EVAN RELAPSE PREVENTION 0:00:03 Jon: What would you like our meeting this afternoon to address? 0:00:06 Evan: Well, my drug addiction. 0:00:10 Jon: Yes. May I ask a few questions to get oriented? 0:00:12 Evan: Yes, of course. 0:00:14 Jon: What kind of substances were a problem? 0:00:16 Evan: I m addicted to heroin. 0:00:18 Jon: And how many days now clean? 0:00:20 Evan: I ve been twenty days clean. 0:00:22 Jon: Wow, congratulations, Brother. I am delighted for you. How is your body feeling? 0:00:26 Evan: It s actually feeling really good. 0:00:30 Jon: Well, I m glad to hear that. How do you find your mood is? 0:00:35 Evan: These last couple of days I ve actually been in a really good mood but like before that I was getting depressed. I was having real problems with depression, so they put me on anti-depressant pills. These last couple days have actually been really good, real good moods. 0:00:49 Jon: Well, the antidepressant pills you were put on, how many days ago? 0:00:54 Evan: Three weeks ago. 0:00:55 Jon: Ok. That would just about be when those are having an effect now then. 0:01:00 Evan: Yeah, exactly. 0:01:01 Jon: Good. So, that seems to have corrected something about the way that some of those synapses were communicated with each other. 0:01:08 Evan: Yeah. 0:01:12 Jon: Good deal. Do you find that the idea of using comes to mind from time to time? 0:01:18 Evan: Yeah, it does. 0:01:21 Jon: In a way that seems disturbing or tempting? 0:01:22 Evan: Yeah, like mostly in the mornings, like, I ve been having a lot of dreams about using lately and like, I ll wake up and really be craving for it and want to use. And like, I try 1

my best to change my mindset, like I ll eat breakfast and I ll take a shower and that sometimes does the job. 0:01:44 Jon: I can definitely give you a hand with that and will leave you in better shape and more comfortable. Ok? 0:01:52 Evan: Yeah, that d be awesome. 0:01:53 Jon: So, where your mind is now around the idea of using is much better than it was two months ago, and yet, not yet as good as we want it. Does that make sense? 0:02:11 Evan: Yes, yes. 0:02:12 Jon: You agree with that? 0:02:13 Evan: Yeah. 0:02:14 Jon: Ok. It all has to do with the way that brain interprets and reads data, info that is incoming, or that is stored, or that is created within the brain. If you were a zebra, it would only be incoming because it doesn t store, it doesn t create, it doesn t add meaning to things. But our human minds are more complicated and so, more stuff can be problematic, requiring a tune up and that s what we are doing. Let s find a way to represent our starting point. Our starting point is better than it was, and not as good as we want it. If we created a visual, a design, we made something up, and what we make up, the design we make up is either vivid, jagged, twisted, scribbly, dim, dark, dreary and it s representing the way mind has been working around this issue of using most recently, what would it look like? Would it be more harsh, glaring or dim, dark? 0:03:34 Evan: More harsh, glaring. 0:03:35 Jon: And so we are done with that. I begin seeing then what at the very highest level is intended for you and there I am seeing you with mind updated, cleared, rebooted, refreshed so that you are absolutely solid and secure because you are solid and it s become absolutely out of the question, and so there is an easiness in your living. Sound ok? 0:04:07 Evan: Yeah. 0:04:08 Jon: You and I have the same intention, the same purpose. Our energy is now coming together and as it comes together it expands, expanding energy will be the fuel that fuels the shift going on within your mind, putting you right where we intend. 0:04:26 Evan: Ok. 0:04:27 Jon: So, I d like to show you a couple things with energy. Would that be ok? 0:04:31 Evan: Yeah. 0:04:32 Jon: Then slide a little bit in to me because I want to do this. I am going to adjust your hand, I m going to point at a spot. I will ask you to focus in, laser in on the spot, and then, for just a few moments I will talk about energy. Then I ll ask you to close your 2

