1 Free Range Kickstart programme (overview and offer) The Kickstart is a unique 3 month programme to take your idea (or even your idea-kernel) and form it into a fully fledged business that actually works. 2 Before describing what is involved in it and what you ll get, a personal note from me about what this is and what s coming up: In the video I mentioned that the Kickstart is a bit of a one off in free range business course land and it very much is. As I mentioned, I made changes to how I work the other year, and made the unusual choice to pull down all our other starting out business offerings so the Kickstart is now the only one we offer. For that reason I have no plans to do a huge marketing push around this: As this is the only thing I offer on this topic, the only way I help people go from idea/the start of your thing to real income (and the only thing we know of that shows you how to do this in a personalised way that lasts) we want people on here who are as up for making things work as we are at working with you! 3 FREE RANGE KICKSTART: OVERVIEW The Kickstart is in 3 parts (aka Semesters ) which each run for 4 or so weeks, and covers the things-that-most-matter to go from an idea to a business you ve been paid for (and the foundations to grow full time from there). Semester 1: CLARITY. Over 4 or 5 weeks you ll get clear on your niche, on how to describe what you do, so that the right people sit up and want to pay for it (no matter how crowded your field might be or how full of free stuff it may be!). You ll also get a grip on creating and packaging your first offer, pricing right, and the pieces that enable you to go from here to paid and beyond. Semester 2: INCOME ACTION CHALLENGE. This is the part where you get momentum... and even get paid (no big list or website required!). This is particularly important if you have a tendency to get stuck in research mode forever. Here Selina comes in to create your Kickstart challenge : using an approach we developed based on research with over 100 free rangers (on how those who got paid the soonest after having an idea did it), you discover your path to making your first chunk of income without the faff... and actually do it. Doing this this free-range setting not only, er, gets you paid your first chunk of income about a dozen times faster than most people starting out... but also gives you invaluable momentum that comes from having not just an idea I m working on but something I ve been paid for and is actually happening. 3

4 This is so important to getting your thing off the ground, and we will walk you through taking action in a way that fits where you are by that time to get you way further ahead of the pack. Semester 3: STRATEGY Here we put the pieces in place to go from first offer to full time income, on your terms. You ll learn the foundations of growing this from a trickle of interest to a full flowing stream. You ll discover how to pick the right strategy for you (and how to never end up thinking gah should I buy Facebook ads or something?! and end up spending loads of money in unhelpful places... instead you ll get your strategy and attraction model honed from the start, so you know exactly where you put your attention from here to make this work in every sense). We ll also sort out your business model as well as pricing, offers, and income strategy so you can create a profitable business that fits what you want and need in your life. This really is the foundation of free range business (think of it like the free range business school!) that will both get things rolling now, but also give you the tools and approaches that will carry you into the long term. As this programme runs over a much longer period than the Ideas Adventure each Semester is released in one go, so you work through at your pace during that time - meaning even if you re away a week or so you won t fall behind! 5 Interaction and support Over these 3 months you ll have Zoom Drop In Clinics with me. Here we ll go through where you are, talk through some key parts that have come up for people at this stage, and answer questions that have come up for you in that time. These Clinics are fortnightly in Semester 1 and weekly in Semesters 2 and 3. (Often courses of this type do only monthly calls but these more regular clinics ensure you are in a position to get the attention you need). Weekly Check Ins in the group. Every week there ll be an action check-in in the community, to see where you re at, celebrate success and unblock anything in your way. Personal Review (my favourite part!). The Kickstart includes a personal review where you send in a key part of your work on the course and I spend an hour recording a review of your business with my specific recommendations for you and your next steps. Bonus: Masterclasses with industry-specific experts. On some weeks I ll bring in a guest expert on a particular area all of whom have created thriving free range businesses in area that you are moving into. For example those doing making-of-things will have a session with a craft and maker expert (who has built several thriving art based businesses), one on photography and getting known in a crowded field, and more. How do the 3 part installments work? - First payment (aka the deposit) goes out now to secure your place. - The next in one month s time (so at the start of August) - The third and final one month after that (so you re all ready to start when we kick off on September 2!) 10 How many people are on the Kickstart? This isn t a course with thousands of people competing for space. We keep this to around people given I review your work individuals in the personal review, there is a natural cap on how many can join the Kickstart! That means there is still enough for a good buzz and support, but small enough to get attention. What if I fall behind, how long do I have access to the materials? Firstly you are not likely fall behind as this has been built to work over a longer period, with exactly what is going on in your life now. However if you want more time for whatever reason rest assured that while this is a 3 month course you have a full year s access to the full materials (though of course all the core parts you answer and plans you make though this are yours to keep forever). I m tempted, but am having a top dog moment, how can I decide for sure? Here s an insight into the way I decide on this. I ask: do I think that working with this person is going to help me make that investment back and more over the next year? If the answer is yes it s a no brainer this isn t like buying shoes, it s an investment in something with the intent on making a return by applying what you pick up there.
