1 LESSON ONE: Begin with the End in Mind How many of you would ever get in your car and begin a journey without knowing where you want to go? Does this sound crazy? Unfortunately, this is what many people do when they join a network marketing company. They enter into the opportunity with the vision of a lottery. Many people enter with the mentality of it simply being a test drive to see what might be the potential income. This way of thinking will usually end in failure. When you enter into network marketing it is a vital step to ensure you have a plan. I am sure you have heard of a popular saying, Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail. It is very true and should not be taken likely. Successful people in network marketing all have one thing in common. They all began with the end in mind. What does this mean? It means that when you begin your business, you know exactly what you want out of this opportunity. This extends beyond a simple mental picture or even money. Beginning with the end in mind, means you have organized your thoughts in writing and have developed a plan of action. This includes writing down things such as the car you want to have, the home you want to live in and even which school you want your children to attend. Be clear and concise about what you want. These are your dreams and we are going to make your dreams a reality. It all starts in your mind. You are what you think you are, and you can achieve what you think you can achieve. Most obstacles are self-imposed and can easily be overcome. Bring your thoughts to life through images and statements in a journal (or diary) that will assist you in maintaining an intense focus on your goals. If you are motivated by music maintain a copy of this music accessible as a motivational tool to ensure you stay focused and on track. Maintain your motivational tools in places that are visible to you several times a day.

2 Maintain your faith and you will soon see how truly powerful you can be. Do not under estimate yourself. We have been placed on this earth for greatness. It is up to you to stay on your intended path and take your piece of the pie. Do not allow society, or even discouraging family members, deter you from conquering your true destiny. Fate is often brushed away as a myth, but understand you are here reading this guide for a reason. The reason is you have discovered your path and your desire for success. Remember that there is a distinct difference between a day dream and a real dream. The most significant difference is a day dream is wishful thinking, and a well prepared plan motivated by an attainable goal is a real dream. This is not a dart game; intend be precise with your goals. Think about both your short term (90 days) and your long term (3 years) as you want them to be. One great technique is with the use of affirmations. Affirmations are statements that enforce your intentions and solidify your intentions to achieve success. Educate yourself by reading books or other writings. Many times people do not understand the importance of investing time into their own knowledge base and how it can assist in the growth of their business. Take notes, or highlight, important aspects of your readings. We recommend you start by reading Your First Year in Network Marketing by Mark Yarnell. We are not presenting anything that is unreal or extraordinary. This is a reality that many people are living an attainable lifestyle that may seem like a fantasy for many. Remember Jeff Altgilbers took walks every Sunday in a rich neighborhood to condition his mind and believe he had already arrived, yet he was broke at the time! 18 Months later, he was moving into one of those luxury homes!

3 LESSON TWO: Plan of Action Why is this important? A plan allows you to track your success in accordance with your plan. It is a report card that you can use to assess strong points and weak points that may require attention. Another way to view a plan of action is that it holds you accountable to yourself. Accountability is a strong tool to push efforts towards a weaker part of your productivity. In your back office there is a Plan of Action that you can fill out and update as you grow in your business. Print and fill out the form and provide your sponsor with a copy. A motivated sponsor will assist you in attaining your goals and dreams. They will utilize this plan to help you appropriately plan actions that will enhance your dedicated efforts to grow your business Master Prospect List This is the foundation of your business. A master prospect list will be a revolving document that will ensure the proper tracking of people you are trying to bring into this opportunity. It will enhance your capability of keeping a strict schedule while enforcing the trust factor when you keep promised appointments. This list can be developed and maintained in writing or on varies computer programs. With either method, keep in mind that you must abide by a strict standard of commitment. Each person is different and will require different levels of effort. Let s talk about your warm market. Your warm market is those people that surround you such as family, friends and co-workers. They are people that have possibly known you for some time and have a certain level of trust in you. They are also people you have known for some time and understand their particular positions in life. This is an asset and a starting point for many network marketers.

4 When put into a simple prospective, working with people you know and understand can create a very pleasant and productive environment for growth. This is why your warm market is very important. The average person knows hundreds of people (more than they really know). Think about all the channels that can be used to find people you know such as social media. Facebook has been a platform that has brought long lost friends and family back together. The power of the internet has grown at an outrageous rate. Use this power to your advantage. Your list is in constant motion. It will continuously grow as you add new prospects. This list will be with you throughout the lifespan of your business. Jeff Altgilbers still has his after 13 years! While prospecting, you WILL meet those who are simply not interested in the opportunity. That does not stop this person from still being an asset to your business. When they do not want to enroll transform this into a networking opportunity. Ask them if they know any other person that could benefit from this opportunity. You might be surprised that many people are willing to share someone s information with you, and now you have a referral. In addition, this recommendation is now added to your Master Prospect List. It is recommended to start your prospecting in your immediate area. If your live in Philadelphia, than start in Philadelphia. Create a solid foundation prior to expanding beyond your local community. Once your foundation is created you will be ready to literally go anywhere you want and grow your business. Present the Opportunity We have developed the system so that your initial contact is transformed from a presentation into an invitation. When you call prospects on your list, do not try to explain 4Life or the system. Let the system explain the opportunity. Simply send them your webinar or web address and be attentive as to when they propose to view the presentation. The presentation will show them that we have a system, an elite team and a patented product exclusive to 4Life. Basically, we are providing them with all the required tools to create and grow a successful business. Decide the appropriate time to follow up and call to close the deal. Ensure that you react while they are warm to the opportunity. The system is set up to persuade an enrollment right from the webinar, but sometimes a phone call can be the needed boost to secure an enrollment. If they have enrolled from your webinar than a phone call would be appropriate to congratulate them for enrolling and informing them of the next step.

