1 Overcome Everything Page 1 of 27 Okay. Well, we have a couple of people on the line right now and this is Tellman Kundson and Pat Marcello. What we re actually going to be teaching to here today is about bonus traffic and I have some people live on the line from my Black Diamond Line Inner Circle Coaching program. And they re going to be possibly asking some questions at the end; I m not quite sure, of this training. And what we re going to do is this trainings going to be brought into the Secret 17 Sources of Traffic Package. So really the only people that should be listening to this are Black Diamond Line members or people that own the Secret 17 Sources of Traffic. So what we re going to be teaching you about is bonus traffic, bonus traffic. Pat has a series of questions that she s outlined for me on this and we re going to be teaching you how to use bonuses to immediately get traffic to your Web site and to not only get traffic to your Web site but also turn around and build your list on both in leaps and bounds and with ongoing, consistent list growth using the power of bonuses that is extremely overlooked. Most people just simply don t think about this. So I think this is going to be an incredibly powerful training for everybody and Pat, I d like to go ahead and get an overview of bonus traffic training and then dive into your questions if that works for you? I think that s a great idea. Okay, so basically, what I mean when I say bonus traffic training is that people release products all the time. And existing businesses do this, new businesses do this; businesses offline and businesses online do this. And I d like to start by giving you an example of what I mean. I went to a local gym and I noticed something new on the counter when I went in. And it was a little stand right on the front counter. There was a cardboard stand with a bunch of flyers in it and it was basically I don t remember the name, but it was a network of gyms. And it said, are you traveling? Keep fit while you re on the road. And I picked it up and looked at it and it said, here s a 25% discount on any gym that s part of our network while you re traveling. And I said, wow! That s really interesting, right? I

2 Overcome Everything Page 2 of 27 wonder how that works. And then I asked the woman who was at the desk hey, are you guys a member of this? Because I was curious about their business model and she said yes, sure enough we are. And I said oh, interesting. So basically, what it comes down to is someone had the bright idea to creating a network of gyms, okay? And exactly how this person makes money, I don t know yet. However, here s what I do know. You go to these gyms and if you re traveling, you pick up one of the flyers. You call the 800 number, tell them what city you re traveling to and then you can get a discounted membership or a discounted day at the gym at any of the gyms in the area that you re traveling to. Well, why is this cool? Well, it s cool for a few reasons. First of all., it helps the customers to stay in shape and they don t need to worry about finding a good gym because they probably have certain standards that they go with before they ll accept a new gym to be part of their network. The second thing that it does oh, and it makes it even easier because the customer can simply go and do this and not have to worry about finding a gym. They don t need to put any work into it. The second thing that happens is that the individual gyms, okay, these individual gyms will then have a situation where they re making more money because they re getting customers they simply wouldn t have had otherwise. Great deal for them. So how does the network make money? My guess, it probably costs a monthly or annual fee to be part of the network. That s probably how it works. So why is this interesting? Well, in effect, it s a bonus network. And what this means is that the individual gym is giving a bonus away to their customers saying here, have a discount at a different gym for when you re on the road, okay, as our gift to you. Works great for them; it works great for the other gym involved. Like two gyms could just do this with each other, right? But it s more than that, it s hundreds of gyms, perhaps thousands of gyms are involved in this. So the point is that that s one example of a real world physical bonus, a real world physical bonus where you re giving more value to your customers.

3 Overcome Everything Page 3 of 27 Now online, I d like to give you a bunch of examples of where this happens. First of all, this happens very frequently, it happens very frequently when someone does an Amazon book launch campaign. Now, you may have noticed that Mark Joyner just released an amazing course called the The Simpleology Best Seller Blueprint and that just launched last night when I m recording this. You can check it out at OvercomeEverything.com/BestSeller. And it s an amazing, amazing course that teaches you how to get your book up to number one. Well, one of the things that Mark has done in the past is he s used bonuses as incentives for customers to buy. He s also used bonuses as incentives for affiliates to promote, okay. Let me say that again. He s used bonuses as incentives for customers to buy because they get all these really great extra bonuses in addition to the book, but he also uses bonuses as incentives for affiliates to promote. Why? Because when you are an affiliate, if you contribute a bonus to a big launch campaign when there are going to be lots of front-end customers, then you can get some really great opt-ins because they re customer opt-ins for people who purchase something online and they wanted your bonus. So you can make your own little squeeze page and then people opt-in to get your bonus. It s a very, very powerful methodology and it works like gangbusters. Now, the site currently isn t up but Joe Vitale and Mark Joyner did this a couple years ago with The Mother of All Bribes. That was a giant bonus campaign. It was just one big bonus campaign. It was a list building thing. So you can run a big bonus style giveaway launch and build your list really big in a hurry. That s one way of using bonus traffic in order to build your list; is you run the big bonus campaign or the giveaway. Now, one of the write this down because one of the best pieces of software that you can use; this is what Harris used, this is what Pat Marcello, who s on the line with me right now has used for her launch and this is something that who s using this right? Ben Mack and Paulie Sabol are all using launch formula marketing. Now, I ve not used it myself and I know that occasionally there are bugs with the software; it s not foolproof, okay? But that s the giveaway software that I m aware of that you could do something like this with.