0:04:59 Evan: Alright. eyes. For a few moments more, I will talk about energy and then I ll ask you to open your eyes and then we will review what you noticed while you were doing that. 0:05:00 Jon: So, you put your arm like I have mine, then just the hand falls forward like mine. Good. I adjust it to here, I want you to look at that spot I touched, right there. You focus on that spot and you are going to begin to become aware of a vibratory energy that moves through your hand and through your fingers. You will notice the energy in a number of different ways. Now, close your eyes. Eyes closed, you don t see your hand, and yet, you know exactly where it is. And you know where it is, not because you can see it, but because you can sense it. Then, you just rest your hand and your arm back done once again and then again, you open your eyes. That was perfect. What did you notice in terms of thought during those few moments? 0:06:08 Evan: That my hands were real shaky. 0:06:11 Jon: Yes, so you noticed the energy there through hand. Good. What other thought? 0:06:16 Evan: I was noticing like the line and I sensed where my hand was, I knew exactly where it was. 0:06:22 Jon: Perfect. Hand goes up like this. 0:06:24 Evan: Yeah. 0:06:23 Jon: Goes up like this again, like this, like this. And you now look here. As you look at that spot, laser in there, you see my hand out of the corner of your eye and then as my hand moves in toward yours, I want you to imagine that as my hand moves in toward yours, that you can begin to sense and feel an energy from my hand and then as you imagine that energy, I want you to very slightly tap with your hand forward into the energy, like you can see out of the corner of your eye how little the taps are that I m doing. Tap in the same way. Slight tap, into that energy. Really gentle, gentle, gentle. Feel the energy, feel it, feel it, feel it. And then close your eyes. Your eyes are closed and again, you can t see your hand but of course you know exactly where it is because you can sense it. And you can sense it because you can feel it. And you can feel it because of sensation. Sensation is energy. And so, because of energy, you know exactly where your hand is. You know where it is 0:07:53 Evan: Yes. 0:07:54 Jon: And you can picture it in your mind s eye. You can t see it but you can picture it and you can also feel it. You can feel it. You can notice where it is because you can feel it. You can feel it because of sensation. Sensation is energy. There are movements, there is a vibratory movement. The vibratory movement is constant and variable and there are other movements in addition to vibratory movements and I will describe those movements later on. But in terms of vibratory movement, movement that s constant and yet variable, think in terms of the surface of ocean water. Now, of course, it can be observed from the shore, but if one was looking down from out in the ocean where 3

land wasn t visible, suspended maybe ten feet above the water, looking down at the water, we would see movement that is continuous and yet we know that the direction of that movement changes and that the intensity of that movement changes. As you are aware of your hand and the movement in ocean water, you know that that movement is energy. All movement in the water is a manifestation of energy. Deep movement is energy. Now, each process that you and I engage in becomes more and more effective and with each process your inner mind readies itself to take in only what we do together that has real advantage. Real benefit. Real benefit for you. Each one is more effective because you already know that one thing builds on another. It is just that way it is. It is just the way things happen. Once again, you can rest your hand and your arm, that s it, and then, again, when you are ready, you can open your eyes. Yes, that was perfect my friend. What did you notice in terms of thought during those few moments? 0:12:40 Evan: I was at ease in my mind. I could picture myself in the ocean. 0:12:48 Jon: Yeah, that s perfect. Everything is being set up to work in the best way for you. You ve been successful in remaining clean, you ve been saying things to yourself to motivate yourself, and one of the things you ve been saying is you ve been saying stuff like I can t use, I can t do that. I can t ever do that. I can t use ever again. Am I right? 0:13:22 Evan: Yeah. 0:13:24 Jon: Those are words you ve been saying. And in spite of saying those words, there have been dreams and temptations. 0:13:31 Evan: Yes. 0:13:32 Jon: I want to explain to you why that has been happening. It hasn t been because of you and it hasn t been because you haven t put enough effort into it. The problem has been that you ve been using the wrong tool. It was the tool you were given, but it isn t the right tool. Think of somebody who has been trying to open a door and he is so frustrated he finally just breaks into tears. Then somebody walks over and says, What s the matter? and he says, I must be just inept or weak or stupid because I can t get this key to unlock the door. That s when the guy says to him, Oh, well man, that ain t the key, and hands him the key that opens the door. We are going to hand you the key that will open the door for you. 0:14:29 Evan: Ok. 0:14:30 Jon: I want to show you why what you ve been doing couldn t have worked. We are going to do a little experiment where I m going to talk to you about something else, it doesn t even relate to using, but I want you to notice what you begin to think and feel as I m saying these things to you. 0:14:52 Evan: Ok. 0:14:52 Jon: Close your eyes a moment and let s see what happens. You know that sometimes people experience a little itch or irritation on their skin, on their face, sometimes on 4

