2 New Presenter Introduction: Welcome to our team! This is a tutorial on how to jumpstart your business! Step 1 is ARM YOURSELF WITH KNOWLEDGE The files portion of Megan s Glam Squad, Jenn s Basic Training, and Whitney s Group LashStars Team Training are all packed full of info. Be sure to familiarize yourself with navigating the files tab of our groups and changing the notifications to all posts so that you don t miss anything important. Every group post tips all the time. HINT: Use this magnifying glass as a search tool. It is available in all groups. Example type TIP ALERT into search bar to see examples of how to better your business. I know it is easiest to ask your sponsor, and that is fine in a pinch, but you will be cheating yourself out of learning where to find the answers. Trust me. Sooner than you think, people will be joining your team and you will want to know where to point them. If you are a runner, and I hope some of you are ready to do so, then find the files and GET READING! J Print them and read them again. That is exactly what I did, and I can tell you that is what all of my successful presenters have done. Arm themselves with information and get busy. Also, go to Whitney Husband s website, and click Team Training Login, password is lashlife (all lowercase). She is an Exclusive, Black Level Presenter with tons of helpful tips and articles for success! Dreams don t work unless YOU do!

3 Step 2 is FIRST PROMOTION/PAY RAISE! Get YELLOW! Your first goal as a new presenter is to reach yellow status, which is $1,000 in Personal Retail Sales (PRS). If you will read through the New Presenter s Handbook, it will give you a good idea on how to achieve this. You can find this in the files tab of Megan s Glam Squad the Detailed Presenter s Handbook. A MUST WATCH VIDEO of a compensation plan broken down: Another great video is: Once you hit yellow, FAST START is in your radar! Fast Start is obtaining $2,000 in PRS and enrolling 3 new presenters in the first 90 days. You will earn $250 in Y cash and a cute little star charm. (Y Cash is free money earned towards Younique Product). Most of my presenters who are actually working their business by posting daily reach this. It is a totally obtainable goal. The way that you are going to get to this goal is by hosting YOUR Launch Party.

4 Step 3 is CREATING YOUR LAUNCH PARTY! Go to your original site that you created during sign-up. original sign-up name Click on Party. Click on Schedule New Party. Then click the box that says, I Actually Want to Host This One Myself. HINT: Everything is linked to Facebook, so your face will automatically pop up. Scroll down and answer all of the questions. Make sure your party lasts for 10 days. (You have the option of 3, 5, or 10 days). When someone orders from you party, you are getting paid commission for each sale but you are also the hostess of the party and are accumulating party points for Y Cash (free product) that you can keep for yourself, create samples to give to friends/family, or sell for 100% profit. Every person who is black level has done the step outlined below (optional). TIP FOR SUCCESS: How to create a YOUNIQUE domain name Go to GODaddy.com Create your own domain name (you just need the domain name only). Once it's purchased, to your party and "copy" the URL. Then back to GoDaddy, log in. Click your domain name and it will say "forwarding." Click that. Paste" your party link in the URL area. Save as temp. Wait 5 mins. VOILA! BUT you have to do that every 10 days to keep it going to your current party link. Small price to pay for FREE products. You can Google coupon codes (i.e. so that your domain name will be $2 or less!! This will pay off as it will be easier for your clients to find your site, and YOU will reap the benefits of more free product!!!

