4 Product [ ] Accent adaption With the new focus on accent colors via customer adaption we have made a solution in Configura on some of the selected products to make it easier for you to offer them. The products concerned are: Frisbee Riff Chip Jig Xpect Trix On the component tab next to these chairs, you can see three colored dots that marks that the accent colors are available for these products. To choose the accent color on the product you first have to put it on the drawing area and then open the properties dialogue. When you click on the color of the metal (or choice of Wood for Chip) there is a new tab with accent colors in the Material browser. Here you can find all the accent colors that are available. Note that the standard color of the product also can be available as an accent color, and shall not be selected from here. 4

5 At the bottom of the Properties dialogue you ll find following information: NOTE! Accent colors are special, which means longer delivery! Accent colors brings a higher price (20%) The additional price of 20% is calculated on the total price of the product, the same product will therefore have different total price depending on the choice of fabric. When choosing Accent color on a product an Accent color - customer adaption saw will be visible as below. Other products below is registered with "regular" customer adaptation: Origo top/legs accent colours Use the customized saw and write the accent colour xxx 1. Top + edge and accent colour = one article price 20% extra 2. FB legs+ frame and accent colour = one article, price 20% extra NOTE! Origo table must be manually recorded in orders sending. 6 Oberon tops in Oak white stained or Oak 28 veneer (Ref.cards are included in recent update to KCS wall) Use S for special wood and creat the wood colour. The price will be correct. If you like to have Oak white stained or Oak 28 on other furniture s you have to use the saw and ask customizing for the price. Trix sofa-legs in accent colours Use the customized saw for each modul. Write the accent colour for legs in the saw. Contact customizing for exact price. Prim metal in accent colours Use the customized saw and write all visible metal in accent colour xxx. Contact customizing for price. 6

7 [ ] Space New series of cabinets placed on two new component tabs. You will recognize most of it if you are familiar with Series[e] but here is an overview: Options Options of colour on carcass and fronts are made on the component tabs. 7

8 Handles Are available in a browser with pictures, here you also have colour options for the handles. If chosen option is not available for any of the handles, that handle will get a red frame. (Metal colour for HAND5 is always Silver) Underframes All underframes you will find in a browser. Here you also have options for metal colour, wood and possibility to add cable net (to leg frames LR, LA and LAW). 8

9 A new possibility for Space is that you now can change underframe on one or several cabinets on the drawing via the properties dialogue.. Frame P Cabinets in height Portrait with bottom shelf. Cabinet 2PT is only available with under frame Pads (2PT) 800mm. Frame L Cabinets in height Landscape with bottom shelf. Frame A / AEM A - Cabinets in height Portrait with top, sides and bottom shelf that Aligns in front. Is available as both bottom and top cabinet. (Width 400 and 800 mm). AEM Extension module in height Portrait with top and sides that Aligns in front, without bottom shelf. (Width 400 and 800 mm). When adding this cabinet as a top module you first click the cabinet in place and then by moving the cursor up or down over the cabinet you get to choose if the cabinet should be with(a) or without(aem) the bottom shelf, when chosen, click again. Frame E Cabinets in height Portrait with bottom shelf (Width 800 mm). With under frame PLBA the cabinet will align in height with Series[e] cabinet with under frame BA. Frame EEM Extension module in height Portrait without bottom shelf (Width 800 mm). Added to a bottom cabinet (E) with underframe PLBA the cabinet will align in height with Series[e] cabinet with under frame BA. 9

10 Fronts Are chosen via a browser Here you also have options for Colour front and Mail slot. If chosen option is not available for any fronts, these will get a red frame. NB! Front OC does not have any option of colour, it will get the colour from the sides of the cabinet. Handle settings on the component tab also affect if the front is optional or not. DO1-DO12 Doors for personal lockers 10

