1 Supply List Please help us take care of our books by providing a book cover for any physical textbooks. Supplies for Upper School Students (grades 9-12): Strongly encouraged for each student: Mobile device (ipad, ipad Mini, Surface, laptop, netbook) *CELL PHONES MAY NOT BE USED AS EDUCATIONAL DEVICES Ear buds ENGLISH DEPARTMENT Three ring binder with pockets, at least on inch, two inch preferred A spiral notebook will NOT suffice. College-ruled, loose-leaf notebook paper Blue or black ink pens Pencils/pencil sharpeners Bookcover (English II) Red ink pens An electronic device such as a tablet or laptop will be needed at times in class when we conduct research (smartphones may NOT be used as a substitute). Tablet or laptop will be used daily in AP Language and Composition. *Backup system highly recommended (such as flash drive or equivalent) AP Literature students only: College-ruled Mead-style composition notebook for journal AP Language students only: o The Death of Expertise: The Campaign against Established Knowledge and Why it Matters, 1st ed. o Barron's English Language and Composition, 7th ed. o A wifi-enabled device is required and will be used in class regularly. Laptops or tablets with bluetooth keyboard are strongly recommended.