the forehead or the scalp or the cheeks or the ears. It can be just like an irritation that stays in one place or sometimes seems to move. And you see many people rub at their face or move their hands to scratch or touch in ways that can relieve that little burning itch and there are people who have done that and people will continue to do that except for from now on, you can t do it. You can t wipe an itch away. If there is any little irritation or itch, and I can assure you that there will be, you will just have to let it sit there and let it dig in and irritate and burn because that little light itch over time just seems to be digging into that flesh and there is nothing you can do ever to wipe it away. Good, and then open your eyes. So, what did you notice thinking or feeling as I was saying those things? 0:16:38 Evan: That my drug habit is the itch. 0:16:42 Jon: What were you noticing in your face? 0:16:45 Evan: My forehead, like before you even said it, started feeling like itching. 0:16:49 Jon: Right. Yet, you were able to pay attention and not touch it, even though you wanted to, while you were thinking about it but what do you think might happen later when you re not thinking about it? 0:17:10 Evan: I m going to scratch it. 0:17:Jon: 0:17:37Evan: Yes. That s why it s felt fearful to you because it s felt like, gosh, I can hold onto this thing as long as I pay attention to it but I m afraid my thoughts will get away from me and then I won t control it and that s why you ve been living with a certain amount of fear about this thing. Am I right on, am I correct with this? You re correct, yeah. 0:17:38 Jon: Ok. So, I m going to give you a whole other way to approach this. 0:17:44 Evan: Ok. 0:17:48 Jon: So, imagine if you will that some guy walks up to you in the street and he says, Hey dude, give me twenty bucks right now and I will come back here in an hour and give you a hundred bucks. Will you give him the twenty? 0:18:10 Evan: No. 0:18:12 Jon: And he says to you, Ok, I get where you re coming from man. I ll come back in an hour and give you five hundred bucks. Now are you going to give it to him? 0:18:22 Evan: No. 0:18:24 Jon: Ok and he says, Alright, alright. You re a hard bargainer. You re a bright guy, give me the twenty bucks right away, I ll come back in one hour with a million dollars in a big trunk and leave it right at your feet. Now give me the twenty. You going to give it to him now? 0:18:44 Evan: No. 5

0:18:45 Jon: Here s what happened, there s the offer, a hundred, five hundred, a million, but there s the real deal. The real deal is, Hey dude, do me a favor. You give me twenty bucks so that you don t have it anymore. I want to be able to walk away from you with your money and think you re an asshole. 0:19:08 Evan: Yeah. 0:19:11 Jon: So, that s the real deal. You didn t reject the offer, you didn t even pay attention to the offer, you didn t care about the offer. You paid attention to the real deal. Make sense? 0:19:23 Evan: Yeah. 0:19:25 Jon: And you would do that in numerous circumstances. All kinds of things, you re going to say, What s the actual deal? I mean, you re walking down the street and you see this really hot sports car and some guy is leaning against a parking meter near the sports car and he says, You like it? You can have it. Give me a hundred bucks. Do you give him the hundred bucks? 0:19:48 Evan: Yeah. 0:19:50 Jon: Well that wouldn t be good, it s not his car. He s just a guy leaning on a parking meter. 0:19:55 Evan: Yeah. 0:19:57 Jon: So, what s the offer? You get a car for a hundred bucks. What s the real deal? You get to lose your hundred bucks and feel like an asshole. 0:20:05 Evan: Yeah. 0:20:07 Jon: So, you want to be looking for what the real deal is, make sense? 0:20:13 Evan: Yeah. 0:20:14 Jon: Automatically you look for real deal. So, you meet this gal, she s real cute. She s sweet, she moves in close to you. She says, Sweetheart, I really want you to reactivate your addiction to heroin. I want that to be full blown and here s why, sweetheart. I want you to be sick. I want you to be desperate. I want you to be needy. I want you to blow all the work that you ve put into being clean so that you really feel crappy. I want you to be afraid, I want you to be on a treadmill. I want you to be depressed. I want you to feel guilty and I want you to be dead. In the street, dead. And she smiles at you and she claps her hands [claps] and she says, I so want that to happen. Now, does that make you want to use? 0:21:11 Evan: No. 0:21:13 Jon: But isn t what she s offering you what we would call the real deal? 0:21:18 Evan: Yeah. 6

