Whether you favour the understated beauty of 22mm or the raw power of 40mm, you ll find a Square-Edge surface to suit. As ever, a combination of both thicknesses is also an option. It s why all Spectra Square-Edge surfaces are made of durable materials that can withstand the most intense food preparation. Naturally, like all Spectra surfaces, they re highly versatile too, able to accommodate sinks, hobs and drainers on top, while enabling ovens, dishwashers and spin washers to be fitted seamlessly below. To ensure the work surfaces are fully protected and eye-catching from every angle, both sides and all edges are sealed with an identical décor. Speaking of which, 22 stylish décors and six textures are available including sophisticated marble, shimmering quartz and original abstract designs. We ve also ensured the work surfaces are available in practical sizes to keep both joints and wasteful offcuts to a minimum. And thanks to the 650mm width, you can be confident all appliances will be fully covered with room to spare for any required scribing for uneven walls. We ve gone to great lengths to ensure Spectra Square-Edge surfaces are available in a range of sizes to suit almost every kitchen. However, by working with your kitchen designer, you can also use our custom-made service to create a design uniquely suited to your kitchen or utility room. Here s how the service works: This image shows a 100mm custom-made surface being used for breakfast bar support legs. Step 1: Ordering First, ask your kitchen designer to sketch the work surface and breakfast bar shapes you want, specifying whether you want 22mm or 40mm thickness. And don t forget to include the dimensions and décor you require. Step 2: Approval After the designer has sent across the sketch we ll create a technical working drawing for you to review and approve. Step 3: Sign Off Once we ve received your kitchen retailer s written approval we ll get down to work. Step 4: Delivery After we ve triple-checked the finished custom-made surfaces we ll deliver them to your chosen location within three weeks of sign off. Custom-made surfaces are ideal for creating striking contrasts in the kitchen. In this example, a 100mm breakfast bar is used alongside a standard 40mm work surface

Please Note: Custom-made work surfaces and breakfast bars can be produced up to a maximum size of 4000 x 1200mm, with a minimum 70mm internal radius and a minimum 30mm external radius for any curved shapes

The six textures below have been carefully chosen to bring out the full lifelike character of each of the Spectra Square-Edge décors. Quartz A gloss surface with multi-coloured metallic elements freely distributed within the décor to give a dazzlingly unique finish. Used with some of our stone and wood décors, this delicate texture provides a distinctly natural look and feel. Stone Easy to clean and maintain, the non-reflective and subtle unevenness mirrors freshly quarried natural stone. Subtly and ingeniously replicates the natural grain of real wood. Six distinctive textures are applied across the Spectra Square-Edge range to give each of the 22 décors available a much greater sense of realism. So while the sharp clean edges and powerful style may catch the eye, your other senses are sure to be equally impressed. Satin This hard wearing finish provides a semi-polished sheen that enhances the colour of the décor. This texture provides a subtle satin feel, evoking the raw sensation of granite.
