If you can t see a person born before 1830, use the Landscape View to select a couple.

5 Landscape View: Descendancy Research Click on name of person to see person box. Click on Tree to put person in main position. Doing Your Own Descendancy Research Now, click on Descendancy View. Verify your line back to the ancestor couple. Remember: Undocumented genealogy is mythology. Learning Center WAIT!

Expand link if necessary and put another ancestor in main position. Repeat process to select another ancestor or to select an ancestor more generations back. Record Hints Click on Record Hints icon. Click on ancestor s name. Click here to see more possible records.

9 Record Hints Click Review and Attach. This allows you to review the record to determine if the person(s) of record are indeed yours. Record Hints Click on Record Hints icon. Add Reason to attach source and click box to Add Source to Source Box (if you wish). If record matches ancestor, click Add any new information to Family Tree. Click Attach.