4 Overcome Everything Page 4 of 27 Now, you don t need to orchestrate a full-scale launch in order to benefit from bonus traffic. As a matter of fact, I don t recommend that you do that at all. I recommend that you find launches that are happening, that are going on out there all ready and contribute a bonus to them. Well, how do you get a bonus? Okay? How do you the bonus? I found that one of the best possible bonuses, okay, this is a secret that I m going to give you that is worth thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars as one of my Perpetual Marketing Machine students, as hopefully a Black Diamond Line student, as one of my advanced level students, you re privy to this higher level information which is the following: the best type of bonus that you can give is an interview with the product creator. Let me repeat; the best bonus that you can give is an interview that you do with the product creator. Well, why is this powerful? First of all, because it s a call you can schedule for the future. All you need to do is create a squeeze page and get a bridged line and presto chango; you will find that your bonus will go up at the top, up at the top of that bonus list. Why? Because you re doing the interview with that person. Now, you want to sweeten the pot? Tell them that the interview that you want to do will sell more copies of their higher end home study course, product or program through your affiliate link. If you say listen, here s what I d like to contribute towards a bonus. I d like to do an interview with you and I would like that interview to promote your higher end product, program or service if you have one. And if you don t have one, then let s promote mine and do it through your affiliate link. What do you say? Either way, the author or the creator of the front end product that s having all these bonuses wins and wins big time. Either way, you win. Why? You win because your list is building and if you do it right, you ve also set things up with a sales system so as soon as they opt in to your list, they now start buying products and services that you are offering, that you are offering. So entering Amazon giveaways is a great way of doing this, but there are other ways, too. You can add bonuses to all sorts of front end products simply by binding them in ClickBank. So let me give you an example. I know Pat quick question for you is you just released Blogging for Boomers.

5 Overcome Everything Page 5 of 27 Right. Are there other sites out there, and products out there on blogging? Oh, tons of them. Sure. And are any of them sold on ClickBank? Yes; many, many of them are. Okay. The reason that I m suggesting ClickBank isn t because it s the only source of those types of products. But it s an easy source, right? You can do this with anyone who s selling a product online in your topic. Now. Aren t there also lots of people out there who would love an extra bonus? Yeah, absolutely. Sure. And if you did am additional series of interviews with blogging experts above and beyond what you ve already done, would you possibly be able to use those interviews in different ways in the future? Oh, certainly I could; you can use them for so many purposes. Exactly. Now, you also have a product that you re selling, is that correct? Yes. What is that product? It s called Blog Sense. It s an e-book. Okay. And did you write it? Or is it a resale rate thing or what? It s a resale rate product. Great. So how much are you selling it for? $36.00.

6 Overcome Everything Page 6 of 27 Great. And do you sell it on ClickBank or Launch Formula Marketing or what? Through Launch Formula Marketing. Okay, now watch this. Do you have to sell it through Launch Formula Marketing? No. Where are you building your list? In AWeber? Yeah. Could you build a squeeze page for a bonus with an interview that you do with someone else? Oh, certainly. Okay, now watch this. You go to ClickBank. You type in blog. Make it really simple. You contact like the top 30 people in ClickBank, okay? Now. You go to them and you say listen, I d like to promote your course. I have list about blogging. Okay? Right. Could I take a look at your product? Show me your download page. They say well yeah, blah, blah, blah, right? And then you say well listen; I have a list of X. I d to promote your product but I just had a great idea. Listen, I would like to do an interview with you about blogging and I d like you to use that interview as a bonus at the very top of your download page. Make sense? Absolutely. And I don t see how they would say no. And then you d say, do you have a higher end product? They d say yes. You say great, let s promote that higher end product at the end of the interview. And I d like to promote it through my affiliate link if that s okay with you. That would be great. Then you put your little ad, right, for this up at the top. By the way, if you guys haven t listened to the Integration Marketing call

