No matter which talent you will be demonstrating for us, you are required to bring: * A non-returnable photo of yourself, stapled, picture facing out, to the back of your application. * A parent (if your age requires) * Your completed application form. Below is a description of what you can expect at the audition for each talent. Independent auditions will determine which performers get a callback for the following day. Keep in mind that this is a family friendly company, please keep your words, actions and song lyrics family friendly. Actors We have attached a commercial script that you will perform for us. Please select your age appropriate script and memorize it as best as you can. Its best to be off book. 5 Frequently Asked Questions What is this audition for? This audition is a chance for aspiring actors, models, dancers and singers to be invited to perform in the ipop! Showcase in Los Angeles. Where you would perform in front of more than 100 Hollywood Agencies, Mangers, Casting Directors and Record Labels. For more information about the Showcase check out the link to the official website, and video about the ipop! Showcase. What size should the non-returnable picture be? The photo can be any size, kind or color you want, preferably a relatively current photo of yourself (not from over 2 years ago), and one that we may keep to attach to your application, for future reference. Can I perform more than one talent? Do I have to perform more than one? You may demonstrate as few or as many of the talents as you wish. You would just perform them one after the other, when it is your turn in front of the judges. This audition is for a chance to be asked to come perform in the ipop! Showcase in Los Angeles, California. If you don't have a passport you would NOT be able to travel to the U.S. to attend the showcase.
6 Does my parent have to come with me? If you are under the age of 18 you must come with a parent. If you are under the age of 25 and still live at home with your parents you must attend with one of your parents. No, you may not come with your aunt, uncle, older sibling, or friend s mother. It must be one of your parents. Do I have to speak English? You do not have to speak perfect English, but you will at least need to be able to communicate a little with our English-speaking judges. Just do your best. Remember your goal will be auditioning in Los Angeles where the primary language is English. What ages do you accept? We happily accept ages 4 years old and up!! How much does it cost to audition? There is no cost to attend the audition! I can t make it to the audition so can I just send you a video or pictures of myself instead? No, we only audition in person. I called the hotel for more information but they said they know nothing, why? We pay for use of space in the hotel. They are not affiliated with us. They will not be able to tell you anything. You can us or ask questions on the Facebook messenger page. What does GPA mean? Grade point average. Write down whatever point or percentage system your school uses to gauge how well you are doing in school as a whole. How long will the audition take? Plan for it to last for approximately an hour and thirty minutes. Will you come back soon? If you can t make it this time because your parents are busy there is a chance that we could return sometime in the future. The best way to keep up with new shows is to follow our Facebook page to see when we might announce that we could be returning to a city near you in the future!!