0:21:20 Jon: So, the real deal has no appeal. Now what you ve been trying to do is say, I can t, I can t, I can t which has been making you feel nervous, upset, and afraid. I am going to give you some I cans, let s see if they make you want to use. 0:21:43 Evan: Ok. 0:21:45 Jon: Repeat these words. I can activate my addiction heroin. 0:21:48 Evan: I can reactivate my addiction to heroin. 0:21:51 Jon: And I can get sick. 0:21:53 Evan: And I can get sick. 0:21:54 Jon: And I can get desperate. 0:21:56 Evan: And I can get desperate. 0:21:57 Jon: And I can be afraid. 0:21:59 Evan: And I can be afraid. 0:22:00 Jon: And I can die in the street. 0:22:01 Evan: And I can die in the street. 0:22:03 Jon: And I can really hurt people. 0:22:04 Evan: And I can really hurt people. 0:22:06 Jon: And I know how to do it. 0:22:07 Evan: And I know how to do it. 0:22:08 Jon: And I m good at it. 0:22:09 Evan: And I m good at it. 0:22:11 Jon: Now, does any of that make you want to use? 0:22:13 Evan: No. 0:22:14 Jon: No, so all those I cans don t make you want to use and the I can t, I can t was. Notice the flip? So, here s all you can to do forever, one thing that you are absolutely going to be able to do. Check out the real deal. You can do that. Now, what s the real deal? Hey dude, give me twenty bucks. I ll give you a hundred tomorrow. What s the real deal? 0:22:46 Evan: There s no one giving you twenty bucks. 0:22:48 Jon: So that I can think you re an ass. 0:22:50 Evan: Yeah. 7

0:22:51 Jon: That s the real deal. So, you think, you know, if I need to get rid of twenty dollars and have somebody think I m a total ass, you are definitely going to be my go-to guy for that. 0:23:02 Evan: Yeah. 0:23:03 Jon: But you re not who I m calling if I happen to need a million dollars, because that would be stupid. 0:23:09 Evan: Yeah. 0:23:10 Jon: Ok. And the thing about using, it s not about using, it s about- that would be like the guy says to you, Hey, step off this roof. You can enjoy a breeze. You would say, Dude, it s not about a breeze. It s about hitting the fucking pavement. 0:23:28 Evan: Yeah. 0:23:30 Jon: But there will be a breeze. Well yeah, all the way to the pavement. I m not going to jump in order to feel a breeze. If I want to smash into the pavement, I know where to go. 0:23:42 Evan: Yeah. 0:23:43 Jon: But I m not going to be doing that for a breeze. That would make me a fucking idiot. 0:23:46 Evan: Yeah. 0:23:48 Jon: And I m not going to use to get high. If I use, I would use to get addicted. If I want to get addicted, I know how to do it. If I want to get smashed to the pavement, I know how to do it. If I like to give away my money to people who think I m an ass, I know where to go. And therefore, all you do is one thing. Check out the real deal, [snap] you can do that, and then do whatever you want. So, say these words, I m going to check the real deal. 0:24:23 Evan: I m going to check the real deal. 0:24:25 Jon: And do whatever I feel like. 0:24:26 Evan: And do whatever I feel like. 0:24:29 Jon: And that you can do, can t you? 0:24:30 Evan: Yeah. 0:24:31 Jon: You don t have any worry about being able to do that. 0:24:33 Evan: No, I don t. 0:24:35 Jon: Ok, a very different thing. Notice there, there isn t any fear. Are you able to check out the deal and do whatever you feel like? Yeah, of course I can. So, that s what you do. The whole thing will be solid. I am going to do another process that s going to stamp things in even better for you. 8