7 Overcome Everything Page 7 of 27 in the Secret 17, please do so because that will bring a lot of these pieces together for you. And bam, now you have a new source of traffic, right? Because people click on the ad. They opt in to get your bonus. They listen to the call and then they go and they buy that author s higher end product through your affiliate link. So you just built your list and added a new affiliate stream of income. Pretty slick; pretty cool. Exactly. Now, you do that 50 times, with different people. Wow. Right? You re going to be making a lot of money. You would be but it would all be on autopilot and you would also have a huge series of blogging interviews that you could sell as a $1000 course. Sure. Right? So the point here is that that s how to use bonus traffic with someone that like here s the key, guys. You always want to do it with people who have traffic and are generating sales already. You ll get your name out there in the community of your expertise very, very, very rapidly; even if you re starting out with no experience at all because all you have to do is interview someone. Right? So the point is you re putting those individual interviews in front of traffic and you re doing it over time. If you do one every couple of days, you ll be adding new traffic sources every couple of days. The author will never take it down because it s helping to sell their high end course. You re adding additional streams of income that are completely passive and you re building up a library of interviews in your topic that you ve done that you can then turn around and sell, you can get transcripts done, you can use those to then submit articles. You can turn them into Podcasts. That s the one thing is you want to be sure to tell people listen, I d like to be able to use this interview in a (audio skips) to give away as well, is that okay? Of course, they re going to say yes. So you

8 Overcome Everything Page 8 of 27 just say please just leave the bonus up there and you can use it however you want to, too. And of course, you re going to love that. Why? Because you re making sales of their product through your affiliate line. So that s one way of doing it. Another way of doing it is whenever anyone does one of these book launches, you can just go ahead and enter a bonus for the book launch. Whenever anyone does a giveaway, you can do the same kind of a thing. Giveaways are becoming more and more and more popular, right? Let s say it s a sale giveaway. I did this and generated almost 4000 new subscribers. Okay? Four thousand. Wow. Don t you have to be a little bit careful about what kind of giveaways you put your bonus into? No. No? Why? Because you re doing an interview with the person that created the giveaway. Right. What do you mean? I mean, maybe there s something I m overlooking. Well, I ve been in some that don t give you your opt-ins right away. They decide how many people you ve referred and how much traffic you ve gotten and Oh, great, great, great. Here s the key. Yeah. What you do is you say listen; I d like to do an interview with you and sell your high end products. So it s a little bit different than all of the other bonuses that people are adding. However, I wanted to be added up at the top. I want this to be a special bonus.

9 Overcome Everything Page 9 of 27 Cool. Okay? And no one else is going to ask for that. And they re going to almost always say yes because it s an interview with them that s adding value to all their members and it s selling their products. The more people that give in front of that interview, the more people buy their product. Right. Right. So it would be foolish of them not to put it at the top. And they re justified because it s an interview with them. Right. Make sense? Absolutely. That s a great way to go about doing any giveaway then. You don t really have to worry about what the specs are. You just do the interview and they can t say no and gosh, it s a great idea. Great idea. I mean, they could - you will have some people that say no. But for the most part, people always say yes. Now here s another cool thing you guys can do is I ordered some headphones from Amazon. I ordered a bunch of things from Amazon the other day and one of them was some headphones. And the box arrives and I opened it up, I tore into it and what was inside? Well, of course I got your normal coupons, discount vouchers for all sorts of random crap. I also got a little, teeny, tiny box of Kellogg s cereal. Why did I get a it was like some experiment, some new type of Kellogg s cereal. Why did I get a box of Kellogg s cereal with my headphones? I cannot tell you. It was untargeted marketing. But it was a bonus. I didn t eat it. But if I had eaten it and I liked it I m not a big cereal guy. If I had eaten it and I liked it, is there a chance I might have gone out and bought more of that cereal? There is a chance. Who knows; maybe their demographic tells that it would like some kind of healthy Kellogg s thing. Maybe they re the type of headphones that I bought fits the perfect demographic of people who eat healthy Kellogg s. I don t know. I really don t.

10 Overcome Everything Page 10 of 27 But it was a bonus that arrived in a box. This is another way you can do this. You can do it with physical products. You can have a bonus DVD. You can have a bonus CD that arrives in a box. Just make sure you have a great call to action, unlike Kellogg s, and you will turn a certain percentage of those people into buyers. Now, those are what we call product inserts. And you might have heard people talk about this in direct mail and so on. For a dollar or two, you can include a CD or a DVD in products that other people are sending out to develop immediate forms of traffic and immediately start really, really ramping things up. It s the same thing; it s just physical instead of digital. I hope that makes sense. I hope that makes sense. So that s the concept in a nutshell. I know it doesn t sound terribly complicated but that s the concept behind bonus traffic. So Pat, what I d like to do now is I ve probably answered some of your questions; hopefully not all of them. And if we could jump into your questions and then if we still have any additional questions from any of the other folks on the line after we re done, that would be great. Okay, cool. You said that the easiest way, of course, to find partners is to go to like ClickBank and find them. But if you weren t going to ClickBank, how else could you find bonus partners? Well, great question. Give me a topic. Something that won t relate well on Click well, actually, do something non-internet marketing, right? Tap dancing. Okay, great question. Okay, so the first thing that I would do is I would still go to ClickBank. So don t rule out ClickBank just because. So here s what I would do. First I d open a tab in Google, okay? In my browser, I d open a tab for Google. I d open one for ClickBank. I d open one for CJ.com. That s Commission Junction. And what I would do is, I d type in tap dancing and I would put those in quotes. And I would do a plus sign and write affiliate. And I d do a search in Google. In the meantime, I would go into the Marketplace in ClickBank while Google is searching and I would type in tap dancing. On Commission Junction, let s see if I