5 LESSON THREE: Business Tools and Systems Managing your list along with automating your prospecting efforts can be quite demanding. We have assembled several recommended tools that will assist with the management and growth of your business. List Management Tools You can use Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Office 365 to maintain your list on a computer or a tablet. The type of computer or internet program that you decide to use will only be as good as the person managing it; intend, even if you have a state of the art program, if you do not maintain it properly, it is worthless. These tools can be set up to manage your prospecting list, appointments and even text message reminders to keep your business in a forward direction. Microsoft Office 365 Recommended Tools Page For the leaders that are not yet comfortable of writing their own s we have supplied over 115 templates that can be tailored to your marketing and prospecting efforts. 1. Preformatted auto-responders and letters Auto-Responders Page Personal Branding and Credibility Don t overlook the basic tools that present a powerful way to enhance the branding of your business. These are simple, but powerful tools that create an initial impression. A prospect can easily be lost in

6 the first conversation if some kind of call to action is not presented. This call to action can be in the something as simple as your contact information. We have developed all these tools for you. These tools are: 1. Business card Business Branding Page 2. IMT brochure Business Branding Page Presentation A professional presentation is the heartbeat of this business. Without this tool your sales tunnel would lead to nowhere. For those that do not know what a sales funnel is: it is all your prospecting efforts combined to bring a potential person to the end state of an enrollment. Again, we have developed this for you. Our presentation has been professionally produced and created to maximize your growth and secure your success. Our presentation is in the form of a webinar. It provides your prospect with a detailed description of the opportunity created to instantly motivate those who have the ability to see the potential of a new life, a higher standard of living and a controlled destiny. We have created this presentation with integrity and respect, intend ensure to uphold our ethical standards of conduct. Your presentation is linked to your personal enrollment form ed to you for further processing. You can access your presentation one of two ways: 1. A link to your webinar Initial Setup 2. A link to your IMT website Initial Setup For those prospects that do not have access to the internet we have provided the presentation in the back office. You can download the presentation in two different formats and print them for a prospect to manually view. You can access this tool in the Power Point Presentation link in your back office. Transfer Factor Products The 4Life product can be hard to properly explain while trying to reflect how powerful transfer factor can be towards healthier living. Needless to say, we have also taken care of this too. We have uploaded an immune system video in your back office that breaks it down in a simple and understandable manner. You can download this video onto the device of your choice and use it to show your prospects. Social Media System (Qualified Members) We have developed a program to create a social media presence for your business. We design implement and management a professional Facebook business page that will further enhance your efforts of funneling a prospect to your webinar. We brand your page with the IMT logo and place your image on the profile. We will make you an administrator so you can post as the page owner. Do not under estimate the power of social media in today s manner of doing business.

7 LESSON FOUR: Time to Build Now that you have your dream in front of you and a written prospect list it is time to build. In 4Life we have a slogan, Together Building People. That is exactly what you are now going to do. This part of the business is really fun and exciting. You are going to find it quite easy, because most of the work has been done for you. All you have to do now is call your friends and let them know that you are ing them a link to your presentation. This is a professional video presentation that you most likely have seen before joining IMT. It addresses the three trends; network marketing, the wellness industry and social media. Keep in mind when you call them this is an invitation and not a presentation. Let the webinar present the opportunity. If you try to present on the phone you will most likely fail. Again you are not alone. If you need a script to follow you can always refer to Your Guide to Financial Freedom in the back office. The scripts can be located in Chapter two under prospecting. If your friend agreed to view the webinar right away, you need to conduct a follow-up call after 30 minutes of speaking with him/her. While the information is fresh in mind they will be motivated and more likely to join your business. However, the longer you wait to follow-up the less likely your friend will join. Ensure to make contact within 24 hours. We strongly recommend making contact 30 minutes after they have seen the presentation. Once your prospects join your organization ensure to introduce their up line and welcome them into the family.

8 LESSON FIVE: Commitment The upside to this business is it costs so little to get started. The downside is that because there is so little to lose the commitment can be weak. You can start in this business for $150-$500, but you need to have the fear of loss as equal to someone who paid Millions for a McDonald s franchise! Remember you now work for YOU! You are the C.E.O. of your business! Even if you have a job still, you eventually want to get free right? This means when you leave your job (J=just O=Over B=Broke) you are now finding time to work your career! When Jeff first began his business he went to his job early and got home by 5-6:00PM. He did not watch TV or waste time, and he worked his business on weekends. It was not long after that, that he said goodbye to his boss! Now he says Every day is Saturday! Commitment means you never quit! It means you attend events in your area, webinars or conference calls. In addition, ensure to invite your team to these events. We will achieve success as a team! Events either online or offline are the life blood of your business. Always build your business around Events! Make sure you attend your mentoring sessions. You will grow as a Leader, and your leaders will grow because of it. This was meant to be just that, a quick guide.