0:24:59 Evan: Ok. 0:25:00 Jon: But, look before we do, at the design that we started with. Remember the design? What s it look like now? 0:25:08 Evan: That finger? 0:25:11 Jon: The design that we began with that was representing the problem. Remember, you said it was like sort of dark, didn t you? What s it look like now? 0:25:21 Evan: Hopeful. 0:25:23 Jon: The design is different, isn t it, than it was. 0:25:24 Evan: Yeah. 0:25:25 Jon: So, that means the inside of your mind is already in different shape. The environment has changed. I ll show you something else. Name any guy you ve met in the past few weeks. 0:25:41 Evan: Justin. 0:25:42 Jon: Tell me about Justin s hair. 0:25:45 Evan: It s long and crazy. 0:25:47 Jon: And how would Justin look if it was bright pink and went down to his knees? 0:25:55 Evan: He would look like a girl. 0:25:56 Jon: Now go back and forth between the two Justins, which one shows up more to your left? 0:26:06 Evan: The regular Justin. 0:26:07 Jon: Yeah, interesting isn t it, that your brain put them in different places. That s a code that your brain automatically put on the visual thought. Nobody knows their brains are doing that. I want to show you how your brain codes an auditory thought that you hear instead of see. I am going to ask you two sentences, one that answer is yes, the other, the answer is no but I want you to say, Yes to both. Hey, can you lift ten pounds? 0:26:40 Evan: Yes. 0:26:41 Jon: Oh, can you lift ten tons? 0:26:43 Evan: No. 0:26:44 Jon: Ok. We will repeat those instructions more slowly for you. I m sure you will get it the second time. I am going to ask you two questions. The answer to the first will be yes and the answer to the second will be no. I would like you to answer yes though to both. Here we go. Can you lift ten pounds? 9

0:27:04 Evan: Yes. 0:27:05 Jon: Can you lift ten tons? 0:27:06 Evan: Yes. 0:27:08 Jon: Ok, now we ve got two yeses. Oh boy, hear them, don t speak out loud. Hear them and listen for where does the yes about ten tons sound like it s coming from. Here we go, can you lift ten tons? Can you lift ten pounds? Can you lift ten tons? Can you lift ten pounds? Where does the ten tons one sound like it s coming from? 0:27:38 Evan: The ten tons sounds like it s coming from the left. 0:27:41 Jon: Yeah, isn t that something. 0:27:42 Evan: Yeah. 0:27:43 Jon: So, brain is putting codes on stuff. Now, we are going to use that to your advantage, really in a powerful way. Here s what we do. I ll ask you this question, I ll say, Would you ever do heroin? And you answer me by saying, I know I shouldn t. Here we go. Hey, would you use heroin? 0:28:07 Evan: I know I shouldn t. 0:28:09 Jon: Good. Do it again. Would you use? 0:28:12 Evan: I know I shouldn t. 0:28:14 Jon: There we go. Now, here s another one. Have you ever gone into a public toilet, like in a park or something, where the toilet hadn t been flushed, but I mean like, a number of people have used it. It s like piled high in there. You ever see anything like that? You see it, smell it, if you went into a toilet and you saw that, would you taste it? Like would you eat it? 0:28:46 Evan: No. 0:28:49 Jon: Ok. So, I want you to say, I know I shouldn t. 0:28:52 Evan: I know I shouldn t. 0:28:54 Jon: So, would you eat shit out of that toilet? 0:28:57 Evan: I know I shouldn t. 0:28:58 Jon: Ok, now we ve got two I know I shouldn ts. Right? Would you use heroin? 0:29:03 Evan: I know I shouldn t. 0:29:04 Jon: Would you eat that shit? 0:29:05 Evan: I know I shouldn t. 0:29:06 Jon: Got it. Now, I m going to ask both questions, listen and let me know where the I know I shouldn t comes from about the toilet. 10