11 Overcome Everything Page 11 of 27 can do a simple search in Commission Junction. Sometimes they re easy; sometimes they re hard to kind of their site is being improved over time. Let s see, let s see, let s see. Where is the search button? Okay. So I have a site search. I would type tap dancing. And going back to Google, I see tap dancing, affiliate marketing community at BumpZee. BumpZee, huh. Hopefully tap dancing video compilations, Affiliate Marketing Videos. Super power tap dancing. Lots of things about super power tap dancing. FishPond.CO.NZ. Kind of weird. Tap dancing, dance lessons, movie and DVDs. Okay. So I m at BumpZee. I see nothing about tap dancing here. We re going to go home. Oh, okay. There s a search on BumpZee. So I m going to do a search for tap dancing. Tap dancing. While that s searching, let s see. Tap dancing, tap dancing. Yeah, nothing s really coming up. It seems like that was a loser. Let s see. I see Affiliate Marketing Videos. I m at Home Business Search/Affiliate Videos tap dancing, amazing tap dance; yeah, this really doesn t make any sense either. So the point is, I did a search on Google and now I m searching around for pages that have the words tap dancing and affiliate on the same page, on the same page. And though at first glance, I m not seeing exactly what I m looking for. However, super power tap dancing and it looks like they do have an affiliate program because I m at?sib=949. So that means they have an affiliate program. Contribute and earn money, okay? 100% revenue share for contributors. That s right; we pay you 100% of the advertising revenue that your content directly generates. Interesting. Now, why are they doing this? I think they re doing it because they want traffic, right? So could you and if they want traffic, I bet that means they also want to earn more money. So I bet you anything that you could look through their site and find places that you could, in effect, show them how to make more money by contributing a bonus or whatever is the case. And that s at TapDancing.com.

12 Overcome Everything Page 12 of 27 I took a look for all this on BumpZee which was the first one that came up and it came up with next to nothing but here s something interesting. I did do the search for tap dancing over at ClickBank. And I m going to give you the results that actually make a difference. I see ballet, Bible dancing instruction. I see celebrity dance instruction. I see ultimate guide to drupal, is that a type of dance? I don t know. Tap into the power of droople. All right. If it has anything to do with dance, I m not interested. Tap into heaven. No, that s not it. First dance fabulous, to teach couples how to dance. So here are some examples. Now, here s a cool thing. Let s say you re selling a tap dancing video. Well, where would be a great place to give people a bonus tap dancing instructional video? Well, it would b eon the thankyou page after someone buys tap dancing shoes, right? And you could stream that online so you could have someone opt-in. And likewise, if you were able to find tap dancing videos and you were selling tap dancing shoes, wouldn t that be another great couldn t you sell your tap dancing shoes? And if someone had bought tap dancing videos, for example. Maybe you do a little advanced tap dancing lesson on video as a bonus and the lesson has the person that s tap dancing wearing your shoes? And he s saying how amazing they are. And there s a link underneath to go buy your shoes. So there are lots of examples of how you can do this. What it comes down to is you need to look the reason I m looking for tap dancing plus affiliate, which is something I ve taught you guys many, many times, is because it allows you to find people that are interested in earning more money as it relates to their subject matter. Okay? And that s exactly what you re aiming for. You re looking for bonuses that people will position really well so you can help them earn more money and build your list while you re at it. Does that make sense? Great. Yeah, absolutely. Cool.