11 When adding the icon for personal lockers to a cabinet you chose if you want to have DO2 or DO3 by moving the cursor to the left or right before you click, small lockers DO2-DO12 will get the right amount of doors for the specific cabinet. D1-D12 / D2-D4 Drawers When adding the icon for drawers to a cabinet you chose the number of drawers by moving the cursor up or down before you click. DO, GDO, TAH, SDI Bottom or Top cabinet (Handle and lock placement) When adding fronts to a cabinet with underframe No underframe (0NC) you chose if you want to have the handle / lock placement as for a bottom or top cabinet by moving the cursor up and down before you click. NB! Cabinets with height 4P or higher always have the same placement for handles and locks. Inserts All cabinets has an insert as default. To change insert you do as for Series[e]. If you move the cursor to the top of the cabinet, you will get a large question mark and the browser will show all the available options for that cabinet. If you move the cursor to a shelf, the available level 2 inserts will be shown. NB! No level 2 inserts are available for Knock Down(KD) cabinets. (Small question mark). 11

12 Accessories For Space, we have tried to gather all accessories in a browser. Here you also have settings that affects those accessories that have options. No lock NL Snaps onto a cabinet to get the cabinet without lock (Smooth door). To add a lock to the cabinet chose another icon for lock. NB! In the pricelist, the cabinets are presented without locks while in Configura standard locks or spanjolett locks are set as default. Standard lock Snaps onto a cabinet if you want to change to standard lock. NB! In the pricelist, the cabinets are presented without locks while in Configura standard locks are set as default. (The locks are visible in the side view and in 3D) Spanjolett lock Snaps onto a cabinet with doors DO to get spanjolett lock. To remove spanjolett lock chose another icon for lock. NB! In the pricelist, the cabinets are presented without locks while in Configura spanjolett locks are set as default on those cabinets that are not available with standard lock. (The locks are visible in the side view and in 3D) 12

13 Pad lock PL Snaps onto cabinets with personal lockers DO1-DO12 to get pad lock. To remove the pad lock chose another icon for lock. Combination lock Snaps onto cabinets with personal lockers DO1-DO12 to get combination lock. To remove the combination lock chose another icon for lock. Contrasting shelf colour Snaps onto a cabinet to get contrasting colour of the wooden shelves / inserts. (Not for reinforced wooden shelf) To remove contrasting shelf, snap the icon once more. Leg reduction Snaps between cabinets (2D) with leg frame LR, LA or LAW to reduce the number of legs. To remove leg reduction snap the icon once again. Pre drilled top Snaps to the 2D of the cabinet to get the top pre drilled. (Prepared to add a top cabinet) To remove pre drilling snap the icon once again. Hinge 270 Snaps onto cabinets with doors DO to get hinges that can be opened 270. (Not for cabinets with design doors PADO or lockers) Hinges H270 are visible in the side view and in 3D. (Same hinges as for Series[e]) To remove hinges 270 snap the icon once again. 13

14 Knock-Down Icon to make Knock Down(KD) cabinets assembled. If you want to change into KD cabinets again just snap the icon back. NB! When this icon is used, you have to make sure that an assembled cabinet will be able to be delivered assembled at the customer. To remind you of this there will be a note in verify drawing for the salesman. Complete hole pattern Snaps onto cabinets to get complete hole pattern, the cabinet will be prepared for other inserts. To remove complete hole pattern snap the icon once again. NB! All cabinets higher than 3P always has a complete hole pattern and this icon. Soft closing Snaps onto cabinets with sliding doors SDI or File drawers FF to get the choice, soft closing. To remove soft closing, snap the icon once again. Pen tray PTR Snaps to a cabinet with drawer to get a pen tray. To remove the pen tray, click on the yellow triangle. Rotate Snaps onto cabinets to rotate part of the combination 180. To remove the rotation, snap the icon once again. 14

15 SBRIDGE Module that can be placed between cabinets in the side view. NB! You must have a cabinet below the SBRIDGE. To remove the SBRIDGE, click on the yellow triangle. SAFU Module that can be placed on the floor (Floor mounted FM) or onto a cabinet with height 2P or lower. Floor mounted only available with front open O. Mounted to a cabinet you can add doors DO or drawers D2 and D3 from the front browser. Inserts are chosen from the insert browser. To remove the SAFU from a cabinet, click on the yellow triangle. To remove from the floor, activate the yellow square and delete. SBU (O DO D2 DO3) Freestanding module that can be placed onto cabinets or on the floor. Via the properties dialogue you can also chose to get the SBU wall hanged (WH). To adjust the height in 3D, right click on the module. To add doors DO or drawers D2 and D3 use the front browser. Inserts are chosen from the insert browser. SBU modules are also available to be hanged underneath a desk top (DH). To remove a SBU from desks and cabinets, click on the yellow triangle. To remove from floor, activate the yellow square and delete. SDU Drawer unit that can be placed inside or on top of a cabinet. To remove a SDU from inside of a cabinet, click on the yellow triangle. To remove a SDU from on top of a cabinet, activate the yellow square and delete. SFU400 / SFU550 Pullout with a basket that can be placed inside of a cabinet. To remove the pullout, click on the yellow triangle. 15