0:29:18 Evan: Ok. 0:29:20 Jon: Would you use heroin? Would you eat from that toilet? 0:29:25 Evan: I know I shouldn t. 0:29:26 Jon: Just hear them silently. Would you use heroin? Would you use heroin? Would you eat out of the toilet? Would you eat the shit out of the toilet? Would you use heroin? Would you eat shit out of the toilet? Good. Where is the I know I shouldn t about the toilet come from? 0:29:48 Evan: It s on the right side. 0:29:50 Jon: Yes, yes. It s on the right. Is it louder or softer? Would you eat the shit out of the toilet? 0:29:56 Evan: It s louder. 0:29:57 Jon: It s louder and more to the right, isn t it? 0:29:58 Evan: Yeah. 0:29:59 Jon: Here s what s going to happen next. The I know I shouldn t about using, you re going to love this, is going to recode. The coding on it will disappear and then it will be recoded and you will here it from exactly the same place and at exactly the same volume as the other one. They will be identical. They will both be like the shit in the toilet one. So, the way that will happen is your arm will be out. I am going to put my hand so that I am supporting the weight of your arm. Your eyes will be closed. I am going to tap a particular way on your forehead, move your arm, say both things quickly, and your mind is going to reformulate the coding on the one about using so it becomes identical to the other one. 0:30:58 Evan: So, I say I know I shouln t? 0:30:59 Jon: You just, yes, you will be hearing the I know I shouldn ts but they both are going to just end up there in the same place. So, first, just put your arm out like that, let it fall into my hand. Hear the one about the toilet, just hear it in your mind. Close your eyes. Would you eat shit out of that toilet? Picture the toilet with the shit piled up high. Would you eat that? Would you eat that? Now I m going to touch your forehead. Would you be eating that? Would you eat that? Would you use? Would you eat that? Would you use? Would you eat it? Would you use? Would you eat it? Would you use? Would you eat it? Would you use? Big breath in. Blow it out fast. Open your eyes. Good. Now listen, would you eat that? Would you use? Listen to the I know I shouldn ts they are both over there. Would you eat it? Would you use? And you got them in the same place. 0:31:58 Evan: I do. 11

0:31:59 Jon: Now, you just answer me and go no, like some guy came over to you and is seriously asking these questions, seriously. He says to you as you look in the toilet, he says, Hey dude, want to eat it? 0:32:14 Evan: No. 0:32:15 Jon: Good, good. Now, give me the same answer to the next question. Want to use? 0:32:22 Evan: No. 0:32:23 Jon: Good, now, hear the no s silently. Hey, want to eat that? Want to use? Want to eat that? Want to use? Good. You heard the no s. The one about the toilet is still a little further over to the right, but not much. The other one is very close and almost as loud. You ve seen binoculars where you adjust the big ring and that does almost all the work but then you do the little ring and that makes it perfect. We are going to just do the little ring. It will put the no in exactly the same place. Arm out, eyes close. Listen to the no. Hey dude, want to eat that? Want to eat it? Want to eat it? Want to use? Want to eat that shit? Want to use? Want to take a swallow of it? Want to use? Want to eat it? Want to use? Ok. Open your eyes. Listen now, want to eat it? 0:33:28 Evan: No. 0:33:29Jon: Want to use? 0:33:31 Evan: No. 0:33:32 Jon: Notice now silently, they are identical. Want to eat it? Want to use? And [snap] you [snap] got them in exactly the same place. 0:33:43 Evan: Yeah. 0:33:44 Jon: Got it? 0:33:45 Evan: Yeah. 0:33:45 Jon: Ok. Now am I going to ask you a bunch of questions, I just want you to say no, like you can t even believe somebody would ask you. 0:33:52 Evan: Ok. 0:33:5Jon: But it s like no. Hey there, going to have a blind girl around here pretty soon. Want to play some tricks on her? 0:34:04 Evan: No. 0:34:05 on: Well, want to set her on fire? 0:34:06 Evan: No. 0:34:08 Jon: Want to just push her down? 0:34:09 Evan: No. 12

