Choose the first order product decision that best fits your business needs with your director, in person or over video chat. Your first order and first 15 days are vitally important! If you have decided to carry product in stock, make sure to order it in time to arrive! If you plan to have a party of 5-8, invite around guests. If you plan to do a Business Debut, invite Invite your guests a week ahead of time. 2-3 days before your party, reach out to all of your guests and preprofile (page 64). o Quick Text to Guests: Hey Susie! 10 Frequently Asked Questions How to I accept credit cards? Your Mary Kay Business works with a ProPay account. Follow the information in Step 2 to set up your account! How do I fill out a sales ticket? Use either The Look catalog or the MyCustomers+ app to keep track of product prices. Simply fill their information at the top, list the items, add up the items for a subtotal before taxes, multiply that number by your sales tax. Add the tax number to the subtotal for your sales total. What do I wear to meetings and events? Unless otherwise stated, Mary Kay events are business professional. This means dresses or skirts. If pants are appropriate for the event it will be noted. Mary Kay Ash asked us to always be professional and we honor her request. How do I order my product? Your director or recruiter will help you with your first order! After your initial order you can log in to your InTouch and click on Ordering. What is a Star Consultant? Being a STAR is the best way to earn fabulous prizes AND business referrals. The company showers its STAR consultants with incredible gifts such as designer bags, watches, sunglasses, cookware, jewelry, gift cards, and much more! See page 110 in your SSB for the best information! Understanding Active Status Earned Discount Privilege (EDP): You receive a 50% discount on any Section 1 wholesale order when you order a minimum $225 wholesale ($450 retail). You will continue to receive a 50% discount on any Section 1 products as long as you remain active. Active Status: The month you place a minimum $225 wholesale order and the two following calendar months you are considered Active. As long as you remain Active you receive your EDP. The $225 wholesale minimum may be accrued cumulatively during any single month period following the initial order. Inactive Status: If you have not placed a minimum $225 wholesale order by the last day of the 3 rd month you, you are considered Inactive.
