2 Get ready for Change I ve been holding Biz Vision Board workshops for the past 5 years. I began creating my own business vision boards when I grew my million dollar team. And, have continued it every year with my coaching business. This workbook is part of the work I use with my private coaching clients to help them have incredible success. The questions are powerful and can have a profound change on the way you think, the way you act and the way you progress throughout the year in growing your business. They will help you see where your business is at now, and give you clarity to where you re heading. If you can see it you can achieve it Walt Disney saw theme parks, animated movies and more Jim Carrey wrote himself a 10 million dollar check and visualized himself making millions. When you create your Biz Vision board you design a snapshot of your future dreams and goals. It becomes the BLUEPRINT for inspiration, planning and taking action. Then, when you take those goals off your vision board and make a decision to take action, you create a path for success for the whole year. Your Biz Vision board is a magnet to attract and achieve what you want in your business. It will inspire new thinking and action and as the year rolls along you ll find the decisions you make will revolutionize your business. 3 The 7-Step Process Get a foam board or poster board. Gather magazines, newspapers, photos, images, words. Glue stick and scissors. Find a 2-3 hour gap of time. Print it out and create a 3-ring binder or folder to write all these dreams and goals in it. Answer all the prompts in this workbook, or just the ones that are appropriate for you. Tear, Cut & Paste. Once you ve answered the prompts and written out your goals and dreams and you re full of great intentions to achieve your goals in 2014, go through magazines, pictures, and tear out words, images, phrases that sing to you. Don t pre-judge anything. If you love it, tear it, and begin your pile of visuals and get ready to paste. Create your Biz Vision Board Layout. Refer to information on Page 22. Begin the cut and paste creative process and create your 2014 Biz Vision Board Follow the prompts in the journal planner pages. Create your BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) and keep breaking down your goal into quarterly, monthly, and daily action steps. Add to your calendar to review your 2014 Biz Vision Board and your Strategic Action Plan every month to keep you on track with goals. The more you review, the more your goals will come true Important reminder: There is no right or wrong way to create your Biz Vision Board. 5 Celebrate & Release happened the way it did for a reason. I always share with my coaching clients, it s all about the journey. Sometimes things don t happen the way we want and they turn out to be blessings. You have to believe that it s all taking you where you need to go. 8 How did your customer service play out? What could you do to improve on it. What marketing and networking worked in 2013? What created new business and wins for you? How was your social media connecting? How much did you increase in followers in 2013? Gale Bates LLC

9 Celebrate & Release 2013 Okay, it s time to take a look at the figures Knowing your numbers helps you grow them. This is an important page. If you don t know these numbers, figure them out What was your total sales and commissions for 2013? (The total amount of money that came into your biz) What were your total expenses for 2013? What was your net profit for 2013? (total sales and commissions minus expenses) IMPORTANT NOTE: Don t get discouraged by these numbers. They are just numbers. Numbers that can grow as soon as you know where you are and where you dream to go. The opportunities are limitless Want to know how to Track your Business income and expenses? Your Sales, your commissions, your bonuses? What income stream will you focus on? How will you maximize ALL the income streams in your Comp. Plan? Gale Bates LLC

15 Demographic (Age, gender, income, values) Describe your Ideal Client? Psychographics (Likes, hobbies, emotions, attitudes. ) Why would they want to buy your products? What solutions would they receive using your products? Write a brief description of your Ideal Client. Gale Bates LLC

16 Create your 2014 Business Marketing Party Pie Chart Marketing is spreading the word and growing NEW customers, new hostesses, new prospects. What networking and events will you join to grow your business? See Example of Marketing Party Pie below. These are areas you will work on every month to promote and book parties and grow your business. Create your own marketing party pie. What areas do you promote or participate in to create more consistent parties every month. Gale Bates LLC

17 Create a 2014 Marketing/Networking Calendar Write in each section your daily, weekly, monthly marketing and networking activities e.g. Which social media areas, your referral programs, your networking events. Daily Weekly Monthly Gale Bates LLC

18 What Systems do you want to create in 2014? Systems automate our time. What systems do you have in place right now? How do you welcome new clients? What follow-up systems? Team Building Systems? 20 Create your 2014 Biz Vision Board Tear, Cut & Paste Now you re clear with what you want in 2014, it s time to create your Biz Vision board. Get ready to Tear, Cut and Paste. What to look for? Write thoughts about what you ve reviewed so far. Look for images and words that inspire you and lift you up. Look through magazines and tear out anything that catches your eye. This is the creative process in visualizing your future success for the year. THOUGHTS IMAGES WORDS Gale Bates LLC

21 Create your Vision Board Layout Create blocks or areas across or down Begin with a focal point picture and create visuals around it. Gale Bates LLC

22 Activate & Affirm your Goals Use Goal Cards Goal cards take your business to a whole new level. They act as a visual trigger to take action. They keep you focused every day. You attract what you want daily, weekly, monthly when you know how to look at what you desire. The principals of goal cards is writing them down and looking at them every day for 90 days Take three 5x7 cards and write down your three top goals, with 5 actions steps underneath the goal. Review these goal cards every day for 90 days. Use Affirmations Affirmations are positive word statements to improve your life. Using positive affirmations helps you manifest your goals. They are usually short positive statements which help overcome negative beliefs and replacing them with positive self-nurturing beliefs. Affirmations help you focus on inner goals and reminds you to consciously think about the words and thoughts you use every day. Create THREE affirmations, write them down and read them daily. Examples might be. I am building a financial, stable 100K business in I have unlimited abundance. I am positively expecting great results no matter what I see in front of me. #1 #2 #3 Develop the W.I.T.A. in your Business THE W.I.T.A. is an acronym for running your business with a Whatever It Takes Approach. People use excuses like, I don t have the money, or I don t have enough time, or they blame people or things that prevent their success. This is self-sabotage and people use these excuses every day. It is the mindset piece. If you were thrust with a life or death situation you would find the money, you would make the time. To achieve success you ve got to be willing to take a W.I.T.A. approach with your business. Pay attention to your excuses When you say yes to opportunity and do whatever it takes, the minute you do that, your business and income changes immediately. A W.I.T.A. approach is one of the most empowering attitudes you can have in business. Gale Bates LLC

24 Prioritize Take a good look at your vision board. Close your eyes and imagine the future that the images on your board describe. Now, open your eyes and write down 5-10 representations from your vision board. Write 5-10 Representations from your Vision Board Write 3-5 Outcomes that you re passionate about. Gale Bates LLC

25 Goals & Highlights from Biz Vision Board You ve spent time planning your business for You ve got amazing visuals on your board and in your head. You know what you want to achieve in 2014 in your business. Now, spend a few moments and write out the goals and highlights that came up when you created your Biz Vision board. Write a paragraph or make a list. Keep your Biz Vision Board in front of you as you write down these goals and highlights. This is a powerful exercise to help you get clear in creating action steps to help you achieve your goals. Now, let s move to the next step. Focus on these goals and highlights from your Biz Vision Board and think about the action you need to take to achieve them. On the next page you re going to write SEVEN action steps. Maybe you ll only come up with one or two, but keep going back and look at your Biz Vision board, and your goals and try to come up with SEVEN solid action steps for Gale Bates LLC

27 Chunk it Down Now, let s look at creating a time line for your goals. Chunking them down into the four quarters of the year. What would you like to accomplish by the end of each quarter? The answers to these questions might be one or two words. If you d like a more detailed description, write it in. Chunking down into quarters, is a great way to see your path to succeeding.
