7 ?! YIKES! Imagine that you re mountain climbing, trying to escape your enemy. While running, you fall into a small crevice that seems impossible to be rescued from. You are all alone and can t get out without help. AUGUST

8 DON T WORRY! I LL HELP YOU GET OUT. I M LOST! NOBODY WILL FIND ME HERE. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? CALL ON THE POWER OF THE KEYS! JESUS, YOU SAID, IF YOU ASK ANYTHING IN MY NAME IN THE POWER OF THE KEYS, I WILL DO IT AND YOU WILL SEE MIRACLES! OH, JESUS, PLEASE HELP ME! HOW? WHAT DO I DO? 8 GEN-UP #1

9 YOU HAVE TO TRUST ME COMPLETELY! When you pray, I come to your aid. I am above the crevice you have fallen into, dressed in mountain gear. I...I CAN T DO IT! IT S TOO HARD! AUGUST

11 YOU RE DOING WELL! I throw you a rope, which is fastened firmly to the rock face and to Me. I instruct you on how to fasten the rope securely about your body. I tell you where to step, where to put your feet. You trust Me and obey and begin to make progress as step by step I continue to lead you out of the crevice. Knowing that you won t survive long without food and in the cold air, you decide to put your trust in Me. OH MY! I M GOING TO DIE! THAT S IT! I M GOING BACK DOWN! AUGUST

12 I...I M NEVER GOING TO MAKE IT! YOU RE MAKING PROGRESS! DON T WORRY, YOU CAN TRUST ME! At one point you look down, and panic, becoming fearful that you will fall to your death. You begin to freeze up with fear. Then you remember My warning to not look down. You again look up and focus on Me, and listen to My voice speaking to you. Your faith returns and you continue climbing up. 12 GEN-UP #1

13 GOOD. ANOTHER STEP. KEEP GOING! HEY, YOU!! YOU CAN T GO THAT WAY. IT S IMPOSSIBLE! JUST GIVE UP. I LL HELP YOU GET DOWN THE EASY WAY. Your enemy sees you escaping and tries to get you to fear by telling you how dangerous it is. He tries to get you to look down again, knowing that you will panic and lose faith. AUGUST

14 THERE! GIVE ME YOUR HAND. What you need to understand is that even if you do make a mistake and fall, you will not fall all the way to defeat. My rope is securely around you, and I will pull you up again and help you keep going onward and upward to safety. 14 GEN-UP #1

18 Your enemy is always looking for ways to trip you and make it hard for you. But I come to your rescue! I M GOING TO HELP YOU RISE ABOVE THROUGH THE POWER OF THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM! Falling into the crevice is like when you mess up and get discouraged that you cannot overcome your problems and weaknesses. 18 GEN-UP #1

19 You have to have faith in Me and follow My leading! The Enemy will lie to you about how you can t make it. Don t listen to him!! Instead trust in Me. Keep listening to Me and obeying what I tell you to do. Hold on to the promises in My Word that are brought even more alive through the gift of the keys! AND YOU WILL RISE ABOVE AND BE VICTORIOUS! IT MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU, BUT IT S NOT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME! I HAVE PUT THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM IN YOUR HAND; THEIR POWER WAITS TO BE ACTIVATED AT YOUR CALL AND VACUUM, AND WITHIN THEM IS ALL THE POWER OF HEAVEN! AUGUST

20 (Jesus:) You wake up looking forward to a great day. Today you re on the witnessing team to the beach! You ll be meeting one of your friends there. He doesn t live at your Home, but is the son of an Active member, and loves the Word and witnessing. He looks up to you, so you want to be a good testimony. You come out of your room, and there s your younger sister at the breakfast table eating her oatmeal. Her elbows are on the table, and she doesn t leave you much room. Why can t she sit properly, and give me some room? You wonder. Mommy!! After all, she s seven now, and is old enough to notice. You shove her arm aside. Your sister cries, and Mom asks what s going on. He pushed me, younger sister replies. 20 GEN-UP #1 Art by Shae

Oh no! My day is turning bad! Oh no, you think to yourself. My day is turning bad. What happened to that victory you woke up with, and the joy that was in your heart at the start of the day?

You feel like growling at your sister? Claim the key of love, and ask Me through the power of the keys to give you Heaven s love for her. Call on the keys to help you be positive and to rise above.

21 Oh no! My day is turning bad! Oh no, you think to yourself. My day is turning bad. What happened to that victory you woke up with, and the joy that was in your heart at the start of the day? It s not gone. It s just that the Enemy is fighting you. Don t get down. So you tripped by being impatient with your sister? Get up and try again. How? Claim a key. You feel like growling at your sister? Claim the key of love, and ask Me through the power of the keys to give you Heaven s love for her. Call on the keys to help you be positive and to rise above. As soon as you claim the keys I go to work for you! And not just Me, but the Heavenly host you ve called upon. You didn t know you called for a Heavenly host to help? You did when you claimed the power of the keys. That released Heaven s power for you. Back to our story. What do you do? You claim the keys, and soon find yourself rising above the circumstances. You laugh at yourself for taking things so seriously, and turn to your sister to apologize, I m sorry I got impatient. That s okay, she answers with a smile. You find yourself loving your sister, and no longer upset at her. In fact, you re excited again about the day ahead and the witnessing trip. That s the magic in the power of the keys! AUGUST

23 ...is like flying. Both ways, you get over the obstacle, but one way takes a lot more effort than the other, and also doesn t take you as high or as far. The other opens limitless possibilities, and happens with much greater ease. You can even get over several hurdles at once if you like! AUGUST

24 X Do you want the power of Heaven at your fingertips? The keys will give you that power! X Grab ahold of the keys, My friend, And use their miracle power. Doesn t matter if the need is big or small. They re perfect for the need of the hour. X When your mind is telling you not to yield, And you feel too weak to fight, Call on the keys and their power wield, And the victory will be in sight. X Rise above the things that get you down.
