5 Application for Au Pair Italy Checklist To register - please complete the application form and return to our Auckland office. Do not write See CV for any questions - please list details from your CV on the application form. After registration, an interview will be arranged and your referees are checked and a summary completed for our Overseas office, where your application will be given to potential family matches to consider. From then on we will help you with advice and guidance on making the best of your time nannying and living overseas. Please complete the application fully, and return with: 1 copy of your CV and references 4 recent photos of yourself, glued to an A4 sheet, including some with you and children you have cared for. Please add descriptions. Copy of your current drivers licence (restricted or full) A Dear Family letter (minimum of 400 words) - this should be about you, your schooling, your interests, your childhood, and family, your ambitions and outlook on life as much information about yourself as possible. This is the family s insight into you on paper. $300 registration fee, (cheques made payable to Nannies Abroad). This tells us you are serious about applying. Please download an application form for your Criminal Record Check which we will apply for on your behalf. Please complete this and send it to us while you are completing your application. This can take 8 weeks for the police to process so do it today. A Medical Certificate or letter from your doctor stating you are fit to work as an Au Pair in Italy. Written references from at least two past or current child care employers, - get as many childcare references together as possible. The more the better. We will be in touch soon after we receive and check your application to arrange a local interview or to discuss any missing items. 6 What happens next? You will be required to attend a local interview here in NZ. When we receive your completed application (including an interview report from your local interviewer and three reference checks), you will be advised of your acceptance and your application will be sent to our partners overseas. Before this we will be checking your references and completing an assessment of you for the families. Your application will be given to suitable families to consider. Families may call you here before you leave, depending on your time frame. Will you have use of the car in your free time Once your application is complete you will receive a Registration Confirmation Letter and Information Pack.