13 Overcome Everything Page 13 of 27 So you re saying you set up a squeeze page for them to get the bonus and that s how you build your list, right? Yeah. Yeah. A customized squeeze page just for their bonus. Awesome. And getting back to your partners, when you first contact them, do you contact them by or pick up the phone or how would you recommend approaching this from the start; from the get-go? I would do as many different ways as possible. generally is fast and then I would follow up with an immediate phone call and basically say hey, I d like to promote your stuff. I have a list. If you guys are listening to this, you ve already started building your list. I have a list about X and I d like to promote your product so I d like to take a look at it and see your sales process to see what s going to make the most sense from our end. And if they have a problem with showing you that, then just go on to the next person. Yeah, very good. And traffic from this; I guess it depends on where you re adding the bonus, but from some places, you can get more traffic than others. What would be the best places to get the most traffic? Well, so let me ask you a question about your question, right? Do you want to get the most traffic quickly or the most traffic like over time? Because those are two very different answers. you re correct. How about the most traffic quickly? The most traffic quickly, there s definitely going to be when someone s doing a launch, right? So if you get contacted to help promote someone s product or service when they re doing a launch, jump on that opportunity to include a bonus. Awesome. Okay. You ve pretty much answered all the questions I had for you and some awesome ideas, very, very thorough

14 Overcome Everything Page 14 of 27 explanations. Thanks for that, letting me be here and hearing all of that because it s a very powerful marketing tool, I m sure. Great, great. So let me just explain. We have a couple other people who ve just jumped on the line and who ve kind of joined us a little bit late. So what I m going to do is I m actually going to disable we have two people that just raised their hand and I m going to disable their handraising just for the moment. So I m putting you through and then I m turning you off again and I ll explain why. So basically, though we are doing this training live for our Black Diamond Line members, what we re doing is, we re doing a training in bonus traffic for the Secret 17 Sources of Traffic. And what I wanted to do was give you guys the opportunity to learn from this. We will be answering normal Black Diamond Line questions at the very, very end of the call. However, what I d like to do now is ask if anyone has any questions specifically, specifically, specifically about bonus traffic. About bonus traffic and what I ve just been teaching you here for the last 40 minutes or so. And they can be very specific to your business as well. They don t have to be general. If you re stumped by any of this or you need a little bit of extra brain juice in order to really engage this and start using later on today to build your list faster and get more traffic, then I d like to invite everyone on the line to ask questions right now about bonus traffic specifically. I know that this is kind of a simple concept, but once you get it, it becomes very profound because it s derived in many ways from integration marketing. 15 Overcome Everything Page 15 of 27 Good. Yes; and my question relating to bonus traffic is about the strategy of offering an interview to the event owner. So whoever s either running the launch or the giveaway let s just say it s a giveaway in this particular case. One objection that I could see coming up from a product owner or a giveaway owner saying or bringing up is the fact that they wouldn t want to put your bonus at the top, if it s a giveaway because they want to be fair to the other contributors. How would you come back on that type of an objection when you re mentioning this type of offer? What I would say very simply is, listen, I would combat that by addressing it before they bring it up, personally. And what I would say is listen, I d like to do an interview with you specifically as it relates to this launch, this book, this product, right? This is the kind of thing that we want all of your customers here so they can really get the most out of it. And I d like to sell your next level product at the end through my affiliate link. So the purpose of this interview is to help you sell as many additional copies of your higher level product as humanly possible. Okay, so it s mainly for those that have higher end products and stuff like that. What if, hypothetically, it was a giveaway -- like a regular Internet marketing style giveaway that might not have a higher end product of their own. Would it still be worthwhile to approach somebody like that? It s always worthwhile to approach. It s always worthwhile to approach. Again, what I would say is, let s do a call; use your creativity on this to find out different angles and different cool things that you can do. And let s do a call on blank and what we can do is at the end of the call, we could sell a resale rights package and you know what? I ll put the whole thing together for you, right? And I ll give you 75% commission on it if you want. And we ll sell it for $400. Oh, okay. So like if they don t have something, then You build something that s higher end and that relates to it, relates to the topic. Okay.

16 Overcome Everything Page 16 of 27 If you want to put the work in. If they re that resistant, hang up the phone and move on to the next person. But I ve personally, whenever I ve offered this to people, I ve never had anyone turn me down. I know that you and I were actually working with this a while back before it was really dialed in and figured out. Yes. But one of the biggest things that I would really recommend is you don t have to sell anything at the end, either. That s not necessary. But if you really position it as something that s going to be of high, high benefit and it s an interview with the author or the creator to put them on a pedestal, then nine times out of ten, they ll say yes. Mmm-hmm. Does that make sense? Yeah, that makes sense for sure. One question I had is I know that you were doing the bonus traffic campaign during traffic apprentice times. A lot of the deal was getting contributors to promote? Would you suggest promoting all the different giveaways that you decide to be a part of? I know that was something a little tricky because I didn t want to bring just every random giveaway to your attention to have you promote it, do you know what I mean? Well, that right there is interesting because that has to do with the positioning of your business and where your business is at. What I would say is that if you re trying to grow your list and you re using this form of traffic to do it, that yes you should promote; that s part of the deal which maybe means you ll add one of these a week; maybe two at most. But the point is you ll be establishing a lot of those joint venture relationships that you ll then draw off of and use in the future. That s one of the major, major things that people forget all too often is that you can only apply so many different types of traffic that overlap with each other at a given time. And if you re a oneman or one-woman operation or you re a smaller company and you re not doing a lot of other affiliate promos, then like Corey, for you for example, you re running your business and your list is continuing to grow. If every time that someone approached you

