1 RCI INTRODUCTION MANUAL RESORTS CONDIMINUM INTERNATIONAL In this package you will discover how simple it is to navigate around the RCI website and to stay in control of managing your exchanges and your home resort weeks. Important Housekeeping FEES for the Residences at Fairmont Ridge Owners ONLY Important You will need to pay the cleaning fee for every week that you deposit that is BOOKED BY AN RCI GUEST. Those weeks that you deposit that don t get booked by an RCI guest Fairmont Creek will not charge you the cleaning fee. As a member you will pay annual dues to RCI that pay for a service over the phone and online almost 24hrs a day. 5 LEARNING THE RCI WEBSITE & MANAGEMENT STEP 1 SIGN IN OR REGISTER A. If you already have a username & password enter your details and click Points Sign In B. Register now This will step you through setting up a username and password; you will need your membership #. 7 STEP 4 *RESERVE YOUR HOME WEEK RESERVATION * BOOK ANOTHER WEEK USING HOME RESORT & HOME GROUP A. HOME RESERVATIONS - Click and you will have a screen pop up showing HOME WEEK and if you have any weeks coming up in the FOLLOWING year, they will show up here. It shows you the Reservation Window; this is the window of opportunity that you have to confirm the week (12-13 months prior) You CANNOT confirm your weeks before this reservation window. When there are no weeks showing to be confirmed, this means you do not have any weeks in the following calendar year. It is free to book you home weeks If you DONOT confirm your home week it will automatically go into points! Cancel your Home Week up to 120 days prior and receive full points call RCI to do so RENT YOUR WEEK: Please confirm it as a Home Week than call Fairmont Creek to rent Click here A A B C B. HOME RESORT - You can use this search engine to book to come back to your Home Resort at a different time, using your points. Pick your desired date of travel and go to this section months prior to that desired dates check in time. (E.g. Desired Date July go to this section in August of the prior year) C. HOME GROUP - Book to Marble Canyon, The Ridge or Sooke Harbour month prior to your desired date of travel works the same as Home Resort

8 STEP 5 BOOKING TO OTHER RESORTS Search for an exchange Vacation Search RCI Affiliated Resorts 2408 of them You will search all RCI Points & Weeks Resorts A. You can simply search by clicking on the map and narrowing in that way. B. Filter your search - Region, Rest of the World, Check in month, Vacation type and number of nights. C. Resort ID specifics type in the resort ID number of the resort you want to visit. To find out the resort ID numbers click on Resort Directory on the right hand column. A B C

9 STEP 6 SUCCESSFUL AVAILABILITY SEARCH If you find a resort that has availability it will show up like this. A little calendar with the month that you searched will be visible. If there is a Green number in a month that means there is a possible week or days available to book. Click to view size of condo available. Don t forget to read all information about the resort before you book, especially if you have never traveled there. We suggest you visiting their website or contacting the resort if RCI s information is not very clear. Always think Check in procedures, location and hours of operation so that there are no surprises on your arrival! Click on green numbers this will show availability Once you select check in / Check out - a unit will show up. If there is availability Just like this 5 bedroom
