1 Letting Go New Year s Ceremony - Anna Ostendorf Our letting go ceremony allows us to take some time for reflection, acknowledgement, and gratitude, as well as letting go of anything you wish to release before 2015 begins. We re going to bring up memories and moments of the past year, hold them in our hands, and then let them go. You may want to visualize them as being carried off by or becoming a bird, a feather, a butterfly, a bubble, a cloud whatever seems to speak to you. First, get yourself into a comfortable seated position. Close your eyes or allow your gaze to soften. Allow the muscles in your face to relax. Breathe relaxation into your shoulders and down your arms and let go of tension. Breathe relaxation into your core and down your legs and let go of tension there. Now it s time to think of the past year Think of people including yourself and moments that you can forgive and release. Hold them in your hands. Acknowledge what happened and allow yourself to release and forgive. Take a breath in, then allow your breath out to blow these memories away and let them go. Say, I release you.

2 Think of frustrations or stresses which you are ready to let go. Hold them in your hands. Acknowledge your feelings then allow yourself to release them. Take a breath in, then allow your breath out to blow these memories away and let them go. Say, I release you. Think of farewells, moments of sadness or grief. Hold them in your hands. Acknowledge your feelings then allow yourself to release them. Take a breath in, then allow your breath out to blow these memories away and let them go. Say, I release you. Think of disappointments or regrets. Hold them in your hands. Acknowledge your feelings then allow yourself to release them. Take a breath in, then allow your breath out to blow these memories away and let them go. Say, I release you. Think of how you ve grown and wisdom you ve acquired this year. Hold these experiences in your hand. Acknowledge them with gratitude. Then allow yourself to detach knowing that you have even more growing to do. Take a breath in, then allow your breath out to blow these memories away and let them go. Say, I release you. Think of people you ve met and new experiences or thoughts you ve had. Hold these experiences in your hand.

Allow yourself to feel the gratitude for a year of life and all that it entails. Take a few more breaths and slowly return to the present moment. Please join me in the year end reading from your bulletin Life is a twisting and turning path, ever changing and flowing. My journey has brought me this far, and I am ready to take the next step. I call upon the energies and powers of the Universe to guide me on my way. Today, I say farewell to the things that have prevented me from becoming the person I wish to be. (Aine Belton) May you be released from thoughts, experiences, and memories that no longer serve you for the highest good. Now it s time to shake it off! We re going to make a kind of a conga line to clear our energy and prepare ourselves and our space for something new.

5 I deliberately left the back of your bulletin blank. I want you to turn it over and look at it. This is your year. It is entirely blank. Sure you may have things blocked off in your 2015 calendar already but none of it has happened yet. Your 2015 journal is unwritten. Imagine yourself at the end of the next year. What do you see in your 2015 journal? What will your senses experience? What will you learn? Take a few moments now to close your eyes and daydream a bit. What do you see? You may also take a few moments now to set intentions, write goals, and make wishes. You can write them down or keep them in your heart. Now take a moment to love and accept yourself for exactly who and where you are right now. May You Be Blessed By Aine Belton May you play more, laugh more, love more, live more, give more, receive more, and celebrate more! May you open to the vast possibilities and boundless love and wisdom of your truer self. May the doors to your brightest futures swing wide open. May you know the full extent of your worth and deserving and open to receive all that your heart desires.

6 May gifts, synchronicities, serendipities and successes dawn effortlessly in your world. May you connect to and experience more of the love, beauty and light that you are. May you sparkle and gleam with merriment and magic. May your laughter refresh the world daily, brightening all those around you including yourself. May you know that you are loved, loving and loveable, ever and always. May you live a blessed and happy life, a life you truly LOVE!