17 Overcome Everything Page 17 of 27 for a giveaway, instead of just giving them a bonus for the giveaway, you applied the principle that I m teaching you here, do you think your list would grow more? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, any way to get more leverage out of any event that you decide to contribute to would be valuable to say the least. That s the key. That s the key. Now, you can contribute regular old bonuses and do it the normal way, too. But I ll tell you, you ll get about three to four times the subscribers in my experience, if you use this personalized tactic. Mmm-hmm. Pretty cool. Yeah, it s definitely an interesting twist on what people normally do at giveaways because people normally just sign up as a contributor, mail out to their list and then they just sit back and watch if any subscribers come in but don t really put any extra effort into approaching the event owner and saying, hey, let s do something extra. Let s get my thing at the top and and get a bunch of people registered for it and we ll sell something on the call, blah, blah, blah. Right. And again, if you do this over time, in order to build ongoing traffic so if you don t do the giveaway thing and you just do it with existing products in the marketplace that relate to your product, you re going to have just an arsenal of relevant interviews. Whereas if you just do it with a bunch of random giveaways, the downside to that is that you end up with people and interviews that don t relate to one another too closely. So if you, for example, you have the Easy Web Tech videos, right? Mmm-hmm. So one thing that you could easily do would be come up with three or four of your best videos, put them together as a bonus giveaway and go to everyone on the first page of ClickBank for traffic, everyone on the first page of ClickBank for SEO, everyone on the first page of ClickBank for affiliate marketing, everyone on the first page of ClickBank for upsells, et cetera. Right? And just say listen, I would like to contribute a bonus of some of my best Web Tech videos to anybody who buys your product. Right? You already know they re getting traffic and it s simply a

18 Overcome Everything Page 18 of 27 value-add. And you tell them, hey, I d like to do a promotion, too. What do you say? Right? No, they re certainly not going to turn down the fact that you want to promote their stuff for them, you know what I mean? Right. So that s a way of circumventing the whole large giveaway thing entirely if you just want to build steady, more steady ongoing sources of traffic to your site. I like it. Yeah. Works really, really well. Works really, really well. Cool. Any other questions about that, Corey? That s all I had for now. Yeah, I have a regular Black Diamond Line question for later on after other people ask bonus traffic questions. But let me just quickly say, bonus traffic is awesome. It s pretty much one of my main like I m only driving traffic with about four ways right now which is giveaways, so bonus sell traffic. My current programs, ad swaps that I work out with people and safelists that I bought in Platinum and upgraded accounts to. So it s like one of the four main ways that I m driving traffic to my site right now. So it s a great way to push all the traffic that those giveaways are going to be sending traffic, so all of the hits that are floating around, they re all more or less, they re all going to be there from people doing broadcasts out to their lists. That s why on that type of traffic is well responsive and I already kind of know what s going on. So yes, it s another good reason to pursue bonuses. Especially giveaways and stuff like that. Awesome. Now, how big is your list at this point, Corey? 7700 and growing there s about 1000 people in terms of unique and then about 6700 approximately. Cool. And how big was it before you joined the Black Diamond Line? Oh, in the Internet marketing niche, it was zero. So it was zero. Cool, cool. Has that made a difference in your income?

19 Overcome Everything Page 19 of 27 Oh, having the list? Oh, absolutely. It s been awesome. Having a list is really what makes it all worth doing. You ve got to have that asset. A great example, I don t know if list ClickBank message set periodically where they re like sets of three messages for different PLR products. And I always resisted buying him until yesterday he sends out an offer where you get private label rights to all of them, to all three of his sets and you get the 12-page and everything unrestricted, go crazy with it, for like $100. So I bought it and one of the prewritten series he has in there is on autopilot profit for which I have resale rights to. So I quickly I already have the page set up and ready to sell the product so I just copied and pasted the pre- s into my list, I scheduled the first one to go out right away, scheduled the other two to go out 12 hours apart and I ve just been seeing sales coming in kind of passively since I set that up. So I spent $100, I copied and pasted and I made my $100 back already by selling a resale rights product that I already had. No selling. Yeah, I mean, it s sweet. Click, I ll be able to do all kinds of fun stuff with those s as time goes on; give them to my affiliates and promo tools and all kinds of cool stuff. Wow. Are those s are they s that are set up to be for products that you can buy resale rights to? Well, they re ClickBank products. Like every single product that s promoted is a ClickBank product. But some have a resale rights options. And some don t. And some don t. Yeah. Got it. That makes sense. But most of the have resale rights one time offer. So really want to cheat, go buy it and then buy the and then when you promote, you can just promote through your own direct

