(b) Precise levelling instrument is used for the purpose of obtaining final level, monitoring of engineering structures, determining the difference of Mean Sea Level among tide gauges station (STAPS) and determination of national vertical datum. Describe the characteristics of a precise leveling instrument. There are many advantages of using the GPS compared to conventional survey. Identify FIVE (5) advantages and FIVE (5) disadvantages of GPS survey.
