Paid option, of course, has more bells and whistles. * Most of the major providers offer similar features and pricing. Key is to find one that you feel comfortable using so you will actually send out your newsletter!! If you don t dig Mailchimp, you can consider Aweber or Mad Mimi. Teleseminar Or Webinars Start Meeting basic package is free and includes audio conferencing (for teleseminars) and screen sharing (for webinars). You can also record your call or presentation for future download. Audio Recording For Info Products Audacity software available for free download, and includes editing capability. * You can of course dial into a bridge line and record. However, using audacity to record directly onto your computer gives you more control and better quality. Of course, if your call got dropped (which happened to me!) your effort will be for naught!!

5 Large Files (Audio/Video) Sharing Dropbox first 2 GB is free, and you can get more space for free by referring others to sign up. (I have acquired 19.25GB for free by referring others) * Also great for backing up your important files and allow access from anywhere with internet connection. Graphic Text Creation and Photo Editing Pic Monkey basic tools are free (and there is a lot to work with) or upgrade to get fancy. * For design/graphic layout work, check out Canva also free. Market/Customer Research Google Doc comes free with a free Gmail account create a form under documents. You can even see the survey results in spreadsheet format for easy analysis. Survey Monkey first 10 questions free.

6 Online Scheduling Appointy basic package is free. Option to upgrade to paid packages for added functionalities. * Appointy takes a bit of work to set up and the free package does have its limitation. Many people like TimeTrade free package allows up to 5 appointments per month. Next level package is $49 per year. Shopping Cart & Affiliate Program e-junkie if you have just a few products and don t want to invest $40+/month for shopping cart service, e-junkie s $5 a month plan for up to 10 products is a bargain. You can also run an affiliate program with this platform (which can cost you a lot more with other shopping cart services) the downside is, it may take a little effort to set up. But once everything is loaded it works pretty well. woocommerce if you have a wordpress site, you can install woocommerce (shopping cart plug-in) for free. To run affiliate program on woocommerce, you can get affiliate pro plug-in (basic is free, or you can get the $59 version for more flexibility) Agreement Signature EchoSign have your clients provide electronic signatures for their coaching agreements. Free account supports 1 user and 5 document signatures per month.

7 Payment Solution PayPal basic merchant account is free, which allows you to invoice, take recurring payment (as subscription ) as well as create payment button for your website. It also gives you a little gadget to attach to smart phone to take credit card in person. For $30 per month, you can set up a virtual terminal to take credit cards over the phone. * Other solutions for taking credit cards in person: Square or Flint What about website? You may ask My platform of choice is a hosted WordPress site, which is most flexible (design and functionality) and great for SEO. Installing and customizing may take a little bit more work, and I am reluctant to send folks who are just starting out with a limited budget to spend a lot of time and money on the perfect website (your website evolves with your biz, and is always a work in progress which means it will probably change in a few months if you are still fine-tuning your message). There are many free website tools you can use for your first website to get you started, and test what works what doesn t e.g. wix and weebly.