20 Overcome Everything Page 20 of 27 link instead of through an affiliate link and just make all the money. So pretty cool. So now that you re applying and you have been steadily and it s been growing over time; now that you re applying what you ve been learning in the Black Diamond Line and doing all these things, specifically how has your income changed? Well, I basically get ClickBank checks every two weeks like clockwork that are over $1300. Cool. Makes life a lot easier, that s for sure, when you have some steady income that s coming in. And yeah, I mean, it s awesome. Like I promoted a couple higher end products (audio fades) kind of forgot about it and then got a $1000 check in the mail from Ryan. And it s been awesome having when you have the list there, you have this instant built up traffic that you can tap into almost anytime you want. You just have to send an and all of a sudden you start seeing clicks fly wherever you point them. So yeah, it s powerful. Awesome. Awesome. Well, congratulations and again, Corey, you started doing this while you were working full time in another job. And are you still working part time in that job as well, or no? Yeah, I m still about three days a week. But in the meantime, you re making $3000+ a month because you built a list. Mmm-hmm. Yeah. Wow. Very cool. The list and the membership. I think if you have some sort of a continuity-based offer and you re building a mailing list at the same time, that s kind of like the magic number. Best of both worlds, yeah. Very cool, very cool. Well, congratulations. You ve been doing a lot of the right stuff. Nice.

I ve got a question about, you were talking about the bonus traffic where you ordered the headphones and you got the sample product in the package that you received. Yeah. That appeals to me very strongly. A couple quick questions about that. One is, do you deal with the fulfillment company for those people or do you like go to the like a celebrity or whomever that created the product first? Who would you contact first in order to get the conversation going about getting something of yours added to their fulfillment process? Great question. There are a few different you re really going to have to feel this one out. There s something that s been suggested to me that I ve never actually tried but a lot of the direct mail guys will say well, contact the fulfillment house and ask them who their top ten producers are. But contact them as if you were going to use them as a production house, okay? And say listen, I d like to talk to your top 10 producers and see what their experience has been like with you. Okay? And then, while you re on the phone with whoever s handling this stuff; say hey, I just had a really cool idea. Right? And then what you can also do is you tell the fulfillment house just be like hey, to 10 producers, can you send me a copy of the three products that you sell the most of so I can just as if I was a customer. Oh, okay.

22 Overcome Everything Page 22 of 27 If there s a letter included, stick it in there. Whatever. I want to see them because I m comparing fulfillment houses. Oh, okay. So they ll send that so you ll be able to look at what the customers are actually going to get. Now, what does this allow you to do? Well, it allows you to actually go through the program or the product that s being sold. Free. I like that idea. Now. Now when you contact the author, you can say listen, I just went through your course. And if they say well, did you order it from us or what? Well, I was going to but then I was on the phone with your fulfillment house because I m getting ready to get my product fulfilled, too. And I asked them to send me their top three right? products. You can be completely transparent. And yours came in the mail. And by the way, the way you have that packaged is absolutely awesome. But I see where you re leaving a lot of money on the table. They re going to say, well, what do you mean? And you say well, look. Wouldn t it be cool if the cost of shipping was paid for automatically? Because right now it s costing you something. I have this offer that converts really, really well. Here s what I d like to do. I d like to include a special bonus CD that s an interview with me interviewing you basically like a quick start program to get people started with your product, right, to put people in the right mindset. And at the end, I d like to promote my special $1000 program. And I ll pay you $500 or whatever, if anyone buys. And I ll pay for the cost of the extra insert. We can try it out for a month and see what we get. What do you say? Okay, cool. That s a great strategy. Right? So in the case of physical products, I would probably go to some of the fulfillment houses first and you might even pair it down. You might even say so, I d like you to send me your top three products but I d also like you to send me your top three selfimprovement products as well.

