1 Year 7 Exam topics English Students need to analyse what techniques are used, why the writer uses these techniques and how the audience reacts. So learning key terms such as metaphor, simile, personification, verb, adjective, adverb, noun, pronoun, enjambment, rhyme, rhythm, alliteration, onomatopoeia etc will benefit students.
