1 MARKETING PIECES - ASSESSMENT Success Checklist: Find the Missing Pieces that Prevent You from Getting More Clients and Having Higher Profits in Your Business Please read the info below before completing the checklist (!) Success in any area is a result of several components and when one component is missing, success seems to elude us no matter what we do. Just like a puzzle; if a piece of the puzzle is missing, the puzzle is not completed Sometimes we know what the missing piece is or where we can find it. Then it s just a matter of picking it up and putting it in place. At other times we have no idea what the missing piece is or that a piece in fact is missing. That is when we don t even know what we don t know. Then someone else needs to help us find the missing piece and help us implement it. I know, it sounds simplistic, but if you think about it, it is really that simple. This self-assessment will help you identify the missing puzzle pieces in (1) your marketing foundation, (2) your marketing planning and (3) your marketing execution. These missing pieces can prevent you from getting more clients and generating the income you so well deserve. Be completely honest and check the appropriate boxes to identify which pieces of your marketing puzzle you have fully in place and which ones you need to work on. Then evaluate your results and put plans in action to correct it.

I Need Help With This! 1: MARKETING FOUNDATION I have a clearly defined niche / focus I have a clear target market I have a clear ideal client profile I know exactly what my ideal clients' challenges, pains, struggle are I know how I can solve their challenges, pain, struggles I know the benefits / results they receive from working with me I know what makes my business unique I know why potential clients will buy from me I share my story with clients I know where to find my ideal clients I have a magnetic marketing message I know what makes me credible 2: MARKETING PLANNING I have a monthly / yearly income projection I track my monetary goals daily / weekly and monthly I know how many clients I need to reach my income goals per month

I have a LinkedIn profile I have a Twitter profile I regularly post videos to Youtube, Viddler, and other My social media profiles are automated & integrated I use Facebook Ads I have an effective product funnel I have a product creation system I know how to launch a new product I have an effective referral system I know how to close a sale on the phone or in person I use introduction letters I have a client attractive business card I have a 30 second commercial / elevator speech I use free advertising I encourage sales with regular promotions I hold regular tele-classes, webinars I write and submit press releases

I attend regular networking meetings I'm on the board of 1 or more associations 4: ADVANCED STRATEGIES I conduct regular speaking gigs I have a continuity program / membership site I use upsell, downsell & cross sell strategies I have an affiliate program & affiliate partners I participate in affiliate programs I'm a regular radio show guest I'm a radio show host I host live events and workshops I authored a book I have pre-recorded shows I use direct mail newsletter, postcards, etc. I have a radio commercial I have a television commercial I continuously improve my marketing skills

7 2) Evaluate Your Results In order to maximize your business results in terms of more clients and a higher income it is important that for: 1: MARKETING FOUNDATION - All items are at YES! It s working great! 2: MARKETING PLANNING - All items are at YES! It s working great! 3: MARKETING EXECUTION - You may choose which strategies / tactics you want to implement in your business. You do not have to implement everything. (Very Important. The marketing strategies you choose and focus on, should be in line with where your target audience can be found.) Obviously, the more different strategies you use, the more diverse you marketing outreach will be. However, don t try to do too much at once. Rather choose one strategy at a time; implement it fully; systematize it and evaluate its results until you re confident it is at YES! It s working great!. Only then continue to the next one. 3) Take Action 1. Use the checklist on the previous pages regularly to review where your business is versus where you want it to be (or where it ought to be in order to maximize your business success/profits) 2. Please the completed form to me (info@createclientchemistry.com) this will help me see what areas you need most help with, and what areas we can already capitalize on. Please put MARKETING PIECES: SELF-ASSESSMENT in the subject line (all caps) to make sure I do not miss your message. 3. Create an action plan and prioritise the areas that you want to focus on first. You can use the worksheet in the next section to do this.

8 TAKE ACTION WORKSHEET Turn the Missing Piece into Marketing Successes ~ If you fail to plan, you plan to fail ~ Failure to plan is often the #1 cause of not succeeding in business. Of course, you can plan, but plan poorly and still fail; so it s important to plan wisely. The key is to put together a plan that will bring you results. In the previous section you identified the areas that you already have in place and the areas that you need to improve upon (the missing pieces). Use this worksheet to plan so you can put the missing pieces in place and bring all or most of your checkmarks in the Self-Assessment Checklist to YES! It s working great!. Then prioritize each task! Remember, you do not have to accomplish everything today. When you have a plan in place you can start to prioritise and then execute the steps one at a time to move forward.

Don t rush it; 2. Yet, don t waste more time on it than it s necessary (good enough is good enough)) MY ACTION STEPS: *Determine who this free offer is for - target market (Priority 1, Due - Today) *Find out what they need. How? Survey them (P2 Due Jan 15 th ) *Prepare a free offer (pdf e-book) (P3 Due Jan 25 th ) * Get coaching from Francis on how to do this (Due Jan 2 nd ) *Sign up for software that can manage subscribers e.g. AWeber (P3 Due Jan 18 th ) *Put opt-in box + offer on website (or outsource this) (P3 Due, Jan 28 th ) NB: Prioritise each action step and give each a due date so they combined leads up to have this completed by the final due date specified above Print and complete the form on the following page for each action you want to work on.