23 Overcome Everything Page 23 of 27 Oh, okay. Just so I can get some ideas for different ways that we could package this. I m a really tangible person. Say listen, I m happy to pay if they give you any resistance, which they won t. But if they do, just say I m happy to pay whatever production costs are on this or whatever so I can just check it out. Okay, great. A follow-up question on that is do you have a particular resource you use to find out who these fulfillment companies are? Well, there are a few options. Number one is you can order some product from people that you re trying to get in touch with. And in many cases, the return address will be what? Yeah, it will be the warehouse they shipped it from. Yeah, in many cases. Now, sometimes that won t be the case. But I can tell you some right now. Okay. So if you go to let s see, okay, number one is there s Speaker Fulfillment Services. There s Disk.com D-I-S-K. There is, let s see. There s Disk.com, there s Speaker Fulfillment Services. There s Virvante which is I think V-I-R-V-A-T-E I think is how you spell it. Okay. Virvante. Yep. And there s one more- let s see. What is the other one? That should get you started. But I mean, the fact of the matter is, you can go to Google and type in fulfillment services. Or CD fulfillment or DVD fulfillment, right? Yeah, okay. And then if you don t mind another follow-on question. Yeah, yeah. Now, will the fulfillment house disclose to you like how many units they re shipping per month? That way you have an idea of how many say I want to put in a physical CD that they add in to

24 Overcome Everything Page 24 of 27 the orders to figure out what numbers you need to have produced in order to say, if you say do it for two months or three months. Don t worry about it. Oh, okay. Because you get to choose your own budget. You don t have to spend any more money than you want to spend. You can say let s do a test with 500 units or let s do a test with 100 units. Do that based on your budget and make sure there s an ROI on it before you roll it out big anyway which they ll totally understand. Because for all you know, it won t generate any sales. Right, okay. That s where doing it online is really nice because it costs you nothing. So I would start online. There are enough here s the deal. There are between selling your recording and transcripts from Zentimental and the sheer number of resale rights products you can resale rights or private label rights products that you can buy in the self-improvement industry, there s no good reason why you can t just do audio interviews with people and sell one of your own $47 ClickBank products. Okay. To get this rolling. You could set up, literally, if you focused on it, you could probably go ahead and do that with all of the or at least half of the speakers you currently have for your teleseminar series. And then you could go to all the other people in ClickBank who are selling self-improvement related products. Okay, great. And remember, if you re building a self-improvement list, if you re going to go after motivation, go buy resale rights to a motivation product. Build a squeeze page about motivation. Do an interview about motivation and then sell your motivation product. Okay, great.

25 Overcome Everything Page 25 of 27 To get them on your list and generate some immediate income. Okay, great. Does that make sense? Oh, yeah. Great. Thank you, and like Corey, I could add on that I ve actually to participate twice in this kind of bonus traffic and one was for a book launch. And currently that s still two months old and it s the number two driver of traffic to my Web site. So it really does work. And that s why I was really particularly interested in this call and more of the details of working with fulfillment houses. Let me ask you a question. Are you keeping track of how much how many subscribers you ve got from that particular bonus? Yeah. Are you willing to share those numbers? Right now, that would be let me do the numbers real quick in my head. That is nearly 30% of my subscriber list has come from that process. Wow. Wow. And that s just one of these that you set up. How much time did it take? I think it took a total of maybe 10 minutes. They asked me for some copy what copy I wanted on the bonus page if people bought her book. And a graphic. So I quickly grabbed a graphic off of I think it was IStockPhoto.com or something like that. So I spent maybe 10 or 15 minutes, certainly I didn t even spend an hour on it. Wow. That s great. Cool. So yeah; it s my limited exposure to it, it s worked great and that s why I m motivated to do more of it.

26 Overcome Everything Page 26 of 27 Again, if you do this with people where there s some sort of preexisting relationship or where you create a preexisting relationship, it s going to be way easier than going in cold. So this is going to be a much easier process for someone who s built a perpetual marketing machine, done the teleseminar series, right? Has done a couple joint venture swaps or whatever. But if you re using this to get started, you can do that, too. It s just if you know a couple of people to begin with, it s a lot easier to set deals up because they trust you. Yeah, I actually can t wait until this person writes another book. Yeah, exactly, exactly. Hurry up and write another book. I ll ghost write it for you. Yeah. Could you write a book every three months? Yeah, exactly, exactly. But at the same time, did you sell anything at the end of that interview? She actually was promoting her book launch. At the end of the but wasn t it a interesting. Wasn t it a bonus that you got when you bought the book? Oh, yeah. The bonus was one time free access that I ve been doing like everybody else s. Oh, okay. So again, if they have a home study course or something that you can promote through an affiliate link or whatever, then you can get that much better placement. But if that s not an option, then hey; do whatever you need to do. Oh, and I m being brain dead here, too. Of the people that have opted in through that promotion, that bonus traffic, I ve gotten 20 sales of my one-time offer out of that. Oh, cool, cool. So you ve made at least a few thousand dollars in the process. Yeah. I m sorry. I was being a little brain dead there. Hey again, the proof is in the pudding, guys. So you can spend the time, and it took what, an hour to do the interview?

27 Overcome Everything Page 27 of 27 Yeah, yeah. It was a 60-minute interview and we didn t do any editing or anything. Just sent it out as is. Cool, cool. Very, very powerful stuff. Awesome.