16 STCU Seat cushion Seat cushion that can be added to a cabinet with height 1P or 2L that has an insert with a divider. To remove the seat cushion, click on the yellow triangle. SPBA Power box Angled or Straight Angled or straight power box that can be placed between two cabinets in height 1P with leg frame LR, LA or LAW. The colour of the box and if you want to have any electric equipment is chosen in the accessories browser. SQF400/SQF800 Available on top of a cabinet with width 400 and 800 mm and height 2P or lower (will soon be available up to 3P). On top of a Q-frame, you can add a cabinet with maximum height 2P. Settings for colour, you make in the accessories browser. To remove the Q-frame, click on the yellow triangle. Binder NB! Only for decoration Binder Only for decoration. To remove the binder click on the yellow triangle. 16

17 DUCO Option for DUCO/Dual colour for personal lockers you will find in the Properties dialogue. Inserts: Post rack AP15 The post racks are dark grey as default when adding them into a cabinet. Via the properties dialogue (right click on the post rack), you can change into another colour. NB! Both post racks in a combination will get the same colour. If you want to have more than two post racks in a combination you can buy them separately. SDU box AP9 The SDU box will get the colour for the drawer fronts from the sides of the cabinet it will be placed in and has handle HAND6 in silver as default. Via the properties dialogue (right click on the SDU box) you can change handles and colour of the fronts. NB! All SDU boxes in a combination will get the same colour. 17

18 Insert SISM to cabinet S2P800A The colour of the insert SISM can be changed via the properties dialogue (right click on the insert). NB! If you have more than one SISM in the cabinet combination, they will get the same colour. Additional insert for SISM2DO is chosen in the insert browser by right click. 18

19 Island Combinations The different Island Combinations you will find in a browser. Here you also have options for colour of the cover plates and options for electrical equipment s for the islands with depth 1000mm. The add-on top will be in the same wooden colour as the cabinets as default. (Laminate Beech, Laminate Birch and Laminate Oak will get matching colour in veneer). When you have added an Island combination to the drawing, use the browsers for front and inserts to make the island as you wish. By the Add-on topp browser you can change the top either into another colour or to a glass top. NB! If you change the properties via the properties dialogue, note that every cabinet in the combination are unique, if you want the change to appear on all cabinets in the combination you have to use the setting group. Add-on topp Wooden and glass tops for Islands you can find in a browser. 19

20 Glass tops are also available for cabinets and cabinet combinations in sizes: 1000x400mm 1200x400mm 1600x400mm 2000x400mm (today 2 pcs of cabinets with width 1000mm, more combinations will follow) Add the top to the 2D of the cabinets, to remove, add once again. To add a 2000mm wide glass top on two pcs of cabinets, move the cursor to be between the cabinets and click. Different backs All different backs are available in a browser: Veneer Laminate Accent Acrylic Whiteboard Add-on back in fabric (also available in combination with Veneer, Accent and Laminate backs). Add the icon to the cabinet to get different back. To remove, add another back or to get the standard back again, use the icon None. 20

21 Customer adaption Unlike Series[e], each front for Space creates a unique article code, this means that if you for example have made a customer adaption to an open(o) cabinet you can t for example add doors. The saw will still be added to the cabinet but the article code has been replaced by the new one for the cabinet with doors(do), without the adaption text. Also note that there can be several rows in the customer adapted dialogue that you can see by using the scroll bar to the right. Other All cabinets higher than 3L has to be secured for anti-tilting, to remind you of this the salesmen will get an information about this in verify drawing. Space is the largest series of products that we ever have made in Kinnarps Configura, we cannot possible have tested all possible variants. 22 [ ] New Lock numbers Important! The change of principles for lock numbers applies for both new cabinet series Space and for old series[e] (cabinets and pedestals)! In earlier versions of Configura was option One lock number per room default for all new drawing, it have been changed to a new option which means what the lock numbers will be randomly selected in the production (please also see the information in the yellow information box) Image from new version 166 of Configura Another important change is that the possibility to get a so-called special lock number, No. K8601 K9000, is discontinued. All lock numbers outside No. K8501-K8550 (option randomly selected ) and K8501-K8600 (other three options) are handled by the special department -> the product have to made customer adapted Image from the old version of Configura 22

