2 To Begin: Read "The Resistance" here: Citizens, given what you know since reading the book Number the Stars, please ask respond to these two questions in a Google Doc: Do you believe that the German government will leave the country of Denmark alone? Do you think that the King of Denmark will be able to protect you from the Germans? if not, what will you do to protect yourself? Reporters, given what you know since reading the book Number the Stars, please respond to these two questions in a Google Doc: Do you believe that the German government will leave the country of Denmark alone? What do you say to your Jewish friends? Do you tell them to leave the country? Why? After responding to the questions above, meet with your group and discuss your answers. How did your answers differ when having different religious backgrounds? Decide what kind of you would like to include in your newspaper. Who is your reading audience? What will your readers what to know? Now you will write your. Using the events mentioned in the book and historical events that took place in Denmark, write four for your paper.