0:34:10 Jon: Want to use? 0:34:11 Evan: No. 0:34:12 Jon: Want to punch a baby? 0:34:14 Evan: No. 0:34:15 Jon: What if nobody s watching? 0:34:16 Evan: No. 0:34:17 Jon: Want to really dig its eyes out? 0:34:19 Evan: No. 0:34:19 Jon: Want to use? 0:34:20 Evan: No. 0:34:21 Jon: Want to eat some shit? 0:34:22 Evan: No. 0:34:22 Jon: What if it s old? 0:34:23 Evan: No. 0:34:26 Jon: Notice the no s are all lined up. When the no s are lined up, there is no temptation. Watch, a guy shows you this little fourteen-year-old, his sister, and the guy says to you, Hey dude, for ten bucks, you can have a wonderful hour with her. What do you say? 0:34:48 Evan: No. 0:34:50 Jon: And he says, Is it because her tits aren t big enough? 0:34:54 Evan: No. 0:34:56 Jon: Now, how tempting is it? 0:34:59 Evan: Not that tempting, not at all. 0:35:02 Jon: And it s because you re asking the right question, which isn t how are her tits? but instead is, Hey, you want to rape a child? Want to go to prison? Want to meet your roommate whose kid is about her age? Those answers are pretty obvious, aren t they? 0:35:26 Evan: Yeah. 0:35:27 Jon: So, you just are asking the right question and you totally get the right answer. Now look at the design representing where you are with using. What s the design look like now? 0:35:45 Evan: Very hopeful. 13

0:35:46 Jon: Very different design isn t it? 0:35:47 Evan: Yeah. 0:35:48 Jon: Yeah, because now it s not about I m going to try not to, now it s like out of the question. 0:35:55 Evan: Yeah. 0:35:57 Jon: So, this real pretty girl and this guy is hitting on her and he s saying, Oh come on baby, just like get naked with me. Oh my god, it will be so good. And she says, Oh, I know I shouldn t. I ll try not to. You think he might keep asking? 0:36:13 Evan: Yeah, because she s not sure of herself. 0:36:16 Jon: Right, and if she says, No! 0:36:20 Evan: Yeah. 0:36:22 Jon: He s not going to ask as many times, is he? 0:36:24 Evan: Yeah. 0:36:25 Jon: So, watch, want to eat the shit while it s still warm? 0:36:32 Evan: No. 0:36:33 Jon: Want to use? 0:36:34 Evan: No. 0:36:36 Jon: See, you won t keep getting hit on by the desire because you are giving it like this no! Yesterday was I shouldn t, I mean, she s real cute and he s hitting on her, Come on baby, let me just touch it. Oh, I shouldn t. Not much longevity in that one, right? How about just No! A whole different, where are you now? No! Right? 0:37:09 Evan: Yeah. 0:37:10 Jon: You are now a No! girl. Not a Oh no, I shouldn t girl. You got it? So, it s like clear. 0:37:17 Evan: Yeah. 0:37:18 Jon: You did a good job. How was our meeting for you? 0:37:21 Evan: It was great. 0:37:22 Jon: It was wonderful to get a chance to meet with you. You are a great guy. You are going to make it. 0:37:26 Evan: Thank you. 0:37:27 Jon: You are absolutely going to make it. 0:37:28 Evan: Thank you. 14

0:37:29 Jon: Take care. 0:37:30 Evan: Thank you Dr. Connelly. 15
