1 CHAPTER 3 REES DAVIES Chapter 2 suggests that Elizabeth Evans was married at least twice. She and Roderick Williams had three children: William Williams, Margaret Williams and Daniel Williams. Apart from her marriage to Roderick Williams, Elizabeth Evans had at least three other children: Rees Davies, William Walter and Rees Walter. I have not yet found any records confirming the existence of William Walter or Rees Walter, but I have discovered some facts about Rees Davies and his family. This chapter describes the family of Rees Davies of. Chapter 5 will demonstrate that this Rees Davies was the son of Elizabeth Evans. Summary Combining Exhibits 8-14 we can piece together the family of Rees Davies and Ann Jones of, Breconshire, Wales. There were other men named Rees Davies in, but none seem to have been having children at the same time as Rees Davies and Ann Jones. Therefore, the relationships of the five children are proved by clear and convincing evidence. Chapter 5 will demonstrate that this Rees Davies was a son of Elizabeth Evans and stepson of Roderick Williams.