23 Another change is that Lock number per level is replaced by the new option randomly selected The first lock related image above shows the dialogue to set the principles in general for a drawing (if it should be lock number per room, per unit, randomly selected and so on) but it s as before also possible to specify this for a single cabinet/pedestal (see image below). It s option Lock number per level (NOTE! Randomly chosen) which should be used get such a solution Image from new version 166 of Configura All old drawings, made in previous versions of Configura, will keep their general setting (e.g. lock number per room) BUT if the old drawing includes something which have been discontinued this dialogue will be shown when open the drawing 23

24 [ ] Oberon Has got two new CPU holders: OBACH1 NEW OBACH2 NEW OBACH5 (old) [ ] Nano & Nexus These two new CPU-holders, OBACH1 and OBACH2 and the old OBACH5 (from Oberon) will also fit to Nano and Nexus tables with depth 600mm. (No CPU-holders have been available for 600mm deep Nano and Nexus tables before) [ ] Trixagon Power grommet T80PG has been discontinued: Is replaced by the new Power grommet T80PGR: Old drawings will be updated automatically. 24

25 Function [ ] Render server The rendering takes place in a separate process, in its own window, you can continue working in Configura while your rendering is being processed. The rendering will continue even if you close the Configura main window. Whenever a render task is sent to the render server, the Render Queue window opens. At the bottom left, is a preview of the current render job. The right part of the window is a viewing area where the image that you have selected in the list to the left is shown: Each item in the list has two icons to the right. The leftmost icon is Copy to clipboard, and the rightmost icon is Open containing folder. Each item can also be easily removed with the red removal X. You can easily add a rendered image from the Render Queue to the drawing area. Just click the image in the viewing area, or one of the images in the list, drag it to the drawing area and drop it in the desired location. You can also use drag and drop to place the image in several other places, for example on your desktop, in your Windows explorer or an image viewer. All images from the render queue are collected in a folder on your computer called Configura Render Queue, which is automatically created when you render an image via the render server for the first time: 25

26 [ ] Render settings for new core To render with the new core, right-click on the camera and select Develop. You will also see Develop (old engine) is available as an option and that means that you can develop with an old rendering engine if needed. 1 Render quality Under section Render quality there are 3 different choices, Fast (low render quality), Medium (intermediate render quality) and High ( High render quality). Antialiasing, means to improve or make pixel quality more smoothly on the images. See example below Antialiasing X1 Antialiasing X5 2 Image dimensions Here can you specify the image size. Select from the list the size of the target image you need. 3 Lightning & Shadows Under section Lightning & Shadows can you affect the intensity of light and shadows. In Light Intensity section provides the following parameters: Total: The specified value between indicates how much light you want in your rendering. You must have a value bigger than 0 to be able to use the parameters Sunlight and Camera. Sunligt: The specified value between indicates how much sunlight you want to use your development. Camera: The specified value between indicates how sensitive for light your camera is. 26

27 If we use the picture above to the right as an example, I have used the following values: Total: 50 Sunligt: 50 Camera: 50. The picture to the left, the following values: Total: 100 Sunligt: 50 Camera: 50. Sun Shadow: Here you choose whether you want to use shadows or not. = Hard shadows or no shadows = None. Sun direction and angle: Här anger du vinkel på solljuset samt riktning. 4 Kamera lista Select which of your cameras in your Configura scene you want to use for rendering. The selected camera in drawing area will be pre-selected. 5 Go to Camera By clicking on the button "go to camera", camera will be highlighted and centralized on the drawing area. 6 Render Click the Render button if you want to render an image with the above settings. 27

28 [ ] Print frame Print Frame has a new feature on the layout in the drawing area. Now you can easily click to switch between portrait or landscape format. Click on the first yellow icon in the upper right corner to switch to portrait or landscape style. 28