5 Step 4 is LAUNCHING YOUR PARTY ON FACEBOOK! You want to make a Facebook post on your personal profile stating your WHY. Why you joined Younique. For example, it may be: Hey guys! I have decided to join in the fun and share some crazy awesome mascara with you guys! As your all know, my husband works out of town in the oil rigs and I have started this new venture to get my guy home. The boys and I miss him terribly operation bring Tyler home is in full force. Can t wait to share these amazing, all natural/chemical free products with all of you. You guys are the best! {insert your website here] Your personal WHY may be very different, but that is what makes us YOUNIQUE. Your WHY may be that you want to make money to travel, love makeup, want to shop I don t know, but whatever it is, you want to share it with your friends and family, and they will be very likely to support your goals! J Now that you have posted your WHY and shared your party link, all orders should be placed through there for the next 10 days; your personal orders and the orders from your friends and family. It will help you earn free and half priced product. If you have the money, I HIGHLY recommend getting 4 mascaras to have on hand. People are excited to save $5.50 on shipping. Shipping will be free for YOU since your order will be just over $100. I can t STRESS enough how important it is to have a few mascaras on hand. I have sold them to friends in a bind who wanted them quick or to friends that wanted to save on shipping. I have even sold some to the checkout girl at Target who saw my Younique card during checkout.

6 Step 5 is WHAT & HOW MUCH TO POST (i.e. pictures, wording, etc.) Click on this link to access Whitney s 30 Day Challenge. These pictures along with their wording, should be posted 2-3 times until you get comfortable doing your own post. This is a great guide to use until you are more comfortable with posting! J Other great pictures to post can be found in The Lash Hens Pic Group Posting 2-3 times a day on Facebook is imperative! 1. SELFIES SELL! People want to make a connection with you and the product; they know you and want to see how it works on someone they know, not always a model. 2. Start with lots of mascara posts! People are more apt to buy mascara than other skincare products, at least initially. It is a gateway product. Once they know and love the mascara, they want more (aka Lash Crack )! 3. Make it personal ( sharing, not selling ). Be enthusiastic! Share what you love Marry enthusiasm with KNOWLEDGE! We are a naturally-based/chemical-free company, and all of our ingredients are hand-selected for a reason. Take a moment to look at the ingredient list and learn what makes them special! You can find product information on the Younique page and on Whitney Husband s website! Google has become my best-friend. Make sure it is a reliable source (i.e. WedMd, Dr. Oz, etc.). Find the facts that pertain to your product and share it! 5. Know your market! Who is on your Facebook? Do you have mascara lovers or those who have acne issues? Are your friends all about anti-aging products and fine-line/wrinkle preventatives? The list goes on! WHO S FOLLOWING YOU? WHAT DO THEY LOVE? 6. Make it your own and share at a different pace. EXAMPLE! Sally posted a picture that I absolutely love! I save it to my phone/desktop. Then hours later, I repost that photo. When you are a New Presenter, it is perfectly acceptable to cut-and-paste your Upline s post verbatim. As you get more comfortable with posting, you will find that you will want to create your own tag line to go along with that photo to make it your own. When you live in a small town, copied posts can be overwhelming to mutual friends and fall on deaf ears (well, eyes). J TIP: NO SHARING. If you click, Share you are sharing that person s website and not your own. Save the photo, copy/paste the tag line, and post it to YOUR own wall/group/page! J

7 Step 6 is WHEN TO POST!? Morning, noon, and night is BEST. Two times a day minimum. Keep that momentum going! But, let s think What was your original Facebook used for? Family? Friends? School? Make sure to keep some posts personal. Your friends friended a person, not a business, so keep it YOU. Your friends/family will still want to see pictures of your kids being silly and of your pets being petty. Again, SELFIES SELL! They want to see YOUR pretty face LOVING the products and seeing them work! EXAMPLE! I post my Younique business publicly. I post my children, but I set it to friends! This can be achieved by clicking the dropdown next to your name on your post (see above). Then, decide who gets to view your photos. Also, consider what day it is and play off of it. Friday is PAYDAY! Post something about finally being able to purchase that 3D Fiber Mascara that you ve wanted for so long. How about Try it Tuesday/Thursday, or Get Over That Wednesday Hump, by treating yourself. Also, think about who is on at what time! I know a lot of my Mommy friends go on at night after the kids are in bed. I also have those Early Birds who check their Facebook before going to work. Use the diagram to the right as a guide. It is not set in stone, just something to help. Post when it feels right to you!
