your sister comes home from school she immediately demands you to get off and let her play. When you say not yet she grabs the controller out of your hands making you lose your place. This means you have to start over at Level 1. You start to fight with her until your mom comes in and shuts off the TV. You ask for a Peace Table Scenario 3 Hurt Feelings Event: You don t like school very much. You ve never been a great student but lately, it s gotten a lot worse. The girl in front of you usually gets good grades and that makes you feel a little stupid. Finally, you see her get an F and want to tease her a little so you say that she must be rubbing off on you.

What happened: I dropped my lunch money in the trash and (name) told everyone I eat from the trash. How you feel: Embarrassed because of what people think and mad because (name) started a rumor. Why you feel that way: I don t like being talked about and teased because of an untrue rumor. What happened: (Name) grabbed the controller from me and I lost my place at Level 5. How you feel: Mad because now I m in trouble with mom and can t play anymore today. Why you feel that way: I worked hard to get that far in the game and now I have to start over. What happened: I teased (name) about her grades and I guess she got mad about it. How you feel: Embarrassed because she took my joking the wrong way. Why you feel that way: It made me feel a little better to know that someone else is having problems.

Scenario 4 Spilled Applesauce Event: Another kid keeps picking on you (name calling & teasing). After a couple weeks he starts pushing you into things like desks and doors and then laughing about it. Yesterday at lunch he took his applesauce and dumped it on your shoulder. At first he acted like it was an accident, then he got mad. You think it was on purpose and that he was just being mean. You asked for a Peace table. Scenario 5 Class Project Event: You and your classmate have to work on a class project together. Your classmate wants you to do the writing part of the report and he ll do the drawing part. You think that is unfair and that he s trying to get out of doing any real work. When you tell him that you do not agree with him, he tells you to forget it and to do it without him. You ask for a Peace Table. Scenario 6 Ruined CD Event: You loaned a music CD to your neighbor when he asked to borrow it overnight. When he returned it, it had a big scratch on it and was ruined. He said it was an accident and that he was sorry. When you told him to replace it, he said that he can t afford it and that since it was not his fault, he should not have to buy another one. You got mad, walked off and called him a Jerk.

What happened: (Name) has been bullying me and now he s dumped food on me in front of everyone. How you feel: Embarrassed and scared because I don t want to fight. Why you feel that way: I didn t do anything to him and I don t like being picked on. What happened: (Name) won t help on the project unless it s his way which means I do all the hard work. How you feel: Frustrated because he will not cooperate unless it s his way which is unfair for me. Why you feel that way: I think it is unfair that I have to do all the writing and all (name) does is draw. What happened: I loaned out my CD to (name) and he ruined it. Now he won t replace it. How you feel: Angry because now I don t have my CD anymore. Why you feel that way: I trusted him and now I don t have my CD anymore.

Scenario 4 Spilled Applesauce Event: One of your classmates has told the teacher that you ve been picking on her...calling you a bully. The other day at lunch you accidentally spilled your applesauce on her. You got a little mad because you lost your dessert. It seemed to scare her. It seems that she is always getting upset at you so it makes it kind of fun for you and your friends to pick on her. Scenario 5 Class Project Event: You and your classmate have to work on a project together. Since the report requires both writing and drawing, you think that you should share the work that way. One person writes and one person draws, that seems fair to you. You think that your handwriting is terrible but you are a pretty good artist. So it makes sense to you to split the work that way. When you suggest that to you partner, she gets all huffy and stops listening. In frustration you tell her to do it herself. Scenario 6 Ruined CD Event: You borrowed your friend s music CD overnight. When you opened it to look at the label, it fell out and was badly scratched...it was ruined. When you returned it the next day, you told her what had happened and that you were sorry but that it was an accident. You told her that you could not afford to replace it and since it wasn t your fault you shouldn t have to buy another one. She called you a Jerk and walked off without even listening to you.

What happened: I accidentally spilled applesauce on (name) and now she accuses me of bullying. How you feel: Worried that I could get into trouble over nothing. Why you feel that way: I don t want to get kicked out of school or have my parents called. What happened: (Name) thinks she should decide who does what on the project, so I quit. How you feel: Frustrated because she is being bossy and she acts like I m just lazy. Why you feel that way: I don t write well but I m a good artist. In my opinion, drawing is harder than writing. What happened: I borrowed a CD from (name) and accidentally dropped it. It was ruined. How you feel: Angry because she called me a Jerk and won t even listen to me explain. Why you feel that way: I have no job or money to replace it, besides it was an accident. I think she should understand.
